The View at Lincoln Park - wedding of my dreams
The venue itself is a hidden gem—not because it should stay a secret, but because more couples should know about it. The setting is breathtaking, with sweeping views of the reservoir, graceful weeping willows, and beautifully maintained grounds that make you feel like you’ve escaped the city, even though you’re only minutes from it. Inside, the industrial architecture is elegant, warm, and timeless. The space has so much character that we hardly needed additional décor because the venue itself is the décor. One of the biggest reasons we chose The View was its location. I wanted the beauty and tranquility of a park without sacrificing the energy and charm of an urban setting, and this venue delivered both perfectly. Our guests stayed in vibrant Downtown Jersey City, enjoyed everything the city has to offer, and took quick, inexpensive Ubers and Lyfts to the venue. It struck exactly the balance we were hoping for: a gorgeous natural setting with all the convenience of a city wedding. As a lifelong NYC girl, I also loved introducing our guests to Jersey City. They got to experience its beauty, character, and incredible food scene without ever needing to venture into Manhattan. Our guests loved moving between the indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the evening, and we received countless compliments on the venue. The food was phenomenal—beautifully presented, delicious, and genuinely some of the best wedding food many of our guests had ever had. If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to consider adding one more day-of staff member during key moments. Ivy was clearly managing an incredible amount behind the scenes, and having another team member available during transitions would make an already outstanding experience even more seamless. This isn’t a reflection on Ivy—quite the opposite. She was extraordinary, and the number of responsibilities she handled so gracefully speaks to just how valuable she is. The entire team made us feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail created a celebration that exceeded every expectation, and we are so grateful. If you’re considering The View at Lincoln Park, don’t hesitate. It is one of the most beautiful, professionally run, and genuinely special wedding venues in the region. We would choose it again in a heartbeat.

A night to remember, always
Ways to describe my experience: amazing, thoughtful, no details missed, excellent staff, great food, and everything I wanted. I can not rave enough about how good my experience was here. Everyone made sure to take care of me every week up until my wedding day. You can pretty much customize anything and they will be sure to execute your vision. Huge shout out to Ivy--my coordinator. She is nothing less than professional and impressive. She understood my needs and what I expected and when I was not sure she was able to guide me. I didn't even need an additional event planner because she handled everything for me. She is a straight shooter and gives you all you need to make your event work. Also special thank you to Diana--my attendant. She is incredibly sweet and knows what you are about to ask before you do. She saved me more times than I can count on my wedding day. Thank you a ton to the team and the venue for taking care of me. xo

Beautiful Venue Terrible Serbice
This is a beautiful venue without having to decorate it. I had my wedding here last week and it was a blast… for the people who didn’t know anything that was happening behind the scenes. I had been communicating with an event coordinator over a year prior to my wedding who then stopped answering my emails. Come to find out I had a new one without notice. This was the beginning of when everything went downhill. The new even coordinator never answered emails on a timely matter (about a week to respond). Her first excuse was that she had sent me an email from the incorrect email, however would this not mean I should have gotten an email anyway? Did I? No. Towards the end I had to call her after 3 days to make sure she had seen my email which she did not. There were many many things that were set in stone at least 1 month prior to the wedding day but were either never executed or were completely wrong. Such as: 1. Outdoor bar for cocktail hour - the coordinator had called me the day prior asking if I want the cocktail hour to be set up indoors instead due to forecasted rain. The following words came out of her mouth “the sinks at the bat don’t work right now since the outdoor bar is set to be opened up in the next week or two”. Why is it not working if my wedding date was chosen the YEAR prior (ample time to get the sinks working) and most importantly why is it not set up for my wedding? Were you going to say oops sorry it can’t happen on the day of? Don’t worry everyone the rain stopped 8 hours prior to the cocktail hour and the sinks were miraculously working and we were able to use the outdoor bar. There was just a terrible impression left from that conversation. 2. Podium for officiant - never set up. This was also asked for multiple times by multiple people on the day of the wedding. She kept saying she was going to get it ip there but it never made it there. 3. Table set up for reception - there was a clear floor plan but it was not correct. There was a table basically in the dance floor sticking out. We had to rotate it ourselves 4. Chairs per table - seating chart was provided with how many people there will be per table, but it was not correct. 5. Clothing rack for groom and bridal suites - the only place to hang anything were hooks on the bathroom door. A BROKEN rack was provided and we were told we can “lean it against the wall” 6. Finally details meeting/ walk through- This meeting was scheduled to be in person 3 months prior to the date set. She emailed me 1 weeks prior asking if we could reschedule because she did not realize she already had another event set on that days. Talk about not being able to read a calendar. Ultimately we did not reschedule as a 1 week notice is unacceptable for something that was set in stone for MONTHS Now we get to some of the BEST things that they messed up. 1. BROKEN CHAIR FOR BRIDE/ GROOM (See attached photo) - the wedding party and myself went around to make sure every single chair was good to use god forbid someone fell trying to sit down. 2. Reception welcoming - the coordinator had no idea what she was doing clearly because she pushed for the wedding party to go out when MY MOTHER’S name was announced and messed up the entire entrance Long story short, the coordinator we got did not listen whatsoever and she did not make our night easy. Everything was one ear out the other. This coordinator’s name is Ivy. I would not recommend having her help you whatsoever.

Wedding 2025
We are so grateful that we chose The View to have our wedding. Literally from start to finish - Vivian was amazing. Between helping us set up the wedding and cake tasting - to answering our questions, Vivian was responsive and so helpful. Our guests literally loved everything - and so did we. The space is beautiful, with so much opportunity for a couple to create their own. The food and drinks were amazing. The staff was so kind and helpful. The team at The View made our wedding day better than we could have ever imagined. From start to finish - we had an amazing experience and would 100% recommend The View.

Beautiful Wedding Venue
We had our wedding here in February—it was a beautiful space with large windows that let in so much natural light. We loved how our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all on different floors. The View was very accommodating of our request to also have a traditional Korean ceremony in the reception space. Overall, it’s a simple, but modern and elegant venue. Food and drinks were amazing—the guests particularly praised the cocktail hour foods. (We also had a donut wall, which was crazy!) And finally, the staff were all so lovely. Vivian and her team helped make sure that our day went as smoothly as possible.
