    Say Yes to Chantel!

    We cannot recommend Chantel enough! She shot both our engagement and wedding, bringing a calm, reassuring presence that made being in front of the camera feel effortless and fun. Chantel is incredibly thoughtful and intentional. She even reached out to our entire vendor team before the wedding to coordinate details, which blew our other vendors away. On the big day she and her amazing team were organized, unobtrusive and genuinely invested in us. We will cherish these beautiful photos forever!

    A Perfect Photographer for Our Perfect Day

    My fiance and I were looking for a photographer whose style fit our vision. We wanted someone whose work was editorial and romantic. Chantel fit that to a tee. Her body of work was amazing. I knew she would be our photographer after our first meeting. She is as kind as she is talented. Having kind vendors who go above and beyond is really a blessing. She made us feel comfortable, and had a great eye for detail during our engagement shoot. Fast forward to our wedding day, and Chantel arrived early to scope out places for photos. She was helpful and attentive throughout the entire day.

I accept a limited number of weddings each season (no more than 15) so I can provide a highly tailored experience. This allows me to focus deeply on your story, your design details, and ensuring your celebration is documented with care and intention.
Most of the weddings I photograph are planned and designed by professional planners, and I collaborate closely with them and the full vendor team leading up to and throughout your wedding day. I typically attend the final venue walkthrough to understand the layout, timeline, and overall vision so there are no surprises and we have a clear plan in place. This level of preparation ensures a seamless flow, beautifully styled details, and an experience where you can remain fully present and at ease.
Most of my couples tell me they “aren’t good at photos,” and that’s completely normal. I offer gentle, intentional guidance so you never have to wonder what to do. I’ll guide you into natural, flattering movement and positioning, then allow space for genuine interaction to unfold. Because I pay close attention to subtle expressions and in-between moments, you’ll never feel overly posed or stiff. The result feels effortless, confident, and true to who you are, while still polished and refined.
Yes. My collections are a starting point. I thoughtfully craft custom proposals based on your celebration’s flow, priorities, and overall vision to ensure coverage feels aligned and intentional.
Most of my couples book between 6 to 15 months before their wedding date. Because I accept a limited number of celebrations each year, dates can fill quickly, especially during peak seasons in Virginia and along the East Coast. If you feel aligned with my work, I always recommend inquiring early to ensure availability.
