With a little over 6 years of experience in the industry, I really care about getting good quality photos and videos to you within a reasonable budget! I know that getting pictures done can be expensive and we are here to provide you with excellent service and amazing photos on a budget!

    Nissa J Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From the beginning, their communication style was thorough, detailed, and empathetic - they truly took the time to understand our unique wedding concept and vision. The quality of their work is simply outstanding, with an artistic and professional approach that captured all the candid, special moments of our engagement shoot in a timely and responsive manner. Nissa and her husband have gone above and beyond to ensure our vision is met, even acting as a supportive bridesmaid-like figure throughout the process. We couldn't feel more at peace knowing our wedding is in their capable hands, and we are thrilled to have them capture our wedding. She traveled wherever we needed her to for these shots, and she even helped capture some other special moments during our shoot. We had lost our dog last Christmas and ended up rescuing his brother. She not only got us a beautiful family portrait together, and some collegiate graduation photos, but worked with me and my budget to include video after discussing our needs post-loss. Nissa J Photography is truly a cut above the rest. She treats you like so much more than just a paycheck, but like your bestie who wants nothing more than to be a part of your special moments and help you have the most beautiful keepsakes of them. I love my man, but she’s the best choice outside of him that I’ve made for this wedding!

    Nissa J Photography was efficient in their communication, primarily through email, but their style was sometimes a bit blunt. While the quality of their work was generally good, we felt there was too much photoshop used on some of the photos. They were timely in delivering the final images. On the day of our wedding, Nissa could come across as a bit abrasive at times, but she did help keep things moving along efficiently. We were also disappointed to see Nissa post passive aggressive and personal comments about us, as well as other clients, on her professional Instagram account. Overall, the end results were decent, but the process was not always as smooth as we had hoped.

My approach on wedding days is often very hands-on and directive to ensure timelines stay on track and important moments aren’t missed. That said, I understand that this style may not resonate with everyone, and I take that feedback seriously. Regarding editing style, every gallery reflects my artistic vision, which is discussed during the booking process, but I always welcome constructive feedback and aim to refine my work continually. I also want to clarify that I hold professionalism very seriously, especially on my business platforms, and I never intend for anything shared to feel personal or targeted toward clients.     We hired Nissa to photograph our wedding which included a church ceremony and reception. She also provided an engagement session free of charge. We absolutely LOVED working with her from start to finish. Nissa is very down-to-earth, personable, and professional. She was excellent with the big details and helped us with the little ones, including saving my dress on the wedding day when we couldn't figure out the bustle. Her communication prior to the wedding was great. On the day, she arrived early and helped things flow nicely from the ceremony to reception (which involved wrangling a very chatty family for family photos). One of the things we wanted to do on our wedding day was read private vows to each other - just the two of us. Nissa recorded these vows on her phone, so we were able to share them after with family and friends. This was not expected AT ALL, but we treasure having this video and are so grateful Nissa thought to record it for us. We have yet to receive our full wedding album (it's only been 2 weeks!), but the photos from the engagement session as well as the sneak peek we have already received are outstanding. Some of the photos where she said "we are going to try this to see how it goes" are some of our favorites. The photos are easy to access and download and there was a quick turnaround. The family members and friends we have shared the photos with are also impressed by how great they turned out. We are so happy we chose Nissa to be our wedding photographer and can't wait to see the full album!
