About this venue
Willowdale Estate is a private mansion, just 30-miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. Located within a 720-acre state forest, and along the pristine Ipswich River. Our private estate is the perfect setting for a New England wedding ceremony and reception. Our coordination team and catering staff will execute your plan with grace, leaving you free to enjoy the party and mix with your guests. At Willowdale Estate, we host two wedding seasons. Our Tent Season from May-October is perfect for parties between 125-240 guests, and our Mansion Season from November-April is better suited for smaller parties between 80-125 guests inside our Estate. As you search for a venue, we would love to hear from you! We can send open dates, host a tour of our space, or create a quote for you. Tent Events (Mansion, Tent, and Garden)
Your once-in-a-lifetime celebration deserves a one-of-a-kind setting.
Tent Season events include our private mansion, garden, and Sperry Tent. Guests enjoy the historic character of our estate, the beauty of our Garden Courtyard with a variety of flowering plants and trees, as well as, multiple access points to the mansion. Dinner and dancing are hosted under our Sperry Tent. Our restaurant-style catering is prepared on-site by the Willowdale Estate catering team, and we include support from on-site event coordinators.

- Bistro lights along the perimeter of the tent, with lanterns on the spruce center poles - Covered walkway connecting the tent and the mansion - Dining, cocktail, and café tables, and garden chairs - Tent heaters and fans available for use as needed; the Estate is air-conditioned and heated - Parking attendants - Three private hospitality suites for use during your event - Dance floor, courtyard bistro lights, and other custom features can be added (additional pricing will apply)
Mansion Events
Easy to plan, impossible to forget.
Events in the mansion (November - April) include full use of the main floor of the estate, with access to three private suites on the second floor for getting ready. Indoor events are cozy and romantic with warm wood tones of the house, festive, and lights. We are happy to incorporate personal touches that keep our century-old mansion vibrant, dynamic, and full of life. Our mansion features leaded stained glass windows, stone fireplaces, and intricate wood molding.

The wedding of our dreams!
Our wedding at Willowdale Estate was absolutely incredible, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, the staff was professional, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. A special thank you to our coordinator, Jeannine, who was outstanding. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and always one step ahead, making sure every detail was taken care of. Her calm, reassuring presence made the entire planning process and wedding day completely stress free. She and the entire Willowdale team were also wonderful to work with alongside all of our chosen vendors, making sure everyone was coordinated and everything came together seamlessly. The food was exceptional, and our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! Every aspect of the day reflected Willowdale Estate's incredible attention to detail, from the beautiful setup to the seamless execution of the event. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy every moment. If you're looking for a venue with stunning grounds, amazing food, and a staff that truly cares about creating a flawless experience, we can't recommend Willowdale Estate highly enough. Best Wedding Venue Ever!!
If you’re looking for the perfect wedding venue, look no further! My husband and I got married at Willowdale on 6/14/26 and it was the best day ever! From the food (especially the cookies), to the staff, to the vibes, Willowdale has it all. We have heard nothing but great things from our guests. We opted for their planning package and worked with Julia D’Agostino to put together our wedding. Julia helped ease every anxiety we had. She was so thorough and organized with everything. If you work with Julia, just know that you are in great hands! I highly recommend booking the Coach House suite as a getting ready area for the bride and bridesmaids! It was such a fun time hanging out before the craziness of the day started. Ethan, our Coach House Assistant that day, made sure we had everything we need, brought stuff over to the venue for us, and even drove us in a golf cart to the main venue! Overall, we have nothing but great things to say about Willowdale and wish we could re-live our wedding day over and over again!!

LOVE The Willowdale Estate & its team!!!
We are so thankful for Jordan and the entire Willowdale Estate team for helping to coordinate and run the most incredible wedding for us. We first fell in love with Willowdale Estate when we first toured thanks in particular to Anna Schirripa who walked us through the property, including the getting ready spaces, beautiful ceremony courtyard, cocktail space and of course the tent for reception. We could see early on that Willowdale could accomplish the vision we were looking for. Anna then followed up by mailing us their famous chocolate chip cookies which helped seal the deal! Anna’s thoughtfulness and responsiveness to all of our questions (rain plan, food options, wheelchairs accessibility, vendors, etc.) gave us the confidence that Willowdale Estate was the right venue for us and we could not have been more correct. Working with Jordan in the weeks leading up to our Wedding day, we could tell she was the perfect person to help us stay calm and present during our wedding day. She was responsive to all of our questions and helped us plan and execute the exact timeline we were looking for. On our wedding day, Jordan helped keep us calm when there was a chance of rain and helped our guests stay dry when there was a sunshower five minutes before our ceremony was set to start. She and the Willowdale Estate team immediately ensured our guests were dry with umbrellas and moved folks inside and then back into seats again in the courtyard within ten minutes and our ceremony started right on time and never missed a beat. Throughout the cocktail hour Jordan ensured that we had food brought to our suite so we could actually eat and then made sure our night flowed perfectly. Our guests continue to rave about the food at our wedding and were so impressed with the team throughout the entire evening. We absolutely recommend Willowdale Estate to anyone looking for a wedding venue!!!

The team was responsive and thoughtful throughout the entire planning process, always ready to answer our questions and help us bring our vision to life. Their coordinator was phenomenal on the wedding day—she managed every detail with precision and kept everything running smoothly while staying attentive to our needs. What really impressed us was how she reached out to all of our vendors before the wedding to coordinate timing and setup, which took so much stress off our shoulders. She even met with us to finalize the decor and handled pickup the next day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and worth every penny.
