Husband and wife duo, The Poor Cousins, combine intimate, nourishing songs and gutsy tunes in an easy-going style. Patrick Ross is a Vermont, VT-based professional who is first and foremost a musician. He has worked over 500 weddings over 20 years. He is a professional violin, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, cello, viola, ukulele and guitar player as well as a vocalist. I have been doing music at mass, and for weddings and funerals for several years. I am a retired pharmacist living in Williston Vermont. I play acoustic guitar. primarily finger picking and sing hymns and songs approved for Catholic wedding ceremonies. I have equipment to play in any location even if electric power is not available. The Funk Collection began its powerhouse line up of party music in The Sugarbush Vermont resort area in 1998. Rocking Vermont ski areas, street dances, functions, festivals and clubs with an unusual collection of funk and rock music that generate dance grooves that appeal to everyone. The band has grown a style of music improvisation known throughout the state with its members who have performed together for decades. This experience together creates tight performances and dance grooves every party.
