With over 250 weddings under her belt, she loves working with couples to provide the perfect folky playlist tailored to their tastes and needs. She provides her own sound gear and can accommodate new song requests. She's open to weddings all over New England.
Lindsay can provide a soothing all instrumental fingerstyle guitar set, mix in vocals, or switch to Irish bouzouki and go heavy on Celtic songs for folks who want to honor their Irish or Scottish heritage! While she often plays solo, she can also subcontract a friend or two on fiddle, pipes, concertina, mandolin, bass, etc. for an energetic ensemble performance. She Plays it All
Lindsay Straw was exactly what we needed for our wedding day. From our first conversation, she was responsive and easy to work with, taking time to understand what we wanted. She went above and beyond by learning new songs specifically for us, which meant so much. She included Irish songs for my husbands family, and learned two new songs for our ceremony (You’ve got a friend in me, Noah Kahan). Her acoustic guitar work was stunning and set the perfect tone for our ceremony. We'd recommend her without hesitation to any couple looking for a live musician.
