I’m Katie Tinker, Owner of Wildflowers Elegant Events. I am the wife of a Wildland Firefighter and a mama to two precious little boys & a furbaby who have stolen my heart forever. I fell in love with wedding/event planning while planning my own wedding 7 years ago. While most feel event planning to be stressful and full of anxiety I find it to be exciting and fulfilling. I am looking forward to working with you to bring your event dreams to life. And in doing that, it is my mission to make it easy, stress free, fun and an exciting journey for you.

I want to help create this to be a fun process for you and when you look back on wedding planning I promise you won’t frown about it. I have open communication with my clients from time of booking, text, call, email me! Let's not wait for the 30, 90 days to get here for you to get to know me! Hiring Katie was THE BEST wedding planning decision we made! When we started planning our wedding, I really thought I was going to do everything myself (LOL). We found our venue first and they told us that they require at least a day of coordinator. After communicating with the venue for a bit we soon realized why, and after trying to do everything myself and realizing that was insane, I am SO grateful that we hired a coordinator and even more grateful that it was Katie. I found Katie on Zola and from our first virtual meeting with her we knew that she was the perfect person to help with our wedding! Katie was incredibly warm & friendly, super detail oriented, and I could immediately tell that she is very experienced in her craft. Katie starts working with you 12 weeks before the wedding & allows unlimited communication which I think is quite rare for coordinators but enables you to build a connection with her. Anything we needed help with, Katie was there to advise us along the way! At our venue walk-through Katie spotted some more red flags from our venue and quietly noted them, reassuring us that she would prepare and make sure everything went smoothly the day of. She made us feel so at ease knowing our wedding day was in her hands. During the planning process she helped with everything from reading our venue contract, ensuring they had the correct numbers for tables/chairs/linens, helping us with design details like linen colors and chair styles, answering all of our questions about how many songs we need for the ceremony, how long songs/speeches should be, etc. She gave us some really special & personal design ideas like having custom Mr & Mrs mugs made for our coffee at the reception since my husband and I don’t drink. She even introduced us to our photographer/videographer who was also incredible and so our style. Throughout the whole process she really got to know us and you can just tell she really cares about her couples and absolutely loves what she does. A few weeks before the wedding, Katie has you fill out a decor document where you put photos and describe each item you are bringing and where/how you would like it set up. Our document ended up being 26 pages long LOL. I had a very specific vision for my wedding day & Katie and her team executed it PERFECTLY!!! They were so sweet and even noticed that it was a bit windy of a day so they waited until the last moment to put out a special vase from my grandparents wedding to ensure that nothing happened to it. Just the thought and care and attention to detail from Katie and her team is unmatched. In addition to the setup, Katie coordinated the entire day, wrangling our families for the photos, ensuring everything with the venue ran smoothly, and even dealing with one of our other vendors who was incredibly difficult to work with (who we regretfully hired on our own - NOT a vendor recommend by Katie) and she handled it like a professional and a mom! At the end of the night, Katie and her team broke down and packed up all of our decor for us, again taking so much care to make sure that any of our delicate, special pieces were well taken care of. Our wedding day was genuinely the best day of our lives, much thanks to Katie and her team! At the end of the night I actually started feeling post wedding depression because I knew that our time with Katie as our wedding coordinator was coming to a close LOL. HIRE KATIE! You will absolutely not regret it. She is THE BEST.

Katie was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was easy, responsive, and thoughtful, putting us at ease throughout the entire planning process. She was incredibly organized, straightforward, and communicative, ensuring that every detail was taken care of so we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of. Thanks to her and her assistant’s help, our wedding day went off without a hitch and was completely stress-free - we were able to simply enjoy the moment and celebrate our love with our family and friends. Not only did we have a great time working with her, all the vendors we talked to loved her! She really went above and beyond our expectations. We have nothing but absolute appreciation for Katie and her team. Katie and her team were our guardian angels on our special day. We thought we could handle things ourselves, but as the day grew closer we realized we couldn’t do it alone - and we stumbled upon Katie’s page. She was our absolute lifesaver. Not only was she extremely timely, transparent, and professional from the start, but she was also super welcoming, friendly and fun to work with. We clicked with Katie instantly, and knew we had to book her for our wedding. Katie understood our vision and brought it to life so seamlessly. She was extremely thorough through every part of the process and literally thought of EVERYTHING. Believe us, there’s something you missed on your list - but don’t worry, Katie didn’t! She also handled our vendors for us - especially the difficult ones. Honestly, we don’t know what would have happened if it wasn’t for her. Our day flowed so well, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Katie and her team. She made us feel like the priority when we were worried about the guests. She handled anything and everything that came up so gracefully - and she still won’t tell us what went wrong! Her main goal is to make sure that the day is perfect for the newlyweds and thanks to her our day was for us. She even took the time to put plates together for us to make sure we ate, or at least had access to food. Believe us, if someone doesn’t put a plate in front of you, good luck getting a bite in - your day is going to be packed. We are still receiving compliments on how well the day went, how smooth everything flowed together. Anyone we know that is engaged is already being referred to her. Choosing Katie as our Wedding Coordinator was one of the, if not the absolute best decision we could have made.

Katie Tinker from Wildflower Elegant Events was my wedding planner and coordinator, and I truly can't imagine my wedding day without her! From our first meeting, Katie's passion and dedication were evident. She took the time to understand my vision, and her attention to detail was impeccable. She anticipated needs I hadn't even considered and handled every aspect of the planning process with professionalism and grace. On the day of the wedding, Katie was an absolute rockstar. She ensured everything ran smoothly, from coordinating vendors to managing the timeline to ruffling my dress. Any unexpected hiccups were handled seamlessly, allowing me to relax and fully enjoy every moment. Her calm demeanor, fun attitude, and sharp problem-solving skills were invaluable. Katie went above and beyond in so many ways. She was organized, communicative, and always available to answer my questions. Her support and guidance were truly a gift, and she made the entire experience so much less stressful. She also helped calm me down when nerves were high on multiple occasions. She reminded me about what really matters and what doesn't and helped instantly make a difference in my emotional state.
