Renegade Outpost is a full service event planning and chef services company. We've been in business for 7 years and have been working with Thumbtack. We have been hired more than 290 times and have 160 5-star reviews. We offer logistical services as well as day/of coordination and securing rentals. Our "rolodex" includes many of the best vendors for all your event needs. Making your job easier is our highest priority. Wonderful food always begins with amazing ingredients, especially produce. We source directly from local farmers, we work with an organic butcher, a wild fish monger and importers of select cheese and specialty products.

Food is the heart of every catered event. We work with you and curate the menu based on seasonal delicious produce, expert preparation and beautiful presentation. The produce inspires us and we often build a dish around the vegetables. From plated dinners to high end cocktail events... from chef-manned stations to grazing tables... from fundraisers and galas to weddings and themed events, we have the professional staff to ensure your event runs smoothly. We were inspired by Leanna and Jean's cultural backgrounds, Italian and Dominican respectively. Given that I am also of Sicilian/Cuban background, this allowed me to effortlessly create a bountiful menu combining both their cuisines

    Renegade Outpost Review Chef Ellen was really great to work with! From the start of our conversation to the wedding day, working with Renegade Outpost was an exceptional experience. Everyone raved about the food at our wedding! The appetizers were an early show stopper. Our favorites were the Cremini mushrooms & Jackfruit Mini Tacos - YUM! We had Latin style main entree, Pollo Guisado, which my husband absolutely loved. On top of the amazing food Chef Ellen was really fabulous to work with personally. She worked within my budget, made it easy to stay in touch, and I felt she had our best interest at heart. She was personable and gave us her honest options and opinions. She also helped us with the rentals we needed and finding a bar tender. I was very satisfied with our whole experience.

    Chef Ellen was absolutely incredible! She cooked a 3 course meal for a bachelorette party that I was throwing for my best friend. The food was delicious and Chef Ellen made the evening so fun! She was interactive and had us entertained all evening. I recommend her to anyone looking for a private chef.

    We hired chef Ellen/Renegade Outpost to provide all the food for my son's large engagement party in a cocktail lounge. They were so easy to deal with, unobtrusive when preparing and serving in a place that was not totally intended for such service, and everyone commented on how delicious and creative the food was! We felt very fortunate to have found them!

    Professional and Elegant We hired Chef Ellen after we reached an impasse with another caterer. She helped us put together wedding in a month's time, and I felt confident the whole time that she would be up to the task. The presentation and the service were great, and word is that everyone loved the food!
