Photography truly has a full grip on my soul– I love EVERYTHING about capturing special moments to be forever held in time! I consider my style to be way more candid, as I truly adore capturing an authentic experience that is almost tangible to the person viewing the photo. I want the viewer to feel the emotion and as if they were there with us right back in that moment. I love realness of a perfect candid shot…my goal—especially with couples—is to get to the heart of their connection and connect with my couples, as well, to truly make them feel comfortable in front of the lens so that we can get to those authentic magic shots!

Spending a little extra time and going above and beyond to make the day truly memorable and special is something I really love to do and strive to leave sessions beyond memorable! I truly believe in doing anything I can to make your day less stressful. I am more than just your photographer-- I usually end up being a coordinator, organizer, middle man, best friend and therapist. I tend to leave sessions and weddings with friends for life and wouldn't have it any other way. I also have a team of trained and trusted associates to offer my couples as an option if I'm not available on your day, or you are on a tighter budget! :)

    Elopement Photography

    Shannon was phenomenal! She captured our intimate elopement so beautifully and was a dream to work with. She helped my visions come to life and helped be prepared for everything the day through our way. We will forever be grateful for her and the wonderful photos she captured and edited for us!

    Zion National Park

    Shannon and her friends are AMAZING. We had our wedding during the shutdown and we were planing to get married in a National park. With the uncertainty of the shut down they recommend other venues just incase. Thankfully everything went to plan with the OG idea. They answered any question I had and just made the day run so smooth. She and her team are so awesome. Went above and beyond even hiked for us. Thank you for everything.

    Hotel Luna Mystica wedding

    Shannon and moontide were awesome! She was available for calls before the actual day and helped scout a spot for our first look. She totally respected what we were looking for and was really efficient with pictures so we could spend time celebrating with our friends and family! We would totally recommend her for any wedding.

    Absolutely Phenomenal!

    Shannon was absolutely perfect! She made our wedding day truly special. She was attentive, professional, clear and concise, and so well prepared for the day. She eased my stress and took a load off my shoulders when I was worrying about all of the small details. Not to mention she saved me with eye drops when I got an eyelash in my eye and looked like I had pink eye 30 minutes before having to walk down the aisle. Not to mention, she had a gallery of nearly 100 photos for us as sneak peeks sent in two weeks, when she had two other weddings on her books within a week of mine. It was truly a wonderful experience to work with her!!

We have a 25% retainer (of whichever package you choose) and the rest of the package is due 30 days prior to event. However, clients are more than welcome to make payments leading up to that final due date! Everything is done through my client portal for ease and your invoice updates in real time so you can see anhy payments reflected.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my many years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my team members under my umbrella. In the even RARER ase they are unavailable, I'll do everything I can to use my network of highly trusted and professional colleagues to contract to make sure you're covered! I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Yes! I have 4 videographers that work under my umbrella that I have combined packages with and can offer incredible quality and competitive pricing.
Typically, couples book me about 8-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. However, desirable dates like Saturdays ion October or April tend to book up 12-18 months in advance so if you are during a really busy month/season, be sure to book those vendors ASAP!
