I photograph wedding days honestly and naturally, capturing both the timeless moments and the quiet in-between ones that make your story uniquely yours. From quiet glances across the room to laughter, inside jokes, and quick kisses in between, these fleeting moments are often the ones that mean the most. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio and available for travel across the US. What sets me apart is my ability to create a space where couples feel comfortable simply being themselves. I gently guide you when needed while allowing the natural moments to unfold.     Capturing the Moments

    We have been so lucky to work with Sam in recent years and will continue to. We did a small wedding ceremony at home and Sam captured it exactly as I had hoped (and beyond). Something that was important to me was to not overexpose our different skin tones and she honored that beautifully. Another thing I appreciated was her eye for detail and little moments. Since then, we have also worked together to capture our family in mini sessions and my daughter’s 1 year.

    AMAZING 10/10

    Sam is one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process! Not only were our pictures AMAZING, but she was such a huge help on the day of our wedding too. She helped put out fires that I didn’t even know about! We still use her for family photos 3 years later as well. I truly can not recommend her enough!!!

    Amazing Wedding Day & Engagement Photos!!

    Sam was absolutely amazing as our wedding and engagement photographer!! She took the time beforehand to really get to know us and our vision for the day. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and the quality of photos perfectly captured our day! We brought our two puppies to both engagement and wedding day photos and she worked so well with them too. Would highly recommend!

Yes. Each image delivered in your final gallery is individually edited to ensure beautiful color, balanced lighting, and a timeless finish consistent with my signature style. Your gallery is also carefully curated so that you receive a cohesive collection of the most meaningful moments from your day
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Within 72 hours of your wedding day, I send a small sneak peek so you have a few moments from your day to relive right away. Your full gallery is then carefully edited and delivered within 8 weeks.
Typically, couples book me about 10-12 months before their wedding date, but I do get last minute bookings (less than 4 months before) . I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Such an important question! I take several steps to ensure your images are safe. Your photos are stored on my main editing drive and backed up to a secondary hard drive during the editing process. I also keep the original files on the SD cards until your gallery has been delivered. Once complete, your final gallery is archived on my backup drive to ensure it remains protected.
Absolutely! I take my clients privacy seriously and if you decide you do not want me to post your images to social media or use them in my portfolio, that it perfectly fine. Your gallery can also be password protected to prevent prying eyes from viewing.
Absolutely. I help with timeline planning to make sure your day flows smoothly and we have the best possible light for your photos. I’ll work with you to plan time for portraits, family photos, and those quiet moments together so your day feels relaxed rather than rushed.
Rain on your wedding day can actually make for some of the most beautiful and romantic images. I always come prepared with backup location ideas and flexible plans so we can still capture stunning portraits. Sometimes the unexpected moments—like dancing in the rain or sharing a quiet moment under an umbrella—end up being the most memorable.
Yes. I provide gentle direction during portraits so you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. This helps us create those timeless images families love while still capturing the candid, in-between moments that make your day uniquely yours.
Booking is simple! To officially reserve your wedding date, I require a signed contract and a paid retainer. Once both are completed, your date is secured and I’m all yours for the big day.
