For more than a decade, I've filmed weddings with a documentary mindset: Two Films. One Wedding Day. A cinematic film to tell the story, a documentary film to preserve the day. Based in Indianapolis and available throughout the Midwest and across the country.

Some of the best moments at a wedding are the ones nobody planned. A dad making his daughter laugh during their first dance. A quiet conversation while getting ready. The way your friends act when they forget there’s a camera around. Those are the moments I’m always looking for. My approach is intentionally unobtrusive and documentary-driven, with a mix of cinematic footage, camcorder, and Super 8 to create something that feels polished without losing the personality and imperfection of the day. Because years from now, it might be the moments you didn’t know you’d want to remember that mean the most.

Above and Beyond: A Wedding Video to Treasure
Mitchell Gaston Films truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. From the very beginning, Mitchell’s dedication and professionalism shone through. He held multiple Zoom meetings with me, ensuring every detail was tailored perfectly to my vision.
