Lissa Schneckenburger

Raised in a small town in Maine and now living in Vermont, Lissa grew up with music. She began playing fiddle at the age of six, inspired by her mother's interest in folk music. By the time she was in high school Lissa was playing concerts on her own, specializing in music from the Celtic nations. In 2001 she graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music with a degree in Contemporary Improvisation and has been performing world wide ever since. Whether playing interpretations of ancient or contemporary music, Lissa brings enthusiasm and energy to every event.

Lissa plays a wide variety of folk, classical, fiddle, jazz, and acoustic music. She would love to put together the perfect band of any size and instrumentation for your perfect day.
