Rob Spring Photography is a wedding photography company in Saratoga Springs, New York. They specialize in candid wedding day photography with a fun twist. With a mix of contemporary and traditional styles, this photographer captures all the details on the couple's special day. Having photographed over 600 weddings, Rob Spring Photography knows how to make couples feel comfortable in front of a camera, or even forget it’s there!

With our studio, you will receive a great deal of personal attention, yet have the entire studio here to support you throughout the entire booking, planning, wedding, and delivery process. It's the best of both worlds! We are also highly organized, ensuring your wedding day runs smoothly - resulting in genuine smiles and moments, and hundreds of beautiful photos to prove just how great your day was!

    The best photography team!

    Rob was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was so nice and funny and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. His assistant Diane was also incredible and they were both so on top of everything and did a fantastic job at gathering all the family members we needed throughout the day. Our guests were also blown away and said they were amazing - that's how great their energy was.They were such a vibe and it felt like they were part of the party rather than just our photographers. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to capture our wedding.. Could not recommend them more!

    The Perfect Photographer for Our Special Day!

    We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and videographer for our wedding! From the very beginning, Rob and his team were incredibly responsive throughout the planning process and made everything so easy. They were always willing to accommodate any ideas or photo requests we had and captured every moment beautifully. On our wedding day, Rob helped keep everything on schedule while making us feel completely at ease. Him and his team were so kind, supportive, and truly felt like another friend by our side throughout the day.     Absolutely fantastic wedding photos

    Rob and his team were fantastic to work with on our wedding day in late June! His team was so easy to plan with in advance, ensuring we got our shot list completed. Rob kept the energy high and fun throughout the day, with really great suggestions for poses and unique photos to take. He captured some truly memorable candids during our cocktail hour and the reception. We have been so impressed with the sneak peek photos so far, he perfectly captured the joy we felt all day.

    Dream Team

    Rob Spring and his team are the dream team. Rob is amazing and so fun to work with. He makes you feel comfortable and tells you exactly how to pose if thats what you need. The attention to detail he has is amazing. He looks for the smallest things like fixing a strand of hair or telling you to move your body a certain way to get the best angles. He communicates with the couple throughout the entire process and throughout your entire wedding day to ensure you get everything you want! I wouldn’t want to choose anyone else to have been a part of my special day. 12/10 work, communication and all the above.

    Best photography team ever

    If I could give Rob and his team 100 stars, I would. You spend more time with your photographer on your wedding day than with almost anyone besides your spouse, and that makes a huge difference. Rob and his team are exactly who you want by your side. They were so kind, so helpful, so calming, and just a joyful presence all day long. We needed a little help with posing, and Rob guided us in a way that felt completely natural. The shots he got are truly insane. We also had a huge wedding party (11 girls, 11 guys), and Rob and his team kept everyone organized and moving all day without missing a beat. I was seriously impressed that he even learned so many first names of our family and friends. Not to mention, every single vendor we worked with had nothing but great things to say about him. Our venue, The Erlowest, was gushing that we had booked Rob. He just gets along with everyone and clearly has an incredible reputation in the industry, and it shows in how smoothly everything ran. And the photos themselves? Incredible. We wanted true-to-color images, and wow, we'll just let the photos speak for themselves. Even during candid moments when we weren't posing, we honestly didn't notice Rob was there. If you're looking for a photographer for your wedding, book Rob.

We are somewhere in the middle between candid and posed – but the mantra that everyone in our studio follows is “Whatever it takes to keep you happy and comfortable.” If you are happy and comfortable, we will get amazing photos!! Sometimes making you happy means we need to shoot candid and leave you alone – and sometimes making you happy requires us to step in and let you know that if you turn your body to the left you will look like a goddess. You’d want to know that, right? 😉
Awww shucks. We love you and we love our 2nd photographers too! If we didn’t, we wouldn’t invite them to help photograph your wedding. We have a group of experienced second shooters who have been working for us for many years. Their primary purpose is to capture additional candid images, not photographing the family portrait – your primary photographer will do that for you and be your main point of contact. That said – they are all so talented and amazing and we love spending the day with them at your wedding.
ighting assistants help with every aspect of the wedding day except taking photos. In an emergency, they are all talented with a camera so they CAN help if absolutely necessary. More often than not, they are holding the bouquet to give your arms a break, fluffing your dress, changing camera lenses for me so I can keep shooting, moving light stands, and finding your aunt when we need her for a family photograph. Second photographers are photographers. Of course they will do whatever we need to make the day go smoothly, but their primary job is to photograph the day.
This varies from wedding to wedding, so if you have a small wedding with a small guest list, you will have fewer photos – maybe 500 total. If you have a 200 person guest list and everything is all in one location, you might have 800 photos. If you add a second photographer, you might have over 1,000. The important thing to take from this is that we do not limit the number of photos. We do narrow the photos down from the wedding day and take out any photos where someone is blinking or a guest walks in front of the camera. Rest assured, we give you all of the best shots from your wedding day.
We host a website that you can share with your friends and families, so that they can see all of your finished photos. They can purchase digital files or prints directly through the online gallery. We fulfill all orders that are made in the online gallery. Also, you will be able to download all of your high resolution wedding photos from this website as well. The link never expires!
