That's why I'll work with you to craft a ceremony that perfectly aligns with your wishes, whether you envision a traditional religious service, a completely secular celebration, or something wonderfully in between.

With over 35 years of ministerial experience and a decade as a college instructor, I bring a unique blend of personal touch and professional expertise to every wedding. As an ordained Baptist minister, I am authorized to officiate weddings throughout North Carolina. I'm based in Chapel Hill and proudly serve couples in Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, Burlington, and all surrounding areas. I also welcome destination weddings!

Wonderful experience
Amazing officiant! Perry was so professional and easy to work with! We did premarital coaching with him as well, and he helped us learn so many good strategies to use in our marriage. On our wedding day, he made us feel so prepared for the ceremony and it went so smoothly. We loved having him there to officiate our special day.

Book Perry!!! We chose Perry as our officiant after our first call because of how kind and genuine he is. From the start, it felt like talking to a family friend, while still knowing we were in such capable and professional hands. He truly cared about making our ceremony feel personal and exactly how we envisioned it. From our first meeting with Perry we instantly liked him and knew we wanted him to be part of our special day. His gentle, amiable, and light-hearted nature sparked something in us that made us feel like talking with an old friend. We recently got married and Perry was our officiant. His guidance was genuine and helpful throughout the journey to our wedding day. He met with us multiple times via phone, email, and in person to discuss the particulars and flow for our day. He provided us with an organized outline to help stay focused as there are a lot of moving parts in preparing for our special day. His preparation enabled us to pick from multiple options on his outline and he offered advice into what might work best based on our own personalities and wants while remaining respectful to all attending the wedding. He worked with us to make it personal for us just to fully enhance the day.
