“After viewing other local photographer's work, I just didn't like any of the photos. They were too dark and posed/not natural. As soon as I saw Miranda's work, it clicked. I loved the bright, dreamy, whimsical, storybook vibes her shots give. The more I looked over her past work, the more I fell in love with her craft. Meeting Miranda via Zoom was such a delight. She is seriously an amazing person—kind, funny, bubbly, and light-hearted. I explained that we were having a smallish wedding and were willing to forgo some shots if we could keep to a certain budget. Wow, she was willing to work with me and my husband! “We were so lucky to find and connect with Kim for our wedding photos. Planning it for the 3rd time – yes, we are one of those pandemic couples – we were so nervous about having to find someone quickly that we liked. Pictures were one of our top priorities and we were very picky about achieving the right style. Kim hit it out of the park on all fronts. Not only is she ridiculously talented, but she was a breeze to work with from beginning to end. She is extremely kind, attentive, and accommodating. She offered us a last-minute engagement shoot so that we could meet her and to get us comfortable in front of the camera. This was so helpful for us and made shooting for the wedding much easier and relaxing. She also stayed longer than planned to get those few extra special shots walking around SoHo. When we saw our engagement photos, we knew we made the right decision. On the day of, it was important to us to incorporate our home, neighborhood, and adorable pup in our photos. Kim was super flexible and thoughtful of how to do this. She totally leaned in when I wanted to walk to Washington Sq Park for our first look, where we got the “free hugs” guy to take photos with us, then hopped into a yellow cab to the venue. Kim kept us moving and made the best use of the time we had, which was super helpful since we didn’t have a wedding coordinator. The whole day turned out to be perfect and Kim captured it all for us. Every person who has seen our proof book has said “how are you going to choose? They are all amazing…” and I couldn’t agree more! We can’t wait to work with her again.”

Cinemarvelfilms is a New York/New Jersey based wedding photography and cinematography company. Cristian Velez is the owner and primary photographer. Everyone can shoot photos and video, but not everyone can tell a story. Unlike many of the standard event photographers in the industry, my goal is to create dynamic images that bridges together the emotions shared among your family and friends in a candid fusion of imagery.
