Best part of the ceremony and cocktail hour

We had Sarah play for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. It was absolutely perfect!! It was a lot of our guests favorite part of the wedding, for the ceremony I asked her to play the interstellar theme walking down the aisle and she was perfect it was so beautiful and our recessional was Married Life from Up it was amazing. For our cocktail hour we picked mostly Disney songs and songs from movies and even one song from Tool (Schism) and our guests had so much fun figuring out the songs playing and what movie they were from! I would recommend doing this over DJ any day it was so perfect

    Enchanting Experience

Sarah was an absolute dream! She came highly recommended by our wedding planner, Coralie of White Tie Planner. We had high expectations going in, and she exceeded all of them. She was easy to work and communicate with, picked up on our vibe immediately, and recommended great songs from her repertoire to play throughout the day. We requested she add 3 songs for the processional, bride entrance, and recessional, and she crushed them. We almost cried hearing her play. Our guests also loved her playing. We have gotten nothing but rave reviews about how she did during the ceremony and cocktail hour. If we ever have the chance to hire a harpist for something again, we will absolutely go to Sarah first. Sarah, if you read this, thank you a million for helping make our wedding so perfectly enchanting!

    Sarah is the Best!

Sarah is so amazing!! We had the pleasure of having her play at our wedding this year, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Her music added a charming and cultivated presence to our cermony and cocktail hour, while also incorporating our own style. She offers a diverse catalog of genres and songs that allows you to curate a song list that is both personal and tailored to your vision. She is also so incredibly kind, professional, and makes it a priority to meet your needs to her best ability. My husband and I both had songs that we wanted to walk down the aisle to and she was able to learn and play them beautifully at our wedding. Sarah also makes it a priority to make all of her couples feel special and supported throughout the wedding planning process. If you're looking for a musician who is talented, professional and committed to their couples - Sarah is your person!

    Highly Recommend

We loved having Sarah play during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. She was very professional and easy to work with. She gave us a very large and diverse list of songs to choose from, in addition to learning a new one if we requested it (we did not). Overall, having her be a part of our wedding day was a joy and we highly recommend booking her for your next event.

Both! Some couples hire me for the ceremony only, but the biggest regret I hear from couples is that they wished they hired me for the cocktail hour as well. I have four packages ranging from ceremony only to full wedding weekend to suit every couple's needs. The starting package for weekend celebrations includes both ceremony and cocktail hour.
I arrive 45 minutes before I'm scheduled to start playing, which typically means a little over an hour before the ceremony. That's plenty of time for me to get set up, tuned, and ready to make your wedding beautiful!
Yes, sometimes couples want a special song for the ceremony that's not in my repertoire. This does not happen frequently as my song list is expansive! All of my packages include at least one new song request. In cases where you'd like to add more, there will be a small fee to cover the price of music and additional practice time.
For weddings more than 25 miles away from North Raleigh, I charge a mileage rate which will be included in your invoice before your sign the contract. For events more than 150 miles away, there may be additional charges to cover accommodations while traveling. All fees include set up and break down, though there may be a cartage fee if a ceremony and cocktail hour are held at different venues, not if they are at different locations at the same venue.
I always ask for the dress code and color scheme of the wedding so I can coordinate. I avoid white/cream/beige unless specifically directed otherwise by the couple. If you have any special attire requests, please let me know!
Unlike many classical musicians, I provide a much wider variety of musical genres. Learning new music is one of the favorite parts of my job (besides celebrating your wedding with you, of course)! I'm constantly learning new pieces to bring my clients the best selection on the market.
Sales tax is calculated based upon the county of the event and added to your invoice.
I do not provide lighting, but I do provide ceremony sound support. This add-on comes with two wireless microphones (handheld & lapel), speaker, and on-site audio engineer.
I love out-of-the-box choices for your wedding music. I've had several brides walk down the aisle to Evanesence or Paramore, grooms who requested Mariah Carey or Usher, or Disney-loving couples who choose their childhood favorites. I also love classical, but prefer something other than Canon in D or Here Comes the Bride - give me Debussy, Liszt, Holst, or Puccini and I'm a happy harpist!
