Hey there! My name is Emilee, and I am a Minnesota-native living in NYC! I've been photographing people and events for 15 years. I shoot families, couples, individuals, and pets, but my passion lies in wedding photography. I love capturing the whirlwind of a couples' big day, and seeing the love that is shared between them and all their wedding guests. It's magical and wonderful every. single. time.
I shoot documentary-style. I strive for authenticity and vulnerability in my work, and your comfort and ease is my #1 priority! I am a true go-with-the-flow gal. I work so hard to make you feel comfortable, because THAT'S the way we are going to get the best and most beautiful, genuine photos possible. I try to put everyone I photograph at ease, and try to blend seamlessly into your day. You won't even notice me--unless you want to, and then i'll be THERE for you, I promise. Exceptional Wedding Photographer!
We had the pleasure of working with Emilee for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! Just wonderful
We are so lucky to have Emilee for our days. Working with Emilee was a breeze, she makes you feel relaxed and just good times to be around, And that makes all the photos came out so natural and beautiful. We are also amazed how she is so fast on her feet and managed to capture everything that happened through the night without missing a beat. Greatly appreciated all the hard work she put into the amount of wonderful pictures we received. All and all We glad we get to have her before she became a superstar and we can’t get ahold of her!!! Emilee is the BEST!
What a dream Emilee was to work with, from start to finish. OUR CEREMONY PARTY: we decided on a private, courthouse elopement on a Wednesday, a 60 person reception party on a Friday. In both, our biggest priority was having a photographer capture the intimate, joyful small details. We went with Emilee because of her eye for the beauty in the small things. She captured both our days perfectly. DOCUMENTARY STYLE: Emilee was perfect behind the scenes, capturing beautiful moments of our friends and family, small details of the courthouse with just us. I look back at some of these photos and ask "how did she even get that?!" She has such an eye. POSED: We had about 20 minutes dedicated to posed, family photos during our reception. Emilee had our families relaxed and laughing, quickly swapping members in and out. In some newlywed photos, we sought her advice for how to pose. She gave quick direction, made us feel confident, and always found the perfect light. COMMUNICATION SPEED: Delivered on every promise, quick replies. Emilee was 15 minutes early to both locations, we never had to worry. PERSONALLY: We met with Emilee about 4 months before our big days. We had coffee, talked about our vision and our biggest priorities. She immediately felt like a friend, and knew she was firmly on our team. If you're looking for a photographer to capture not only beautiful photos of yourself, but more importantly, the feeling in every room, Emilee is the photographer for you. Kind and Communicative Photographer
Emilee was great! She made the planning process and day of run very smoothly. My husband uses a wheelchair and she was very accommodating and helpful in terms of choosing poses and also with logistics. Emilee turned around the photos quickly and they were beautiful!
