Most of the weddings I photograph are planned and designed by professional planners, and I collaborate closely with them and the full vendor team leading up to and throughout your wedding day. I typically attend the final venue walkthrough to understand the layout, timeline, and overall vision so there are no surprises and we have a clear plan in place. This level of preparation ensures a seamless flow, beautifully styled details, and an experience where you can remain fully present and at ease.

How do you help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera?

Most of my couples tell me they “aren’t good at photos,” and that’s completely normal. I offer gentle, intentional guidance so you never have to wonder what to do. I’ll guide you into natural, flattering movement and positioning, then allow space for genuine interaction to unfold. Because I pay close attention to subtle expressions and in-between moments, you’ll never feel overly posed or stiff. The result feels effortless, confident, and true to who you are, while still polished and refined.

How far in advance should we book you?

Most of my couples book between 6 to 15 months before their wedding date. Because I accept a limited number of celebrations each year, dates can fill quickly, especially during peak seasons in Virginia and along the East Coast. If you feel aligned with my work, I always recommend inquiring early to ensure availability.
