Hey there! My name is Emilee, and I am a Minnesota-native living in NYC! I've been photographing people and events for the past 15 years. I shoot families, couples, individuals, and pets, but my passion lies in wedding photography. I love capturing the whirlwind of a couples' big day, and seeing the love that is shared between them and all their wedding guests. It's magical and wonderful every. single. time. My current active markets are Minnesota and New York, but I'm available to travel anywhere in the US and the world for additional fees!

I shoot mainly documentary-style, which means I LOVE those candid, genuine moments that you'll want to remember. I strive for authenticity and vulnerability in my work, and your comfort is my #1 priority! I am a true go-with-the-flow gal. I work hard to make you and your guests feel comfortable, because THAT'S how we are going to get the best and most beautiful, genuine photos possible. I strive to put everyone I photograph at ease, and try to blend seamlessly into your day. You won't even notice me--unless you want to, and then I'll be THERE for you, I promise.     Beautiful photos and an amazing experience

    Working with Emilee E. Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From our first conversation, she was responsive and organized, making the entire process feel stress-free and smooth. On the day of our wedding, Emilee had a gift for making us feel at ease in front of the camera, she kept things natural and fun while capturing those small moments we would have missed on our own.     Fantastic engagement session

    Emilee did a great job making us feel comfortable and photogenic. With her documentary style photography, she captured wonderful candids of me and my fiancée, and photos we will cherish forever! Not to mention, she got our photos back quickly!

    Professional and down-to-earth

    I was able to book Emilee at short notice, and found her to be efficient, professional, and very easy to work with. We came up with a shot list, but she had a good eye in terms of suggesting ways of capitalizing on the venue and working with the space in real time - her confidence in directing us made me feel comfortable and natural. Our pictures came out beautifully, in what I feel is record time compared to my peers’ experiences with photographers, and now have our happiest moments with friends and family captured for us to look back at in the future. Would highly recommend!

    Emilee was great to work with from the beginning! Overall, she made things comfortable and easy while staying professional at all times. I knew we would get along great when I found out she also came from the Midwest but knew her style would work well for our New York City wedding. Emilee made sure to meet with us prior to the wedding to discuss the plans in detail. She was then timely and thorough on our wedding day, making sure to get all the details we wanted, even staying a little late to make sure everything was covered. She was warm and friendly with us and our guests and sent a sneak-peek album of photos the very next day which was absolutely perfect! SO happy with our decision to work with Emilee!!

Typically, couples book me about 12 - 6 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
I usually do not work with an assistant, but this can be a special request if you prefer.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
My photography style definitely leans more toward documentary. I love capturing real, authentic, candid moments during your day. Those are the kind of photos, I believe, truly encapsulate the emotions and feelings of that particular moment. Of course, I also photograph the more posed, traditional photos such as a wedding party or family photos. But sometimes the un-posed and the im-perfect photos can hold the most joy.
