I’m Katie Tinker, Owner of Wildflowers Elegant Events. I am the wife of a Wildland Firefighter and a mama to two precious little boys & a furbaby who have stolen my heart forever. I fell in love with wedding/event planning while planning my own wedding 7 years ago. While most feel event planning to be stressful and full of anxiety I find it to be exciting and fulfilling. I am looking forward to working with you to bring your event dreams to life. And in doing that, it is my mission to make it easy, stress free, fun and an exciting journey for you.

I want to help create this to be a fun process for you and when you look back on wedding planning I promise you won’t frown about it. I have open communication with my clients from time of booking, text, call, email me! Let's not wait for the 30, 90 days to get here for you to get to know me! Katie went absolutely above and beyond for us as our wedding coordinator!! She was with us every step of the way and was always available to hop on a quick call to go over details. She made us feel so taken care of during what can be such a stressful and chaotic time. I truly can't thank her enough for how on top of everything she was and how much she handled for us behind the scenes. On the wedding day, she completely blew us away--arriving early, staying on top of every detail, and making sure both we and all of our vendors had everything we needed at all times. Honestly, I don't know what we would have done without her. If anything didn't go according to plan, I would have never known because Katie had everything handled which is exactly what you want in a coordinator. Not to mention, she is so easy to talk to and brings such a fun, positive energy while still keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule. I'm beyond grateful we found her and would 100% recommend her to anyone. Thank you again for making our day (and entire weekend) so special, we appreciate you so much!!! Love- Amanda Zachary

Best decision I made for my wedding day
I got married this past may and hired Katie for day of coordinator, but if I could go back in time and hire her for full wedding planner I would a thousand times over. To say she is the best is such an understatement ,she Is phenomenal. Through out my whole wedding process she made everything so easy. She is so knowledgeable and when I needed help with finding a florist or officiant, Katie was only one text away. On my wedding day she was right by my side every step of the way !! I know a 100% that my wedding wouldn’t have been as great as it was without Katie . My venue manager let me know that she was best coordinator that they have ever worked with. Katie has tons of experience and it definitely shows. Anyone who hires her will not be disappointed in any way. She is the kindest and nicest wedding coordinator/ planner out there.

Katie made our wedding day amazing!
We had such a wonderful experience working with Katie as our wedding planner. From the very beginning, she was reliable, organized, and incredibly easy to communicate with. Throughout the entire planning process, we always felt comfortable reaching out with questions or bouncing ideas off of her, and she was consistently responsive and thoughtful in her feedback. Katie is not only dependable, but also incredibly creative. One of the things we appreciated most was her honesty especially when it came to our budget. She gave us clear, practical guidance on where it made sense to invest and where we could save, which helped us prioritize what truly mattered without feeling overwhelmed. Her experience in the industry was evident in the strong vendor relationships she’s built. She knows so many great vendors from all areas such as hair/makeup and signage. She got to know us so she was able to provide trusted recommendations that fit our style and budget. Having someone with those connections made the process so much smoother and gave us a lot of confidence in the team we assembled. As with any wedding, a few difficulties inevitably came up along the way, but Katie handled them calmly and professionally. She was proactive, stepped in to contact vendors on our behalf when needed, and worked behind the scenes to resolve issues before they became stressful for us. As the wedding day approached, she made sure every detail was accounted for confirming timelines, vendors, and logistics so everything was organized and ready for the big day. Most importantly, Katie was someone we could truly depend on. She was steady, supportive, and calm not only during the months of planning but especially on the day of our wedding. She was someone we could lean on every step of the way, and knowing she was there allowed us to fully relax and enjoy such a special time in our lives. We are so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding so special and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a planner they can trust.

Best decision we made
Working with Katie from Wildflowers Elegant Events was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From day one, she brought incredible organization, calm energy, and genuine care that made the entire planning process feel manageable. Katie was always five steps ahead, catching details and guiding us through every decision with so much thoughtfulness. On the wedding weekend, she was an absolute superstar. The timeline ran flawlessly, vendors were managed seamlessly, and every space looked exactly how we envisioned it—if not better. We were able to be fully present with our guests because we knew Katie had everything handled. Multiple people told us it was the smoothest, most beautifully orchestrated wedding they’d ever attended, and that is 100% thanks to her. We had to plan and execute a rain plan last minute and she worked to coordinate vendors to make sure everything was rearranged and we really could not have accomplished that without her. We are so grateful to have had Katie on our team and would recommend her in a heartbeat.

The best coordinator in SoCal!
Book Katie and you won’t regret it! She is one of the most organized people I’ve ever met (and that’s coming from someone who is type-a) and will ensure that everything goes smoothly and take all the stress off your shoulders on the big day. To top it off, she is an absolute delight and such a gem to work with. If you want to enjoy your special day, then hire Katie! Cannot recommend her enough!
