    Best D*mn band in the land

    Clockwork Boston was absolutely phenomenal at our July 4th wedding. From start to finish, they delivered the best dance party we could have ever imagined. We've received countless compliments from our guests about the band, and it's easy to see why—the musicians are incredibly talented and brought amazing energy all night long. They truly curated the perfect playlist for us, including songs that resonated with our Costa Rican family, which made the celebration feel unique and inclusive for everyone. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end, and the music played a huge role in making the night unforgettable. We will never forget the best night of our lives, and Clockwork was a major reason why it was so special. We cannot recommend them highly enough for anyone looking for an exceptional wedding band. Thank you for everything!

    Best wedding band ever!

    We hired Clockwork Boston for our wedding at Mount Hope Farm's Cove Cabin in Bristol, RI, on June 27, 2026, and they absolutely exceeded every expectation. If there was one thing our guests couldn't stop talking about, it was the band! In addition to being incredibly talented musicians, the band was so flexible throughout the evening. When dinner ran late, our timeline changed and they graciously played straight through without taking a break. They handled the adjustment seamlessly, and everything felt effortless from our perspective. One of the most meaningful moments of the night was a special dedication to my mom. The band learned a song for us on short notice, and I was blown away by how beautifully they performed it. They also found the perfect moment to incorporate it into the evening, making it feel completely natural. It's a memory our family will cherish forever. The MCing was outstanding and kept the evening flowing smoothly without ever feeling overdone. So many guests also commented on how much they loved the music during cocktail hour and dinner—it set the perfect tone before the dance floor opened up. And I have to give a special shoutout to the guitarist, who absolutely brought the energy. I'll never forget everyone singing along to "Don't Stop Believin'" with him. It was one of the highlights of the entire night. If you're looking for a wedding band that is exceptionally talented, professional, adaptable, and knows how to keep a dance floor packed, I recommend Clockwork Boston without hesitation. They were a huge part of what made our wedding so memorable, and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat

    Book them NOW!!

    We couldn't have been happier with Clockwork Boston! They performed at our wedding on June 12, 2026, and absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, their communication was outstanding—they were responsive, organized, and made the entire planning process incredibly easy and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, they brought amazing energy, sounded phenomenal, and kept the dance floor packed all night.     Absolutely amazing band!

    I wanted to share just how thrilled we were with the band’s performance at my daughter’s wedding. From the very first song to the final encore, the energy and talent they brought to the evening were simply outstanding. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how incredible the music was, and it was clear from the packed dance floor that everyone was having an amazing time!     Amazing Wedding Band!

    Clockwork East was fantastic! Greg was a great communicator from the very beginning and really brought the energy on our wedding night. We had many guests tell us how much they loved the band and we really enjoyed having them. They played exactly the types of songs we talked about and sounded great. We would recommend them to anyone! We will learn it! Or we can play the actual recording for you to dance to. Dancing to the recording is quite common, and for a lot of couples it removes those "first dance jitters" because they know exactly how it’s going to sound (and quite often they’ve been practicing dancing to the recording). Honestly, you won't offend us in the least if you ask us to "DJ" your first dance!
Most wedding receptions are 5 hours long: 1 hour for cocktails, and 4 hours for the reception (dinner and dancing), and there’s a reason for that. A four-hour reception seems to be the right amount of time to create a very fun atmosphere, to get everyone dancing, and have the energy peak before people get too tired. Keep in mind that after dinner, there is continuous high-energy music until the end of the reception.
During a 4-hour reception, we take two breaks. The first is during dinner when the main course is being served. After dinner we play two dance sets, and bridge the gap between these two sets with the high-energy DJ set (about 15 minutes in length).
Yes. In fact, you can put together your own custom playlist specifying exactly which songs are to be played during each break. Just give us a list, and we'll put it together! Or you can rely on us to put together a great mix to "DJ" the breaks.
No. We perform only one event each day, thereby giving each event our undivided attention. Furthermore, you will never be charged a penalty or extra stipend if your reception happens to be during “crossover” times (from late afternoon into early evening).
Getting your guests to the dance floor and keeping them there is our number one goal; isn’t that why you hire a band in the first place? Having performed at so many weddings in the past, we have a good sense as to which songs to pick to get people on the dance floor. Once the dancing has started, we string songs together into medleys (so there’s not that awkward “dead air” in between songs), gradually building the energy from one song to the next.
Each of our bands is a dedicated lineup of vocalists and musicians that always perform together. There are some other companies out there that are a pool of musicians, where they piece together bands with a rotating roster; that is not our business model at all. All Clockwork bands are virtual mirror images of one another in terms of instrumentation, and they all play a very similar set of music, with the goal of playing songs that have a proven track record of always packing the dance floor. Pricing is the same for each band, and all our bands play any venue throughout New England.
Don't feel that you need to spend a lot of time picking out songs. Our number 1 goal is to play songs that are going to pack the dance floor right up to the end of the reception, and to create an atmosphere that your guests will be raving about for months following your wedding; I’m sure that’s your goal as well. Honestly, if you leave it up to us, your wedding is going to be an over-the-top smash! That said, we’re definitely open to your ideas. If you would like to send a list of a few songs/artists/styles that you really want played, feel free. We can then combine the band’s expertise with your requests to create a great play list.
