Hello, my name is Julia. I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in Upstate New York, capturing love stories in a soft, natural and timeless way. Before photography became my full-time path, I studied architecture, which taught me to notice harmony in lines, balance in space and the quiet beauty of natural light. My approach is a mix of gentle guidance and documentary storytelling. I’ll guide you when needed, but I also give you space to be yourselves, so your photos feel real, relaxed and true to you.
I’m inspired by simple, beautiful things - soft light, blooming gardens, quiet moments and genuine connection between people. To me, photography is not just about how everything looks, but how it feels. My hope is that when you look back at your photos years from now, you’ll be able to feel those moments all over again.

WOW Julia!!! Thank you SO much for capturing our wedding so beautifully. The photos are absolutely stunning, exactly what we hoped for. We’ve already looked through them so many times and honestly could not be happier. Both Nicholas and I got emotional looking through the photos, especially the moments before the ceremony. Then we showed them to our families, and everyone was tearing up. I was a little nervous about having such intimate moments photographed, but you captured everything in such a natural and beautiful way, and now those memories feel frozen in time forever. You truly have an incredible talent, and we can’t thank you enough for giving us something we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.

Deeply personal wedding photography
Julia photographed our wedding in Skaneateles at the beginning of July last year, and we honestly couldn’t be happier. She was calm, kind, and just so easy to trust, which meant a lot on such a busy and emotional day. Wonderful wedding photographer!
We had a small, intimate wedding ceremony near Taughannock Falls, and Julia was such a wonderful photographer to work with. Excellent wedding photographer
It takes trust to pick a photographer who will be the one to capture so many important moments. We are so grateful that we decided to put our trust in Julia. We hired Julia to photograph our wedding this summer at Celebrations Banquet Facility in Caroline, NY (15 minutes away from Ithaca). A few days before the wedding she offered to bring Leo as well to assist her in taking photos and we said yes! Leading up to the wedding we were in touch with her about which shots, items, moments, and group photos we wanted to make sure were captured, when we look back on our wedding day years in the future. She and her Leo captured all of these shots and more, and we are so pleased with how Julia adapted her unique photography style to us and the unique aspects of our relationship, our ceremony, and our reception.
