Owned and operated by native New Yorkers with over 20 years experience in high end catering. We use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and are meticulous in our plating and presentation. We know how to cultivate the right atmosphere in any of the city’s spaces. Whether your event is in one of New York’s most beloved and iconic venues, or in your own living room, tell us what you have in mind, and then leave it to us! We know just what to do.

    Absolutely delicious food and even better service.

    We couldn't have had a better experience working with Nick and his team for our wedding welcome party. Nick is a true professional. Not only is he personable, but he cares deeply about creating the perfect spread for the occasion, catering to guest preferences, location/venue, and vibe. Nick worked calmly and diligently to curate a perfectly diverse menu that our guests raved about all evening and into the next day. He was also more than willing to work within our budget and did so with ease. We never felt pressured to spend beyond our means and also never felt that our budget would require us to compromise on guest experience. In fact, we were shocked at the delicious and abundant offerings we were able to serve our guests in light of our constraints. We also cannot say enough positive things about Nick's team, especially bartender, Miguel. Miguel ensured our guests were well taken care of all night, refilling drinks without being prompted to do so. Our guests commented many times about his professionalism and positive disposition, serving guests with a smile. We also, unexpectedly, extended our event by two hours because our guests were enjoying themselves so much and Miguel had no issues accommodating our last minute change. Finally, in addition to arriving on time (despite the sudden torrential downpour that struck the city an hour before Nick's team was due to arrive at the venue), Miguel cleaned the venue before leaving for the night, leaving it exactly as he found it. We highly recommend Nick's team for any event, big or small, and will absolutely use them again. The food was delicious and the service was delightful.

    Exceptional service!

    Just a Nibble was absolutely fantastic to work with. I looked into a bunch of different catering companies for my wedding, and Nick was the only one who really guided me through the process. It was such a relief. And then there was the food! Totally exquisite. My friends and family are still talking about it. Nick’s staff were so friendly and helpful. They took care of everything and really allowed me to just enjoy the day. Can’t wait to work with them for our next event.

    Delicious, organized, and thoughtful

    Excellent experience working with JAN for our wedding. Nick was such a star—so accommodating, professional, and communicative. The food was also wildly good, especially for a 200 person wedding. Guests were raving.

    Excellent full service company.

    Nicholas and Just a Nibble are the most professional planning and catering team I've worked with, and we work with many partners. From initial planning to event execution, Nick provides a seamless process through and through. I always recommend them!

    Just a Nibble is terrific!

    Just a Nibble is terrific! Nick has command of any situation that may occur and handles the unexpected with creativity and calm. He is an exceptional coordinator of staff, space, and time when planning these events, and takes on responsibilities with detail and thoroughness. Marc is an exceptional chef! He is creative, but knows what functionality works for a catered event. They did my daughter’s engagement shower. I was so impressed, now I have them catering all my private home events. Terrific food!

Our team will send you an initial quote based on your food, service, & rental needs, timing and guest count. Once you are comfortable with the proposed numbers, Chef Marc will create a custom menu to fit your event needs, style, & budget.
Every client has different preferences. Once we establish a custom menu and serving options we can then give an exact price. If you have a budget, we can work together to keep it within range.
Guest count, event date, event type (wedding, shower, corporate function, passed HD, seated dinner, ect), rental needs (we are happy to help figure that out for you if you aren’t sure yet), Venue/ location.
Our team coordinates all your rental needs including tables, chairs, linens, tabletop, bar service, back of house, & kitchen.
Once we’ve created the perfect menu, we'll schedule a tasting at our garden floor brownstone kitchen/venue, in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Tastings are $100.00-$150.00/pp based on how many dishes will be included. This amount is credited to your invoice when you book with us and if you sign a contract with us beforehand, we waive this fee.

For wedding season, we highly recommend at least 9 months in advance. We do, however, accommodate late wedding planners based on availability.
