About Sweet Lime Photography
Sweet Lime Photography
Oh... hello. You made it. That's nice. This won't take long, if you poke around a bit you'll probably find what you're looking for. There are some photos, some words... and hopefully they help you decide if I'm the right person to document your wedding. I like to photograph moments that happen naturally, without too much fuss. If you're into that-if you're ok with a little wind in your hair, or a cake that leans slightly to the left-then maybe we'd get along just fine.
True documentary-style wedding photography is not very posed. It's relaxed. You get to be yourself, and I do my best to catch that. So if you're looking for someone to stick around quietly, capturing things as they happen... well, that's kind of my whole deal. You've read this far, which probably means you have good instincts. And patience. That's my picture on the left. Up top if you're looking at this on your phone. Underneath it, there are links to my Instagram and website. You can explore at your own pace. Or don't. Loy was such a great photographer to work with. Not only does he bring a super relaxed and chill vibe to the party, he’s a seasoned professional who snaps stellar photos! We loved his style of photography & looking back at the photos, I couldn’t imagine having gone with another photographer. He really captured the vibe of our day. He gave us guidance when we needed it (mainly things like ‘relax’ & ‘be in the moment’ which was so great to hear). We can’t say enough great things about him, thanks Loy!
Incredible experience
Working with Loy was by far one of the easiest parts of our wedding experience. If you're looking for a relaxed experience and a unique photography style that doesn't look like every other wedding photo out there this is your guy! We were able to meet with Loy multiple times and he truly captured the memories of our day without all of the posing, timelines, and chaos. He even sent us some sneak peek photos the day after the event (which was totally unexpected) and they were beautiful! We are eagerly awaiting the full gallery. I highly recommend taking a look at Sweet Lime Photography's portfolio!
Talbot Micro Wedding 10/10
Sweet Lime Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very start, Loy was direct, concise, and thoroughly professional in their communication style. Their work is truly eclectic, with a focus on capturing the "real moments" of our special day. Loy was incredibly patient, even when I lost our wedding vows and my husband took the blame - Loy was quick to provide photographic evidence of me holding them as we walked back! On the day of the wedding, Loy even went above and beyond, completely redoing our photo setup from indoors to outdoors while I was busy getting ready, which was a huge help since I wouldn't have had the time to do it myself. We are thrilled with the quality and value of the photos from Sweet Lime Photography, and we highly recommend him to any couple planning their wedding. Capturing More Than Moments
From the moment we met Erika and Loy for our engagement shoot, we knew we had found something special. They made two self-proclaimed awkward people feel totally at ease in front of the camera. It didn’t feel like posing—it felt like laughing, dancing, and being fully ourselves, all while they worked their magic. The photos captured not just how we looked, but who we are. We walked away from that session with more than beautiful images—we walked away with memories. Fast forward to our wedding day, and they absolutely blew us away. Our friends and family keep raving about the photos: “absolutely stunning,” “so artsy,” “journalistic,” “soulful,” and “hilarious and beautiful at the same time.” The photos brought the emotion of the day flooding back—joy, intimacy, hilarity, and everything in between. Every little detail, every fleeting look, every big, beautiful moment—it’s all there. They somehow captured the energy of the day, not just the visuals. We’ve gone through the gallery more times than we can count, and each time we see something new to love. From my dad’s emotional first look to the spontaneous dance floor chaos to those quiet moments between us in Adirondack chairs—it’s all so genuine and full of heart. Working with Erika and Loy wasn’t just hiring photographers—it was inviting two incredibly talented, kind, and charismatic humans into some of the most important moments of our lives. We can’t imagine having had anyone else there with us. If you’re considering them—do it. Truly, 10 out of 10.
