    Amazing day, amazing DJ!

    Kyle was the best to work with! He communicated with us throughout the process of planning our wedding day and gave us so many helpful tips and advice. The vibe of the dance floor was so important for us because we wanted our guests to have and unforgettable time and we also wanted to enjoy our day. Kyle did not disappoint! We gave him a sample of songs and Kyle took it from there, playing exactly what the crowd wanted to hear all night. Our dance floor was packed the whole time!!

    So grateful for Vara!

    If I could give Vara DJs more than five stars, I absolutely would! From the very beginning of the planning process, Cody went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect. He regularly checked in with us through text messages just to see how we were doing, offered help whenever we needed it, and made us feel completely supported throughout the entire planning process. During our reception, he even checked on us personally and brought us drinks—such a thoughtful gesture that truly shows how much he cares about his couples. One of the biggest things Vara DJs did for us was help find an organist and singer for our wedding Mass after we found out all of our church's organists were unavailable. It was an incredible relief, and we are so grateful they were able to make it happen. The planning process was seamless, with multiple planning calls to make sure every detail was covered. Their online planning app made choosing all of our music so easy and organized, which took so much stress out of the process. On the wedding day, Cody absolutely nailed it. The music kept everyone on the dance floor all night, and we received countless compliments from our guests about how amazing the DJ was. We also added the photo booth, and it ended up being one of the biggest hits of the night! Vara DJs exceeded every expectation we had. Their professionalism, communication, attention to detail, and genuine care for their couples are unmatched. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ company, and I can't recommend Vara DJs—and especially Cody—highly enough!

    Amazing wedding with DJ Scott

    Scott was an amazing DJ for our wedding at Ventosa Vineyards in Geneva,NY. He was so helpful and knowledgeable during the planning process and on the day off he believed a great MC performance and the dance floor was packed all night long. Multiple people told us after they hadn’t been to a wedding in a long time with so many people dancing so long into the night. Would highly highly recommend Scott as your wedding DJ!!!

    Amazing DJ - Highly Recommend

    Music/DJ selection was one of the most exciting and important aspects of wedding planning for my fiancé and I. We wanted to be sure that the person we selected would not only play the right music to keep everyone dancing, but also have the personality to interact with the crowd just the right amount, as well as include other details that were important to us, like a photobooth, cold sparks, and a live musician. We are so grateful to have found all of that with Wyatt in Empire State Events. From our first email conversation, Wyatt was responsive and professional. His initial presentation regarding services and offerings was thorough and professional, and he was more than willing to answer any of our questions over the next few weeks as we made our decision. Additionally, he was extremely accommodating in working with us to build a custom package that fit our needs and wants. As we planned our wedding over the next several months, Wyatt stayed in touch with helpful reminders and tips via email to keep us on track in the planning process. As we got closer to our wedding date, the VIBO app made the song-selection process extremely smooth. The app is user-friendly, and it walked us through every single part of our day, offering countless song options and versions for us to choose from (as well as providing the option for us to input our own). Wyatt was even extremely accommodating with using a custom file personally made for us by a friend. We truly cannot recommend Wyatt and his team enough if you are looking for a fantastic DJ and team for your special day!

Absolutely. It's your party and we want to make sure your guests have fun. And don't worry, we filter requests to make sure they fit the vibe we discussed.
Absolutely. We believe knowing what not to play is just as important as knowing what to play. We treat your "Do Not Play" list as gospel. If you hate a specific song/genre/artist, you won't hear them at your wedding. Period.
We believe in being "Event Hosts," not "Game Show Hosts." We make necessary announcements clearly and professionally to keep the flow moving, but we never make the night about us. We avoid cheesy jokes and excessive chatter. We let the music do the talking.
Yes! We don't just assign a random person to your date. We pair you with a DJ from our team who matches your style and personality. You will have meetings with your specific DJ to build a relationship and ensure they understand your vision inside and out before the big day. You have the final say about who's assigned to your wedding.
2-3 hours before guests are set to arrive our team will arrive onsite to begin setup. This gives us plenty of time to ensure everything is perfect!
