My name is Jia, I am a lover of Seafood, Peking Duck, and Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes. I also love to see people smile. I believe that all smiles are contagious, this is why I chose wedding photography: it magically makes me smile more. I love the warm sunlight and true emotions from both the bride and the groom. Now looking back, I am really thankful that clients appreciate my artistic vision more than my professional equipment. PS: Personally, I’d avoid the moon but I am more than happy to photograph you anywhere on earth. :)

    Best photographer!

    ​From the very beginning, working with Jia was an absolute dream. We started out having a really fun time doing our engagement shoot, which perfectly set a relaxed, exciting tone for the wedding day itself. He is incredibly creative, fun, and so naturally easy-going that he immediately put everyone at ease. ​What we loved most about his style was how seamlessly he captured the day. Aside from the organized family photos before the ceremony—which were smooth and stress-free—the vast majority of his shots were completely candid. He has a brilliant eye for capturing genuine, emotional, and hilarious moments without making anything feel forced or over-staged. ​On top of being an insanely talented professional, he brought the absolute best energy to our reception. Jia was right out there hitting the dance floor with killer moves while still nailing every single shot! Weeks later, our guests are still commenting on how amazing, fun, and vibrant he was. ​If you want a photographer who is brilliant at his craft, effortless to work with, and a total blast to have around on your big day, hire Jia.     Book frame your love photo NOW!

    I knew as soon as I got engaged I wanted to work with Jia! He did a few of my cousins weddings so I already knew how efficient he works and the quality of his work. Jia takes artistic and photos that capture the true emotion of the day! He kept us on time and also incorporated any last minute shots we wanted. He is very quick with communication, thorough in planning and making sure your day incorporates everything you were hoping for! I would book Jia over and over again - he really made our day so special and we can’t wait to receive our pictures!

    No Better Choice!

    We just wanted to write a review on how grateful we are to have chosen Frame Your Love Photography for our wedding. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, Jia has been nothing short of incredible and has gone above and beyond every step of the way. He made the engagement shoot day a really lovely memory for us, and of course we left with the most lovely photos to remember it by. When we look at the photos or think about the day, we have a huge smile on our face. It was truly a wonderful day and such an adventure and Jia went the extra extra mile (literally and metaphorically) for us, and it was completely reflected in the experience and photos. And of course on the day of, he was a superstar. Having Leslie with Phil in the morning and Jia with Nicole was really lovely and we are so beyond pleased to get to see the photos from each others’ morning. I want you to know that Leslie did a great job and made everyone feel so comfortable, and gelled really well with us all. Jia’s ability to control a scene, direct people, give commands and create moments is truly incredible. He made sure we got all the photos with family that we wanted to, and did an amazing job at getting the ones in the church and right at the venue before people showed up, at a time when obviously we were strapped for time, but he didn’t make it feel rushed at all and gave such clear instructions for us all. Everyone we have spoken to since the wedding has commented on what an amazing photographer Jia is, and his warmth, direction, vision, and ability to make everyone feel at ease was noticeable by all. We were so excited to have gotten our photos back to quickly and are just so stunning. We have sent them to everyone, and have gotten nothing but the best feedback and speechlessness at times. We truly cannot express enough to Jia how much we value him being involved in and around our most magical day. His photos speak for themselves, but his personality and character shined through at every moment, and for that we are forever grateful to have met you.     Jia is the BEST

    There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Jia is with Frame Your Love Photography! The detail in his photos is unmatched, and his ability to listen to all of your requests while simultaneously being the creative genius he is, is one in a million. Not only is he so professional and skilled but he is a blast! He was on the dance for the whole time capturing all of the amazing moments with family and friends! From the second we booked with him I knew I made the right decision. He made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot, which is something my husband and I were very nervous about. On the wedding day, he showed up early to scope out the venue and highlight key areas that would be amazing to photograph. His energy and kind hearted spirit was felt by everyone. I had people coming up to me all night, saying they have never seen a wedding photographer this good and this invested. I truly cannot say enough about his services, but if you don’t believe me, his work speaks for itself! Jia is the absolute best!

In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
You can expect about 60 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3-4 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive an online gallery with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
