Hi! My name is Abby Law, owner of Abby Law Photography! I was born & raised in Grand Rapids MI, but for the the last seven years, I have been living in Tennessee. I am based out of the Nashville area! I have been working in the wedding industry since Oct 2022, and I have loved every second of it! I married the love of my life in Dec 2023 which only made my heart swell more & more for not only photography and this business of mine, but for the deeper meaning of marriage itself, and what it truly means to marry your Beloved! Although I am primarily based in Nashville, I LOVE to travel, and will travel to wherever you are!

When I became a wedding photographer, I promised myself I wasn't going to do it just for the paycheck. I promised myself to always keep the passion for making each experience unique and authentic to each couple. I love capturing the sentiments that tell YOUR story. Although poses have their place and are important for some parts of the day, my primary focus is on capturing the little details you won't want to miss. In my personal experience, this is the fastest moving and yet most special day of one's life, and it's my job (and truly my honor!) to make sure I've told the TRUE story of your day through the photographs I get to capture!

    My Favorite photos ever

    Abby Law Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding day. From the moment we connected, Abby's communication was kind, effective, and thoughtful. Her work is truly incredible - her artistic eye captured our day in the most beautiful, sentimental way. Abby came to our elopement at the very last minute when we couldn't find another photographer, which was such a gift.     We had an amazing experience!

    BEST COUPLE PHOTOS !

    Abby was a GEM to work with and took incredible couple photos of my husband and I! We have done two different shoots with her and they both have been so much fun! We got TONS of incredible photos that we’ve used for Christmas cards, invitations, etc. ! Her editing and posing skills are through the roof and my husband (out of all people!!!!) was itching to do another shoot with her because of how much HE loved the pics! :) We are so thankful for the gorgeous pictures! Abby is one of the best to work with :)

Typically, couples book me anywhere from 6 months - 13 months before their wedding date, although you can always check if I'm available if your wedding is under 6 months or over 13 months. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 10-12 weeks after your wedding.
I bring a second shooter with me at no extra cost to my 6-10 hour weddings. If your wedding is under 6 hours, a second shooter is available at an extra cost.
