I’m Katie Tinker, Owner of Wildflowers Elegant Events. I am the wife of a Wildland Firefighter and a mama to two precious little boys & a furbaby who have stolen my heart forever. I fell in love with wedding/event planning while planning my own wedding 7 years ago. While most feel event planning to be stressful and full of anxiety I find it to be exciting and fulfilling. I am looking forward to working with you to bring your event dreams to life. And in doing that, it is my mission to make it easy, stress free, fun and an exciting journey for you.

I want to help create this to be a fun process for you and when you look back on wedding planning I promise you won’t frown about it. I have open communication with my clients from time of booking, text, call, email me! Let's not wait for the 30, 90 days to get here for you to get to know me! BEST OF THE BEST
October 17, 2026 Escondido, CA Katie is truly the BEST of the best! We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Katie! She went above and beyond for our wedding, and we are so incredibly grateful that we had her by our side throughout the entire process. From start to finish, Katie was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding coordinator and more. One of the biggest examples of just how incredible Katie is happened on our actual wedding day when our venue unexpectedly lost power. While this could have easily turned into a stressful and overwhelming situation, Katie never once made us feel worried. She immediately jumped into action, had a backup plan ready to go, and did everything in her power to ensure our wedding day ran as smoothly as possible. Her calm demeanor, professionalism, and ability to handle the unexpected gave us so much peace of mind and allowed us to stay present and enjoy one of the most important days of our lives. We will forever be grateful for how she handled that situation. Although Katie was our month-of coordinator, she made it clear from the very beginning that she was there to support us whenever we needed her. Throughout the wedding planning process, anytime I encountered a hiccup, had a question, or needed guidance, Katie was always there to help. She provided thoughtful recommendations, communicated consistently, answered every question thoroughly, and made me feel supported every step of the way. Her communication is truly exceptional, and it was so reassuring knowing we had someone we could count on. Katie is also incredibly organized, thorough, and detail-oriented. Every document, every detail, and our entire wedding day timeline were thoughtfully organized and easy to navigate. She made the entire process feel manageable and seamless, and it was clear how much care and attention she puts into her work. She truly thinks of everything, and her dedication to making sure every detail is taken care of does not go unnoticed. Not only were Bryce and I blown away by Katie, but both of our families were equally impressed and grateful for the incredible work she did. Having someone so dependable, caring, and genuinely invested in making our day special made all the difference. Katie went above and beyond what we ever expected, and we honestly cannot imagine our wedding day without her. Couldn’t Have Done It Without Katie!!!
We hired Katie as our coordinator for our October 2026 wedding, and we absolutely loved working with her! It was her first time working with our venue, but you truly never would have known it with how prepared and on top of everything she was. Katie was so supportive throughout the entire planning process. As someone who likes to get into the details, I really appreciated that she always made sure we knew what was happening, what was coming next, and what she needed from us. As a Type A person, it was so comforting to know we could fully count on her to execute our vision and make sure everything went smoothly leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. On our wedding day, Katie was constantly 10 steps ahead. It honestly felt like she could read our minds. If we needed water, we would turn around and there she was with it before we even had to ask! She worked so well with all of our other vendors and made everything feel seamless behind the scenes, which allowed us to just enjoy the day. Beyond being incredibly organized and professional, Katie was genuinely so excited for us throughout the entire process. She brought such positive, supportive energy, and that is exactly the kind of person you want by your side on your wedding day. Even members of our wedding party were asking for her information for when they get married because they could see how great she was! Best planner EVER
Hiring Katie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning we felt so much support throughout this crazy process. On our wedding day, she made everything feel seamless. Every detail was handled so effortlessly behind the scenes that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing because Katie had every single thing handled no matter how big or small. She has an incredible ability to stay calm under pressure and that energy made me feel so at ease all day long. What stood out even more was how many compliments she received from everyone around us. Our family couldn’t stop talking about how amazing she was and multiple vendors told us she was one of the best planners they had ever worked with. If you’re looking for a wedding planner who is organized, experienced, and truly passionate about what she does, I cannot recommend Katie enough. She played such a huge role in making our wedding day absolutely perfect, and we are so grateful for everything she did. We couldn’t have imagined our day without her. She is truly exceptional. Katie went absolutely above and beyond for us as our wedding coordinator!! She was with us every step of the way and was always available to hop on a quick call to go over details. She made us feel so taken care of during what can be such a stressful and chaotic time. I truly can't thank her enough for how on top of everything she was and how much she handled for us behind the scenes. On the wedding day, she completely blew us away--arriving early, staying on top of every detail, and making sure both we and all of our vendors had everything we needed at all times. Honestly, I don't know what we would have done without her. If anything didn't go according to plan, I would have never known because Katie had everything handled which is exactly what you want in a coordinator. Not to mention, she is so easy to talk to and brings such a fun, positive energy while still keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule. Best decision I made for my wedding day
I got married this past may and hired Katie for day of coordinator, but if I could go back in time and hire her for full wedding planner I would a thousand times over. To say she is the best is such an understatement ,she Is phenomenal. Through out my whole wedding process she made everything so easy. She is so knowledgeable and when I needed help with finding a florist or officiant, Katie was only one text away. On my wedding day she was right by my side every step of the way !! I know a 100% that my wedding wouldn’t have been as great as it was without Katie . My venue manager let me know that she was best coordinator that they have ever worked with. Katie has tons of experience and it definitely shows. Anyone who hires her will not be disappointed in any way. She is the kindest and nicest wedding coordinator/ planner out there.
