My path to becoming a wedding officiant began with curiosity. I've always been fascinated by different faiths, cultures, and traditions, and my love of travel deepened that interest. After studying at Xavier University, I pursued ordination to help couples create ceremonies that honor what matters most to them. Serving the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana tri-state region, I specialize in personalized, interfaith, multicultural, and multilingual ceremonies. As a poet and writer, I also help couples craft heartfelt vows that are memorable, meaningful, and authentically their own.

What sets me apart is my ability to blend storytelling, cultural awareness, and genuine connection into every ceremony. As a poet, writer, and lifelong student of faith and traditions, I create personalized ceremonies that reflect your unique journey. I have been licensed in Ohio since 2014 and have been practicing for the last three years. Much of my work involves serving as an inspirational keynote speaker, where I speak on topics related to family, relationships, and connection. I do not require premarital counseling, but I am happy to work with couples preparing for marriage. Many couples feel ready because their interests and goals are aligned. However, through my work with couples around the world, I have found that interests often change over time, while core values tend to remain stable. Premarital counseling offers a chance to explore those values, strengthen communication, and discuss how you will navigate life together. I help couples have these conversations with compassion, clarity, and mutual respect.
Yes, I do offer wedding rehearsals. Rehearsal services are generally an additional $75 and can be very helpful in ensuring everyone feels comfortable and prepared for the ceremony. The exact cost may vary depending on the location and travel requirements.
Absolutely! Many couples are already legally married before their ceremony. I would be honored to help you celebrate your relationship with a meaningful, personalized ceremony focused on your love, commitment, and the life you are building together.
I have officiated 12 weddings, including one in Spanish, two in French, and the rest in English. I enjoy honoring each couple’s culture, preferences, and vision for their special day. I enlist couples in the process and invite them to choose what they would like me to wear so that I can be responsive to their culture, the theme of the wedding, and the tone of the ceremony. My attire has ranged from a classic gray pantsuit to colorful African-inspired clothing, depending on the couple’s wishes.
