Kadijah "Kandi" Oliver is a native of Ozark, Alabama. She graduated from the University of South Alabama and serves in the military. She is the lead photographer at Kandi Kam Photography. She specializes in portraits, weddings, engagements, real estate/commercial properties, and more. She desires to freeze moments in time for her clients to memorize. She has become a trailblazer of her generation, which she doesn't take for granted. She uses each opportunity to be a blessing to others.     She’s absolutely wonderful!

    Kandi Kam was fantastic to work with! She was the photographer for my wedding and she was the sweetest with my family and friends and she even helped me calm the nerves while getting ready. She is very skilled and professional in her craft. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone!

    I absolutely love the work that they did. I felt so heard when I gave my list of shots I wanted. I love the sneak peeks I got (the very next day) they were stunning and I’m so excited to see the other photos. Definitely highly recommend them. They are well worth their price.

    Great photographer!

    Provided very professional services, super easy to work with. We used photography services for our engagement, bridal, and wedding photos. She is not big on poses which made each photo special because she was able to capture each photo perfectly right in the moment. She a good eye for what makes a great picture. My husband and I enjoyed working with her.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
You can expect up to 80 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Unfortunately, the remainder payment is due 30 days before the wedding date. We understand the day of the wedding is very busy and want you to enjoy your moment, instead of worrying about paying us on that day.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online within 8 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect high-resolution images for sneak peeks, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
As a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
We do offer packages that offers videography. We are partnered with an amazing wedding videographer.
Typically, couples book me about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
If you would need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us within 48 hours of the scheduled date. If you would need to cancel, the 50% retainer is non-refundable and any additional monies are eligible for credit or refund based on a case by case basis. All monies paid to Kandi Kam Photography are non-refundable, but we are open to discussing a resolution on any additional payments made outside of the 50% non-refundable retainer. If you need to reschedule, please let us know right away. We offer our clients one (1) rescheduling date, if the date needs to be scheduled again, we would discuss further details on the process.
Yes, we do offer custom packages for our clients outside of our standard packages. If you would prefer a custom package, we would schedule a 1:1 to discuss your needs and provide a quote for the services that you would need.
Absolutely! I wouldn't miss your wedding for anything! I have a passion to capture beautiful love. Don't be surprised if you see me capturing the moment and a small tear shed. I am excited for you and this opportunity!
I do not book two weddings in one day! My time is devoted to you and your significant other to celebrate and capture your moment. I never want to take away the moment from my clients. It's rare that I would book two weddings in one weekend.
I do require a meal break for events over five (5) hours. I do take short breaks to hydrate and eat small snacks if needed. Clients have the option to provide a meal for the photographer or allow the photographer a one (1) hour meal break to travel and get a meal. Don't worry, we minimize breaks to make sure we capture all important moments.
We do charge travel fees for weddings outside of a 50 mile radius from our location. Our travel fee is calculated by miles. We charge $0.51 per mile. Some locations are eligible for travel fee exemptions, but that would be discussed during our scheduled consultation.
With our CEO being military, we do offer 15% discounts to all military personnel. Proof of service must be provided in our to redeem discount.
