Based in Jersey City, I've been photographing weddings since 2010. I have two degrees in photography and wouldn't change a moment of what I do or how I got here. I spent 5 years producing celebrity photo shoots for magazines like Time Out and InStyle, so keeping cool under fast-paced pressure is kind of my thing. I'm always trying to push the envelope with what I do, whether that's finding a way to make better photos or optimize your experience with me.

I want to make sure your photos reflect you and your partner. I'm a calm and quiet presence, but also your hype team when you need it. I'm here to direct you when you need it and make sure that your photos effortlessly reflect the two of you by giving you prompts that get you forgetting about the camera, having fun and just being yourselves with each other. Not only do my photographs feature bold and true to life color, but I am there for you every step of the way. I am honored to work with you and I want you to LOVE your photography experience, so customer service and efficiency are hugely important to me.

Could not recommend Lauren enough!
Lauren was absolutely AMAZING to work with from start to finish. My wedding was in March 2026 and I miss her! The scheduling/coordination process was seamless, and where do I begin on our photos... they are STUNNING. Both the portraits and candid moments were captured so beautifully, and the way Lauren edits her photos makes them feel so genuine and timeless. Lauren kept us moving on a tight timeline as we had a lot of shots that we wanted, but was incredibly prepared and organized throughout the whole experience. Lauren brought such a calming, light presence to our wedding day. We got our photos back quickly which was an added bonus. Could not recommend her more!

We had such a great experience working with Lauren Spinelli from start to finish. Lauren's communication was friendly and quick—she answered our questions fast and gave us all the info we needed to feel prepared. On our wedding day, she made us feel relaxed in front of the camera and directed us in ways that felt natural, not stiff or posed. She kept the energy up throughout the day, which made everything fun instead of stressful. The photos turned out stunning and really captured who we are as a couple. Her work is professional and authentic, and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer to document our special day.

Chill, relaxed, incredible.

Our favorite person EVER
From our very first interaction with Lauren, we felt at ease and supported throughout the entire process. Lauren and her team were friendly and incredibly helpful in making sure our wedding day was perfectly captured. The photos they delivered are truly beautiful and evocative, perfectly encapsulating the love and joy of our special day. Lauren and her team blended seamlessly into the background, allowing them to capture so many authentic, candid moments of us and our guests. We've worked with Lauren for three separate shoots - our proposal, engagement, and wedding - and each time have been blown away by the stunning, vibrant colors and overall quality of the photos. Lauren is the best!
Where do I begin!? Lauren was a constant source of calm leading up to and on our wedding day. My husband and I felt so comfortable and confident the entire day because we knew Lauren was there with us - amping us up, taking charge of the schedule, and keeping things fun! Lauren made our day so special. Also, she gives out polaroids - which, admittedly, we never really thought much about - now they are some of our favorite moments to look back on. We are so grateful we got to partner with Lauren - it was the best choice we made during planning and I would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you doesn’t seem like enough, but we are so thankful to Lauren for supporting us, capturing our day, and just being amazing.
