Rob Spring Photography is a wedding photography company in Saratoga Springs, New York. They specialize in candid wedding day photography with a fun twist. With a mix of contemporary and traditional styles, this photographer captures all the details on the couple's special day. Having photographed over 600 weddings, Rob Spring Photography knows how to make couples feel comfortable in front of a camera, or even forget it’s there!

With our studio, you will receive a great deal of personal attention, yet have the entire studio here to support you throughout the entire booking, planning, wedding, and delivery process. It's the best of both worlds! We are also highly organized, ensuring your wedding day runs smoothly - resulting in genuine smiles and moments, and hundreds of beautiful photos to prove just how great your day was!

    If we could give Dyan and the Rob Spring Photography team more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! From the very beginning, our experience with them was amazing, and we are so incredibly grateful we chose them to capture our wedding day. Photography was the first vendor I booked for our wedding, and I couldn't have been happier with our decision. The entire Rob Spring team was so wonderful throughout the planning process. They were so organized, responsive, and helpful, and they answered every question and email so quickly. They made everything leading up to the wedding feel easy and stress-free! Dyan was truly phenomenal on our wedding day. She was professional, organized, kind, and so easy to work with. She made us feel comfortable, listened to what we wanted, and did an incredible job capturing all of our favorite moments. She kept everything running so smoothly that we actually ended up ahead of schedule! We also received so many compliments from our wedding party and guests about how amazing Dyan was, which just reinforced how incredible she was to work with. We are absolutely OBSESSED with our photos! The quality is beyond beautiful, and we couldn't be happier with the previews we received.     So much fun!

    Rob brought so much energy and joy to our wedding day—he kept everyone laughing and made even the kids feel comfortable in front of the camera. His direction with the group shots was seamless.The candid moments he captured are stunning, and you can tell how much he cares about his work. We couldn't be happier with the final photos and would absolutely recommend him to any couple looking for a photographer who is both talented and genuinely fun to have around.

    The best.

    We are so lucky to have had Rob Spring photograph our wedding! We actually started with another photographer, which unfortunately turned into a nightmare. We had to break our contract due to a lack of responsiveness and professionalism. As you can imagine, wedding planning can be stressful enough, and after that experience, we were feeling pretty discouraged. Then we met Rob, and it was immediately obvious that he was going to be a great fit for us. Working with Rob was so easy because we had FUN. He has such a great personality, and it was hard not to smile around him. He made us feel comfortable and allowed us to just be ourselves, which made such a difference. He was everywhere all night long! Crouching down to get different angles, moving around to find the best light, and somehow managing all of the different personalities that come with a wedding. He is a true professional, and you can tell how much he loves what he does. His assistant, Dyan, was right there with him the entire time. She had the shot list, knew where she needed to be, and helped everything run smoothly. She even helped distract our 18-month-old niece and get her to smile, which was so appreciated! And the photos are stunning! Rob captured our day so beautifully while still letting us be ourselves and enjoy every moment. We could not be happier with how they turned out. After everything we went through with our first photographer, finding Rob was such a relief. He made the whole experience fun again, and we are so grateful he was there to capture our day. Highly, highly recommend Rob and Dyan!

    The best photography team!

    Rob was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was so nice and funny and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. His assistant Diane was also incredible and they were both so on top of everything and did a fantastic job at gathering all the family members we needed throughout the day. Our guests were also blown away and said they were amazing - that's how great their energy was.They were such a vibe and it felt like they were part of the party rather than just our photographers. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to capture our wedding.. Could not recommend them more!

We are somewhere in the middle between candid and posed – but the mantra that everyone in our studio follows is “Whatever it takes to keep you happy and comfortable.” If you are happy and comfortable, we will get amazing photos!! Sometimes making you happy means we need to shoot candid and leave you alone – and sometimes making you happy requires us to step in and let you know that if you turn your body to the left you will look like a goddess. You’d want to know that, right? 😉
Awww shucks. We love you and we love our 2nd photographers too! If we didn’t, we wouldn’t invite them to help photograph your wedding. We have a group of experienced second shooters who have been working for us for many years. Their primary purpose is to capture additional candid images, not photographing the family portrait – your primary photographer will do that for you and be your main point of contact. That said – they are all so talented and amazing and we love spending the day with them at your wedding.
ighting assistants help with every aspect of the wedding day except taking photos. In an emergency, they are all talented with a camera so they CAN help if absolutely necessary. More often than not, they are holding the bouquet to give your arms a break, fluffing your dress, changing camera lenses for me so I can keep shooting, moving light stands, and finding your aunt when we need her for a family photograph. Second photographers are photographers. Of course they will do whatever we need to make the day go smoothly, but their primary job is to photograph the day.
This varies from wedding to wedding, so if you have a small wedding with a small guest list, you will have fewer photos – maybe 500 total. If you have a 200 person guest list and everything is all in one location, you might have 800 photos. If you add a second photographer, you might have over 1,000. The important thing to take from this is that we do not limit the number of photos. We do narrow the photos down from the wedding day and take out any photos where someone is blinking or a guest walks in front of the camera. Rest assured, we give you all of the best shots from your wedding day.
We host a website that you can share with your friends and families, so that they can see all of your finished photos. They can purchase digital files or prints directly through the online gallery. We fulfill all orders that are made in the online gallery. Also, you will be able to download all of your high resolution wedding photos from this website as well. The link never expires!
