So nice to meet you! My name is Carina, and I'm your new wedding planning bestie! I started Raleigh Weddings after self-planning my own wedding. As much as I loved the process, I was also up until 3 AM the night before my wedding finalizing designs on my decor and straightening our ceremony chairs. My wedding day ended up being AMAZING (on 4 hours of sleep, no less!), but if I had known then what I do now, I would have had a planner. That's why I got certified in wedding planning and started my business in 2022: I want to help you soak in the joyful parts this process while I take on the heavy stuff for you.

Don't get me wrong, a big part of weddings is design: the tablescapes, the florals, the color palette. I'm a sucker for certain aesthetics (hellooo, garden weddings!) and design elements (who doesn't love a champagne wall?), but the most important thing about weddings to me is what they're meant for: to celebrate LOVE! As your planner, my priority will be you and your soon-to-be spouse, and executing a day that is authentic to both of you. I will take the utmost care to select and suggest vendors that will meet your needs, and I'll go above and beyond (and even get my hands dirty) to get it all right. Because that's what you deserve!

Wow. Where even to begin? I chose to work with Carina for day-of coordination by venue recommendation, and I am so incredibly grateful that I found her. I had no idea just how much she would take on to help in the weeks leading up to our wedding! Not only did she take over vendor communications, but she created our day-of timeline, helped keep us on track with all of the remaining little details we had to gather, provided amazon recommendations for last minute items we needed, and checked in to make sure we weren't feeling too stressed in the weeks before (unnecessary but so appreciated). There are so many little details that are easy to overlook in wedding planning, even with all the resources available on the internet, and as someone who is extremely type-A and organized and originally wasn't sure how much a coordinator would help, I can tell you that Carina made a very profound impact on how much we were able to enjoy our day. I felt confident leading up to our wedding that we had everything we needed thanks to her help, and fully trusted that she would take care of any issues that arose. It was so nice to not have to worry about receiving vendors at the venue or knowing every detail of the schedule the day-of, and I felt I was really able to be in the moment and bask in the celebration. If there was anything that went wrong on our wedding day, I don't know about it because she and her assistant helped it run so, so smoothly. Carina is extremely confident and professional in her work; you can tell she knows exactly what she's doing and loves not only her job, but the couples she works with. Everyone in my bridal party commented after the wedding, separate from one another, about how amazing she is as a person and in her career. Thank you Carina for being such an integral part of such a perfect day!

I utilized Carina as an event coordinator for my wedding. Looking back, I wish I had book her for even more (such as partial or full wedding planning) because she was a dream to work with. She made the process so easy for me and was constantly taking things off my plate, both big and small, such as place cards, reminders of when to send thanks you, helping arrange my florals. She also has so much experience in the industry that she informs you and helps you through processes you as a bride haven't had to think of yet, such as obtaining the marriage license or layout of tables at the venue. I cannot recommend her enough, she is calm, cool, collected, and made our day go perfectly.

I honestly don't even know where to begin. Carina is hands-down one of the most thoughtful, kind, hard-working, enjoyable, and creative people I have ever met. She handled every single thing with poise and grace. Every wedding plan changes, or has hiccups but frankly I never had to feel those because Carina just handled it with such calm and supportive energy that I didn't even have time to worry about anything at all. I think one of the most unique things about Carina is how she puts her EVERYTHING into making your vision come true. She sat down and HAND-WROTE every single name card (200!!!) because I liked an idea she had. She showed up to my rehearsal dinner with a bouquet for me that she stopped and made herself just so I could have something for that night. Day of was no different, honestly it was almost sad because I knew I wouldn't get to have my fun meetings with her anymore (luckily we are now good friends so I get to do that either way!!) I recommend Carina for your wedding if you want someone to create a vision, to be kind and thoughtful, to listen and show up to every appointment and to put her entire heart into making sure your vision comes to fruition.

We worked with Carina of Raleigh Weddings, and it was easily one of the best decisions that we made. Carina has an impeccable eye for details, and through all her meetings helped us ensure that nothing was overlooked on the wedding day. She provided us with thorough check lists, email recaps, and reliable communication to help make our day perfect. Perhaps the best part about Carina is that she is so personable and brings so much joy to the wedding planning process. You could tell that she really cares about all of the people she works with. It is refreshing how authentic she is! Moreover, she really took the stress out of the process especially in the last few weeks. If it was something that she could take off our plates, she was more than happy to do it for us. I can thank her for a wonderful wedding that was flawlessly executed.
