Spinner Music Productions was founded in 2002 by a suburban Boston kid with a dream. A dream to stay away from the typical 9 to 5 work week and far, far away from a cubicle. A dream to enjoy working while experiencing all that life has to offer, specifically life’s greatest moments. What started out as a backyard DJ company has grown into an industry-recognized award-winning Team of entertainment professionals living out that very dream.

Attention to detail - in weddings it's the SMALL details that make the BIGGEST differences. SMP recognizes this imperative fact and works closely with each couple to personalize every detail and maximize the emotional impact of every moment.

David and his team at Black Diamond were absolutely incredible! I’ve never been to a wedding where the DJ got so many compliments—our guests couldn’t stop raving about him. He read the room perfectly, keeping the vibe fun and upbeat early in the evening, and then seamlessly transitioning into a full-blown club experience just like we asked. What really sets this company apart is how well they prepare. Their website asks thoughtful, detailed questions ahead of time, which made the day-of experience completely stress-free. They truly tailored everything to our vision and crowd (ranging from 30 to 60-year-olds), and the result was a packed dance floor all night long. I would choose David and the Black Diamond team again in a heartbeat. They helped make our wedding unforgettable!

Black Diamond is everything you could want for your wedding day: organized, knowledgeable, and FUN! We worked with David for our planning and every single call we left feeling so excited because he completely understood our vision. We never doubted that our wedding day would run smoothly and be a blast because of him. He provided valuable feedback and found a way to make all of our ideas work seamlessly. Gavin was our DJ on our wedding night and did an awesome job keeping people on the dance floor, even when it was extremely warm inside and beautiful outside. Special shoutout to Rich (sax) and Campo (violin) who are extremely talented. Campo played beautifully during our ceremony and kept our guessed entertained during cocktail hour. Rich walked around during dinner interacting with guests who loved every second of it. He also gave it his all during the dance floor, even leading my guests through the venue in a conga line. Our wedding was the best night of our lives, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible team at Black Diamond — DJ, Mikey, and James! They brought our vision to life and brought the energy! From the ceremony to the very last song at the reception, they executed everything flawlessly. The music was spot-on, the lighting was stunning, and the dance floor was packed all night long. What really stood out was how genuinely invested they were in making sure we had the best night ever. DJ, Mikey, and James were a dream to work with—professional, responsive, and completely in tune with what we wanted. If you have a request, they’ll make it happen, no questions asked. We truly can’t recommend them enough. If you're looking for a team that will go above and beyond to make your big day unforgettable, Black Diamond is it. 100/10 experience!

DJ David Buono was AMAZING. He is a true professional, but also makes you feel like a friend. He wanted the best for our wedding day and was determined to make it happen. The entire team at Black Diamond is incredibly thorough, diligent, and just heaven for a type A bride :) Could not recommend them MORE!
