Hudson House’s Grand Ballroom is the most impressive waterfront wedding venue in Jersey City, with floor-to-ceiling glass framing the full Manhattan skyline, cathedral ceilings, and a mezzanine that turns every first dance into something cinematic. The venue of our dreams!
From our very first meeting at Hudson House with Gabriel, we knew we were in the best hands. He felt like a friend from the start - warm, thoughtful, incredibly supportive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding everything we had dreamed it would be. Having him as our planner and event stylist was an absolute gift. Gabriel has an extraordinary ability to balance creativity with precision. He was always available, endlessly helpful, and handled every detail with such poise and confidence that we could fully enjoy the process knowing everything was being cared for. He became so much more than our planner - he became someone we trusted, relied on, and genuinely loved having alongside us. And the venue itself could not have been more exceptional. Every aspect was pristine, beautifully managed, and executed with an attention to detail that made the entire experience feel effortless. The food and beverage service was extraordinary - there was more than our guests could have imagined, and every single thing was absolutely delicious. Our guests are still talking about it! Most importantly, the entire team was a true partner in creating a celebration that felt deeply personal to us. They embraced every personalized detail and helped transform the space into something that felt completely our own - elegant, intimate, joyful, and filled with love. Our wedding day was every bit of what we dreamed it would be, and so much of that is because of Gabriel and the incredible team surrounding him at Hudson House. We will forever be grateful for their talent, generosity, care, and impeccable execution. What could have simply been a beautiful venue became the setting for one of the most meaningful days of our lives - and we could not have asked for a more extraordinary team to bring it all to life.

We had our dream wedding at Hudson House! The space is beyond gorgeous and we got so many compliments from guests on the views of the NYC skyline. The events team, especially Gabriel, was incredible to work with and always easily reachable and able to accommodate any request. Would recommend this venue to anyone I wish we could do it all over again!

Our wedding on May 1, 2026 was truly the best day of our lives, and the entire Hudson House team exceeded every expectation we had. We had a bit of a rocky start during the initial booking process, but once Elena, the General Manager, stepped in and connected us with Gabriel, the Director, everything became seamless. From that point forward, we felt completely taken care of. The food tasting alone was an experience unlike anything we've ever seen. It was an incredible feast and gave us a firsthand look at how Hudson House executes events and the level of service they provide. The food was absolutely outstanding, and our guests are still talking about it weeks later. One of the things that made our wedding feel extra special was having the second-floor room available for cocktail hour instead of the overlook above the reception space. While both spaces are beautiful, having a completely separate floor created such an incredible guest experience. Many guests thought the cocktail hour space was the reception itself, only to be amazed when they discovered there was another floor for dinner and dancing, followed by the Stork Club for the after-party. Everyone loved the progression of the evening and how each part of the celebration had its own unique space. The cocktail hour was truly next level. We received countless compliments about the amount of food and the variety of stations. Guests repeatedly told us they had never seen so many options at a wedding. One detail that made a huge impact was having our signature his-and-hers drinks already waiting for guests as they entered cocktail hour. People loved being able to grab a drink immediately instead of standing in line at the bar, and it was one of the most complimented touches of the night. What impressed us most, though, was the service. Every single staff member was warm, friendly, attentive, and accommodating. If a guest needed something, it was handled immediately. The professionalism and hospitality were truly exceptional. A special thank you goes to Maya, my bridal attendant, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was by my side all day, constantly making sure I had water, checking on me, helping me stay hydrated, and ensuring I had everything I needed. She even helped clean the dirt off the train of my dress after photos. Maya was calm, thoughtful, diligent, and genuinely cared about making my day perfect. Before we left, she made sure all of our belongings were packed and organized, and she carefully packed up the food and cake I requested to take home since I knew I probably wouldn't get a chance to eat much during the wedding. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy so many of the amazing dishes once we got back to our hotel. Gabriel was equally incredible throughout the night. Anytime I noticed something that needed attention, no matter how small, he addressed it immediately. Knowing he was there overseeing everything allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day. Hudson House delivered beyond our wildest dreams. The venue is stunning, the food is phenomenal, the service is unmatched, and the entire team genuinely cares about creating an unforgettable experience. Everything ran so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. The only downside is that the day goes by way too fast. We honestly wish we could do it all over again. We cannot recommend Hudson House enough.

An absolute dream venue. The space, the views, the food - no detail was missed. Staff were incredibly on top of every detail from ensuring my husband and I had a sampling of all the cocktail hour food, to folding napkins when guests left their table. Guests were so complimentary of the space and experience, I cannot recommend this enough. Gabe shepherded us through the planning process and was responsive to our questions, making the day less stressful and more enjoyable.

Run - don't walk - to book Hudson House!
My husband and I got married at Hudson House this past weekend, and it was an absolutely incredible experience!!! Hudson House blew away every expectation that I had prior. The food was incredible, the views were outstanding of course, and the staff was sharp and ready for anything. We worked with Matthew Tobjy during our setup process, and I cannot speak more highly about him!!! Matthew was communicative, professional, and helpful at every turn - he made the process that much better. If you are able to - run don't walk to book Hudson House!!! :-)
