With 15 years specializing in makeup and hair, every look is tailored to celebrate you. My promise is that I treat my clients as if it were my own wedding. While you gaze into the mirror looking your best, you are going to feel pampered and relaxed. My style is versatile to meet your needs. Think romantic, natural, ethereal, modern or elegant with a vintage nod. My team and I proudly serve and support LGBTQ/BIPOC 🏳️‍🌈 / Travel ready for destination weddings worldwide.

    Melissa Formica did the hair and makeup for my sister’s wedding several years ago and my whole family was just so impressed when I finally became engaged it was an obvious choice who I was going to use for my own hair and makeup. Melissa did the hair and makeup for my engagement photos, church ceremony, and civil ceremony. It’s been almost a year now and I still can’t stop looking at my pictures. Everything was exactly how I wanted it. Furthermore Melissa’s team was professional, on time, and just lovely.

    Working with Melissa Formica was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She was incredibly accommodating for my trial—coming to my home, walking me through every product she used, and offering thoughtful suggestions for my everyday beauty routine. I immediately felt comfortable with her and genuinely enjoyed getting to know her. On the wedding day, Melissa arrived promptly and brought the calmest, most positive energy into the room. She handled makeup and hair for me (including lashes and extensions), plus both MOB and MOG glam, and even a groom’s touch-up. She kept us perfectly on schedule, made the morning feel fun and relaxed, and delivered beautiful, polished looks for everyone. One of the highlights was having her stay through the ceremony for touch-ups—she kept all of us feeling confident, refreshed, and photo-ready while blending seamlessly into the flow of the day.     Melissa was my hair and makeup stylist for my October 2025 wedding, and I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about her. From the moment she arrived, she brought such calm, positive energy—it felt like having one of my closest friends by my side. She’s so easy to talk to and truly made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself. Melissa went above and beyond in every possible way. She didn’t just make sure my hair and makeup were perfect—she helped me into the car while it was raining, fluffed my dress train right before I walked down the aisle, and even took my furbaby for a quick walk before she left so we didn’t have to worry. Those thoughtful little things meant so much to me and my family. My mom and grandma couldn’t stop raving about how lovely she was! Having Melissa there on my wedding day was such a blessing. She’s professional, kind, and genuinely cares about her brides—it shows in everything she does. I’ll absolutely be hiring her again and recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will make you look and feel amazing inside and out. One more tip: Definitely do a bridal trial with her! I loved my look at the trial, but somehow on the wedding day she made me feel even more stunning. She’s truly the best.

    I am so grateful to Melissa for her kindness, professionalism, and beautiful work on our wedding day. During the makeup trials for both myself and my mom, she was incredibly patient and truly listened to our requests in how we wanted to look that day. I have a very specific daily eyeliner look that I was hoping to incorporate, and my mom rarely wears makeup. Melissa created looks for us that we were so happy with. On the day of the wedding, she and her team brought such a cheerful energy to the getting-ready process for us and my bridal party, even when our schedule fell behind and we had to change hotel rooms. In that time, she met my husband and even used the moment to give him some makeup too, which he greatly appreciated! Having her throughout the day was a huge help in making sure we still looked our best for the ceremony after hours of photos.
