Hawthorn Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. From the start, their communication style was easy, respectful and direct, which made planning the photography coverage a breeze. On the day of the wedding, Sarah from Hawthorn Photography was a calming presence, capturing genuine, fun and light-hearted moments throughout the celebration. My husband, who isn't usually one for photos, was quickly put at ease by Sarah's friendly demeanor, and we ended up with amazing pictures that truly captured the joy and love of our special day. We couldn't be happier with the quality of Hawthorn Photography's work and the exceptional value they provided. Highly recommended!

Hawthorn Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding! From the very first meeting, Sarah and Drew were so easy to talk to and we felt like we connected with them very quickly. They are very professional but do not make you feel pressured at all - Sarah has great ideas and really hypes you up throughout the process. Drew always found creative ways to shoot the day and Sarah was there for me every step of the way, even when I needed quick help with my dress. Sarah is so dependable and the pictures they captured showcase both of their talents and our love so well. I'd pick Hawthorn Photography for photos for every occasion and in every lifetime!

Sarah is someone that genuinely cares about you and the quality of the photos she will give you for your wedding day. She has a degree in photography and it shows! Her technical skill and creative eye are way above your average photographer. She excels in making you feel comfortable and delivers the final product in a timely manner. We can't say enough good things about Sarah! Her presence on wedding day was calm and supportive. She made us feel very comfortable and we're so pleased with how beautifully she captured our day! She clearly has experience photographing all different types of couples and weddings (traditional and not). She was flexible, gave us out of towners helpful suggestions, and had our first peak pics back to us the next day! Definitely hire her!

Where do I even begin? I knew Sarah was special from the very first moment I met her. (She and Drew love Lord of the Rings just as much as my husband and I. Our entire wedding was LOTR themed 😜) She was unbelievably kind and welcoming, inviting my husband, Scott, and me into her and her partner Drew’s home for dinner. That evening gave us the chance to thoughtfully walk through our wedding day, iron out details, and talk through timing and the types of photos that mattered most to us. From the start, her passion for photography—and for truly getting to know her couples—was so evident. I arrived that night confident she would take great care of us, but I left with something even more meaningful: a new friend. On our wedding day, Sarah supported me in more ways than she probably even realizes. She helped keep me calm, shared in the joy of our special day, and was there whenever I needed her. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine presence make her an incredible person, and her ability to find and capture beautiful, meaningful moments is what makes her such an exceptional photographer. And we can’t forget Drew. He was right there in the mix, finding unique angles and capturing special moments. Together, they gave us memories that will truly last a lifetime.
