Clockwork East Coast performed at our daughter's wedding in Vermont on June 28, 2025. One word: WOW! The band was AMAZING! We could not have had a better band or a better experience. On a scale of 1-10, we give them an 11. Greg came out and danced and sang with the audience. They even let me play in for a couple of songs. We added the extra horns and percussion, which made the sound even "bigger." Our guests said, "Best band they have ever heard at a wedding." Ron, the owner of Clockwork, and Greg were a pleasure to work with!

Greg and Clockwork were incredible. They kept the party going all night, came out on the floor and danced, had fun with us, and all around put on and one of a kind show. Our friends and guests are still talking about them. We could not recommend them more!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Clockwork Boston play at our daughter’s wedding (6.27.25) in Gloucester, MA and we honestly can’t stop talking about how incredible they were. From the first note to the last dance our guests were on their feet, smiling, dancing, and singing along. Their energy is electric, their talent is top-tier, and they absolutely nailed the vibe we were hoping for. You could tell they cared just as much as we did about creating unforgettable memories. If you want a band that will bring the party to life and leave a lasting impression, Clockwork Boston is it!

After attending a friend’s wedding where Clockwork was performing, my now-wife and I knew we had to consider them when deciding between a DJ or a live band. The energy they brought to that event left such a strong impression that when it came time to make the call for our own wedding, choosing Clockwork was an absolute no-brainer. At both weddings, Clockwork brought an electric energy that was completely contagious, every guest felt it. The lead singer had an incredible presence and even recognized us as we prepared for our first dance / introduction. He was genuinely excited to be part of our celebration, remembering us as guests from their initial performance. Every member of the group from the singers, musicians, DJ, all poured their heart and soul into the performance. From the very first song, there wasn’t a dull moment. The team was a dream to work with: responsive, collaborative, and flexible. They also went above and beyond to accommodate specific versions of songs from different artists and sources. They truly helped bring my wife’s vision for our wedding to life. Bonus points: during the iconic “Mr. Brightside,” the lead singer tapped me (the groom) on the shoulder, handed me the mic, and invited me on stage to sing with my best man. Sensing my excitement and maybe my mild buzz, it became one of the most unforgettable moments of the night and honestly, my entire wedding. You can’t go wrong with Clockwork. They impressed us at a friend’s wedding and absolutely delivered on the biggest day of our lives. Yes, everyone says that about their wedding but months later, our guests are still raving about how much fun they had dancing the night away. Our wedding was in April. They deserve every bit of a 5-star review, across the board.

We will learn it! Or we can play the actual recording for you to dance to. Dancing to the recording is quite common, and for a lot of couples it removes those "first dance jitters" because they know exactly how it’s going to sound (and quite often they’ve been practicing dancing to the recording). Honestly, you won't offend us in the least if you ask us to "DJ" your first dance!

Most wedding receptions are 5 hours long: 1 hour for cocktails, and 4 hours for the reception (dinner and dancing), and there’s a reason for that. A four-hour reception seems to be the right amount of time to create a very fun atmosphere, to get everyone dancing, and have the energy peak before people get too tired. Keep in mind that after dinner, there is continuous high-energy music until the end of the reception.

During a 4-hour reception, we take two breaks. The first is during dinner when the main course is being served. After dinner we play two dance sets, and bridge the gap between these two sets with the high-energy DJ set (about 15 minutes in length).

Yes. In fact, you can put together your own custom playlist specifying exactly which songs are to be played during each break. Just give us a list, and we'll put it together! Or you can rely on us to put together a great mix to "DJ" the breaks.

No. We perform only one event each day, thereby giving each event our undivided attention. Furthermore, you will never be charged a penalty or extra stipend if your reception happens to be during “crossover” times (from late afternoon into early evening).

Getting your guests to the dance floor and keeping them there is our number one goal; isn’t that why you hire a band in the first place? Having performed at so many weddings in the past, we have a good sense as to which songs to pick to get people on the dance floor. Once the dancing has started, we string songs together into medleys (so there’s not that awkward “dead air” in between songs), gradually building the energy from one song to the next.
