We guide couples with grace, authenticity, and gentle accountability, drawing from evidence-based practices and inclusive strategies. Founded by Rev. Maeba Jonas, (personal information protected by Zola)., spiritual life coach and ordained interfaith chaplain, Beloveds Coaching was born from the belief that more than anything else, we want to love and be loved - and that the best marriages begin with a strong foundation of friendship. We specialize in couples from different spiritual backgrounds, are interfaith or mix-belief, or who have left religion all together but still want someone who understands their upbringing. Beloveds Counseling - Single Session

Price$225

Description

Want to dive into a specific problem but don’t have the capacity for several sessions? Book a session as a couple or individual and schedule as you go. All sessions are confidential and will offer practical tools for conflict resolution, clearer communication and rekindling intimacy! I require 90 minutes for the first session only. Additional sessions are 60 minutes ($150/hour). (Note: single sessions do not include the relationship assessment or intake evaluation).

    Compassionate counseling & wonderful officiant

    Maeba was a fantastic addition to our wedding. Not only did she provide us with the resources to better understand the impact of the next step in our relationship, but she also gave us space to explore conflict resolutions too. The officiant service she provided was out of this world. She took what was a moment in our relationship and turned it into a speech that took my breath away. Anyone considering her services would be lucky to experience the joy she exudes.

    Premarital counseling and wedding officiate

    Maeba was such a helpful resource during premarital counseling. Both my wife and I found the guided exercises excellent tools to help us communicate and have a responsive relationship. Rev. Maeba also spoke beautifully as our officiate and helped make a memorable ceremony.

Premarital Counseling, sometimes called Pre-commitment Counseling is a way of diving into the biggest barriers to a lasting marriage and giving couples the tools to thrive! Wonderful! Most couples are as happy as they have ever been when they are planning their wedding (let’s hope so!) But every couple can benefit from taking an honest look at their relationship, communication styles, and desires for a lasting partnership. However, not everyone wants (or needs) therapy to do it. That’s where Premarital Counseling is different - it’s not therapy! Research shows that couples who do Premarital Counseling have a 30% higher success rate in avoiding divorce. They also report feeling happier and more satisfied in their marriage! (win win!)
No problem! The program typically takes 4 weeks from the first intake appointment, but I offer a one-year window following the wedding to complete the program. (You’ve got time!)
Yes! I am a member of the Open and Affirming Coalition and have worked extensively with LGBTQ+ couples and the unique gifts they bring, and challenges they face, in their relationships. I also have over a decade of experience in supporting those going through religious trauma and healing their spiritual identity. As an interfaith chaplain, I bring special skills to this aspect of our time together that very few therapists are equipped to handle. 
Nope! I am not a licensed therapist and this is not therapy. More importantly, I will not tell you that you are marrying the wrong person or that your relationship is doomed! Since you have made the decision to commit yourselves to one another, I wish to do everything I can to help you have a happy and successful marriage!
