Hey there! My name is Emilee, and I am a Minnesota-native living in NYC! I've been photographing people and events for 15 years. I shoot families, couples, individuals, and pets, but my passion lies in wedding photography. I love capturing the whirlwind of a couples' big day, and seeing the love that is shared between them and all their wedding guests. It's magical and wonderful every. single. time.

I shoot documentary-style. I strive for authenticity and vulnerability in my work, and your comfort and ease is my #1 priority! I am a true go-with-the-flow gal. I work so hard to make you feel comfortable, because THAT'S the way we are going to get the best and most beautiful, genuine photos possible. I try to put everyone I photograph at ease, and try to blend seamlessly into your day. You won't even notice me--unless you want to, and then i'll be THERE for you, I promise.     We are beyond happy with our decision to have Emilee photograph our wedding day! During our initial planning call, she was immediately receptive to our ideas and totally understood that we preferred a more natural, less posed style. She was also flexible to our schedule needs and was willing to work with us on finding out what would work best which we appreciated. On the day of, she truly was a star. Not only was she professional through and through, she was kind, positive, and detail-oriented. She took charge in chaotic moments and helped corral family and friends to get the best shots. She was a patient and calm presence throughout the evening. She offered helpful suggestions and ideas when we needed them. She really went above and beyond. Finally, we were blown away by the photos we received - she captured every important moment in exquisite detail! It helped us relive the day in a new way, especially since it's so hard to take in everything when the actual event is happening. We are grateful she was there to document our special day and we will cherish these photos for many years to come!

    We hired Emilee for our wedding day (June 17, 2023), and she was upbeat, friendly, open-minded, and just a wonderful photographer! She even traveled a bit of a distance to get to our venue (we got married on Fire Island, NY, which requires a ferry ride from Long Island). I adore her bride/groom portraits of us and will cherish them forever. Plus, she was also a total pro at corralling *everyone* in my extended family - even adding necessary creative direction - for larger group portraits. I couldn't have done any of this without her. She truly was a ray of sunshine, even through some stressful moments! For the reception/cocktail hour, Emilee managed to capture so many wonderful, candid moments with stunning composition. She made the most awkward subjects feel comfortable and at ease as she caught them laughing and enjoying one another's presence. Overall - I couldn't be happier with choosing her as our photographer for our wedding day. Truly so grateful and recommend her wholeheartedly to any couple seeking a photographer to capture their special day!
