I’m Katie Tinker, Owner of Wildflowers Elegant Events. I am the wife of a Wildland Firefighter and a mama to two precious little boys & a furbaby who have stolen my heart forever. I fell in love with wedding/event planning while planning my own wedding 7 years ago. While most feel event planning to be stressful and full of anxiety I find it to be exciting and fulfilling. I am looking forward to working with you to bring your event dreams to life. And in doing that, it is my mission to make it easy, stress free, fun and an exciting journey for you.

I want to help create this to be a fun process for you and when you look back on wedding planning I promise you won’t frown about it. I have open communication with my clients from time of booking, text, call, email me! Let's not wait for the 30, 90 days to get here for you to get to know me!     Katie with Wildflowers Elegant Events was an absolute pleasure to work with! We didn't initially plan on hiring a coordinator as I am an Event Planner as a career, but we decided somewhat last minute to hire a day of coordinator so that we could focus on enjoying our special day, and I am SO glad we did! Katie jumped right in and helped us finalize the last few vendors and details that we still had left to do. She kept us on track and made sure we had all the necessary decisions and details figured out in time, and assisted with recommendations as needed. As we got a week or so out, we were getting worried about the weather and she was monitoring the weather daily with us to figure out what to do as our venue was all outdoors. She assisted us with the logistics and contacts of renting last minute tents which worked out beautifully. On the day of, in addition to keeping us sane and making sure we had time to really appreciate the day, she and her team ran point with all the vendors as they arrived, put out the decor that we had brought, and kept us on schedule for all the different parts of the day from first look photos, to ceremony, and reception, and assisted with gathering up all the decor and items at the end of the night so that we could enjoy the day and be present. Our day was absolutely perfect, and we have Katie to thank for that!

    Full transparency when I say that I would recommend Wildflower Elegant Events to anyone! I feel so lucky that my husband and I were able to work with Katie! She went above and beyond in all areas. Whenever I had a question, she was quick to respond. If I needed anything, Katie was there! Do you get where I am going with this? In my opinion, our wedding flowed seamlessly. I don’t remember a point of my wedding when there wasn’t a smile on my face. We got lots of laughs in the beginning, during and after our wedding all because we worked with Katie! Can’t say enough about Katie!!

    As the MOB (mother of the bride) I knew I wanted my daughter’s wedding to be a day that we all enjoyed thoroughly. I didn’t want to worry about the little details on the big day and that is exactly what Katie did for us. From helping us select the table linens, setting up the tables on the day of, to working with all of the vendors and packing everything at the end of the evening. Katie checked in with me throughout the evening to see if I needed anything. All in all, the whole day was stress free and was perfect and Katie made sure of that. She is so easy to work with and is organized. I can’t say enough about Katie and her business. Very professional, thorough and a joy to work with.
