You will build a playlist. You will agonize over it for eleven months. And then a stranger with a laptop will decide he knows better and play the Cupid Shuffle. Not here. Your list is the list, your do-not-play list is honored like a restraining order, and the microphone is for your names, not for anyone's stand-up debut. In between, the songs actually mix. No silence. No track ridden to the bitter end while the floor drains. Our DJs came up in the bars and nightclubs on Glenwood South in downtown Raleigh.

    10/10 Recommend!

    Justin was great to work with! After our first meeting with him we knew he was the guy for us. He was extremely organized and professional. The app he utilized was super easy and the final meeting before our wedding was so detailed we had no worries! Throughout the wedding his team was so great at making sure our dance floor never died. It was a great experience and would recommend him to everyone! One of our favorite vendors we had the pleasure of working with.

    Justin was amazing!

    We had such a great experience with Justin from start to finish! From the very beginning of the planning process, he really took the time to listen to what we wanted and understand the vibe we were going for. He was also incredibly helpful in guiding us through the areas we weren’t quite sure about, which made the planning process so much easier. The music was amazing, and our guests were on the dance floor all night long! He did such a great job reading the room and keeping the energy going without ever feeling forced. We truly feel like he played a huge part in making our reception such a fun and memorable night. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and would absolutely recommend him to anyone planning their wedding!

On the day of, Justin brought an incredible energy that kept our guests dancing all night long. He truly understood the assignment and matched the crowd's energy perfectly. Justin's skills as a DJ were top-tier - he was the best we've ever seen, seamlessly transitioning between genres and reading the room to keep the party going.     The absolute best!

    Justin was our DJ for our wedding two weeks ago. I appreciated that he was organized during the planning process and reachable. During our wedding, he kept our guests as well as my husband and I entertained and on the dance floor! I absolutely recommend Mobile DJ Direct!

    If I could give 10 stars, I would!

    I absolutely loved working with Justin! He did a fantastic job in the lead up to the wedding, and was very easy to talk to and to ask any questions to. He was so kind and easy to work with. During the wedding, he did an absolutely fantastic job and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole time. I would recommend Justin to anyone!

Absolutely. We encourage our clients to shape their own soundtrack. You’ll get access to our mobile planning app where you can add must-plays, do-not-plays, import playlists, and even collect guest requests with a custom link. You give us the vibe — we handle the flow.
Our founder and lead DJ, Justin Mann, has been DJing weddings and nightclubs across the Southeast — from Florida to Virginia — since 2012. Every DJ on our team comes from a professional night club and wedding background. In addition, the team has been trained in Justin’s exact method for live mixing, crowd control, vendor coordination, and timeline flow. Whether Justin or a team member is behind the booth, you’ll get the same polished experience.
All 3 of our packages include: - A modern all-white setup (white DJ booth, white speakers, white lighting fixtures) - Pro-grade sound system and wireless mics - DJ controlled, Beat-Sync Light Bar - Mobile app planning for music, name pronunciations and timeline cues - Vendor coordination and cue syncing before the wedding - Early arrival and full setup/breakdown - Upgrades like ceremony sound, uplighting, tube lights, moving head lights and lighting totems are included in our higher-tier packages.
For weddings, our three all-inclusive packages start at $1,995 and go up depending on your timeline and enhancements. Most couples invest between $2,300 and $3,900. To lock in your date, it’s just a $500 down payment with an e-signed contract. After that, 50% of the remaining balance is due 6 months before your wedding, and the final payment is due 3 months out. You can always make adjustments or upgrades after signing a contract.
Cheaper DJs often cut corners — outdated gear, auto-run lighting, minimal planning, and no real mixing skills. They can’t read a room, blend genres, or keep energy high, so the party falls flat. We deliver a full-service, elevated experience: live beat-synced lighting, clean all-white setups, and seamless coordination with your planner and media team. It’s not just music — it’s a once-in-a-lifetime celebration done right.
Your wedding, your rules. Line dances are optional and only played if you ask. Every music decision is guided by your preferences in our planning app. This includes music requests, must-plays, do-not-plays, etc. Plus, we will discuss your vibe and music in detail at our final Zoom planning meeting.
No. Announcements are clean, modern, and professional, following a detailed script customized to your day. We don’t tell jokes or make it about us—we keep everything flowing so you get the most dance floor time possible.
About 2–3 weeks before the wedding, once your planner has finalized the timeline. You’ll receive an email 30 days out with a link to schedule your final Zoom meeting at a time that works best for you.
Yes — travel outside the Triangle is billed at $75 per hour one way. For weddings more than 2 hours from Raleigh, or weddings ending after 11 PM more than 90 minutes away, a hotel stay is required. Hotel is billed at $175/night, booked by us.
Yes — we carry full liability insurance and can provide a COI to your venue.
Absolutely — all introductions, announcements, and formalities are included. Every detail will be planned in our mobile app and final Zoom meeting.
Yes — additional calls or meetings are always welcome.
We have trusted backup DJs who share our professionalism and mixing ability. This is extremely rare but fully covered.
Because our availability is limited, we’re unable to offer service-based discounts, though we’re incredibly grateful for military members and first responders.
