I’ve always enjoyed people immensely, from all walks of life and from wherever I’ve been in the world. I’m friendly, easy-going, curious, kind, supportive, and flexible. I listen and observe. These characteristics, combined with my artistic vision and technical expertise, allow me to capture poignant, humorous and truly candid photos of people and their environment.

With all my photographs, my eye is drawn to emotion and gesture with a backdrop of light, color, shape and shadow. This is especially true when I photograph a couple. I scout the area beforehand, looking for just the right locations to “frame” and to place them in the environment, whether it’s stunning architecture or a striking landscape. In addition to meetings before the wedding, I'm very familiar with my client's timeline for their wedding and check in with them regularly. After the wedding I email them sample photographs and always deliver the photos according to my contract. Most of my business is from referrals from past clients.

    Stunning and Unique

    The best photographer

    Laurie was absolutely fantastic and easy to work with. She really went out of her way to understand the vision we had for the wedding. She also really cares about your story as a couple and captures that in the photos. Before the wedding, she was great to work with for so many reasons. She was communicating with the planner and also keeping us organized with the shot list and day of photos. She also taught us how to pose!! We are definitely not that couple that knows how to pose well together and she helped make us feel so comfortable training us! Overall I had such an amazing, fun, and super organized person to work with! The pictures came out AMAZING!!! I highly recommend Laurie to anyone!!!

Typically, couples book me between 6-15 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, I email links in 6-10 weeks after your wedding, but I send samples within the week and can also provide samples for a thank you card image within 2 weeks of your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a link to a secure web gallery and high resolution digital files so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
You can expect about 70-90 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 21 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or a second shooter that shares my style.
