I have shot over 400 weddings in the tri-state area and beyond. I am obsessed with photography and feel extremely fortunate I get to do this for a living. I strive for excellence and I am always learning and evolving in this humbling craft. I live in Waldwick, NJ with my wife and 2 sons.

My work is a combination of Editorial, Fine Art and Documentary. I capture spontaneous moments all throughout your day, and when I am given the green light I shoot natural, effortless editorial portraits.

    Loved working with Pivko!

    From our first conversation with Pivko, we knew we were in great hands. Kyle was incredibly responsive to every question we had and made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. We did our engagement shoot with Kyle first, so we already trusted his skills, and he absolutely delivered on our wedding day. His energy on set was infectious and our guests couldn't stop talking about him. The final photos are stunning—they capture every moment with such clarity and emotion that we still can't believe they're ours. We'd recommend Pivko to anyone looking for a photographer who genuinely cares about their day.

    We love Jon!!

    Hiring Jon was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From our first conversation, Jon was professional, friendly, and focused. Early on we talked about our priorities and wishes for our wedding day, plus some insecurities and concerns. He completely understood and he delivered on everything he promised he would. Throughout our portraits we were cracking jokes with him and his assistant (shout out Beth!); they were wonderful company and made everyone in front of the camera feel comfortable. Thank you, Jon!

    The best!

    Jon was amazing! I hate to have my photo take and he was very mindful and worked around that. Our shots were more candid and in the moment and turned out beautiful! It poured during our ceremony and he caught all the amazing chaos. Our album is gorgeous and special and I can’t recommend him enough!!

Typically, couples book me about 16-*8 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
It depends on the wedding and chosen package. I offer second shooters and about half of couples opt for it. I don't normally bring an assistant unless in an apprentice situation.
After your wedding I do a "cull" which means eliminating all the repeat, out of focus, awkward face images. All final images will then be edited for color, saturation, exposure, composition, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
I do not, but I can recommend some I have worked with plenty of times.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-8 weeks after your wedding. I also will give you some images right after your wedding to hold you over.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of shooting. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues. This happened once, on the day my first son was born. I sent trusted shooters as backup and all was well. The couple still refers me weddings.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
As I understand Pivko means "small beer" in some Eastern Europe countries. I am allergic to beer, so I can't live up to my namesake as even a "small beer" will ruin my night.
Yes, you can pretty much do as you want with the images other than edit them and then display them publicly. I don't even mess around with watermarks.
