When you’re in the business of bringing people together, it never feels like work. Calmerin Designs and Events (CDE) is an event planning and coordinating company. We are a family-owned and operated business. CDE was born after many requests from friends and family to offer our love for hosting events to a service we can provide to others. The CDE squad has planned intimate affairs for 10 guests to more elaborate weddings for 500 guests.

We create personalized events that are a reflection of each client’s unique style and personality. We work with you from start to finish, pick up from somewhere in between your planning process, to bring life to your vision, or just ensure that your day flows smoothly by coordinating details on the day.

Description	The Pearl Package: This is the whole shabang, the mother of all wedding planning. So epic, we named it after my mother, Perla (cute, huh? Can I get a daughter of the year award?). Package includes The Jade Package.	The Opal: This is like when you thought you can do it all but like half-way in and 5 cases of wine later, you're carving SOS on your coffee table. We fill in the rest of the gaps for you. Package includes The Jade Package.	The Jade Package: Starts 3-6 Weeks before your wedding day!

Couldn’t be happier with the Calmerin team!
My husband and I are so grateful for Glennie and her team for all of their amazing work on our wedding, and we could not recommend them more. We chose the “Partial Planning” package, since we had chosen our own vendors already and wanted help putting it all together, and then of course executing the day. They delivered on that job with professionalism, clarity, and kindness. And the price for the package was super reasonable! Our main coordinator was Lauren, who is a total dream to work with. She’s friendly, intelligent, and so good at just taking care of whatever needs to be done that one of our DJs asked us, “Is Lauren former Secret Service? She’s somehow everywhere at once.” We felt totally taken care of by her. She worked with us every step of the way from the day we brought her and the team on board to make sure everyone choice we made could be done, offering suggestions when it was appropriate. Partway through the process, our other partial planner had to leave for another opportunity, and Glennie (who runs the company) stepped in to take over for her without missing a beat. We had a somewhat tricky logistical situation because our venue did not open very early and had a hard curfew, but Lauren and Glennie ensured everything was executed perfectly in the days leading up to the wedding and then on the day itself. We strongly felt that the level of quality and the amount of time and effort they spent was worth more than we paid for their services. Calmerin’s commitment to having on-site staff who know the area and have relationships with various vendors was a huge help. We also appreciated working with a multilingual team! If you’re looking for planners who can do everything on the backend so you can let your creative & romantic vision shine and not worry about anything logistical, we highly recommend Glennie, Lauren, and the whole Calmerin team. We are eternally grateful to them and will be talking up their business to all of our friends getting married in California!

5 gold stars, I WILL be recommending Calmerin Designs to everyone I know! I worked mainly with Glennie and Chanelle and they are AMAZING. Their communication was on point, they were SO helpful with communicating with the vendors, and made my day of an absolute dream. I cannot recommend them enough - they made it a point to get to know us and were incredibly detailed and thorough.

Best Planning Team
I cannot iterate enough how much of a lifesaver this planning team is. We had day-of coordination services with this team, but they were there coordinating our vendors months ahead of time. Chanelle and Alexis had phenomenal communication and organization both leading up to the event and day of. They helped make things go so smoothly on our special day and helped realize our vision. I wish I can rate them higher than 5 stars

The Dream Team!
From our first conversation with Calmerin Designs and Events, we knew we had found our planners. Their communication was fast and informative, and they answered every question with real knowledge about what works for weddings. On the day of, they arrived ready to take charge and thought of literally everything—from the smallest details to the big picture flow of the event. It was clear they had done this hundreds of times before and knew exactly how to handle any situation. We felt like we could trust them with anything, and we didn't have to worry about a single thing once they were there. Lifesavers!!
We cannot say enough good things about Calmerin Events, specifically Cassandra and Andrea. When they got involved and began meeting with us to iron out details for our special day, they put us at ease and walked us through every detail. We trusted their judgement and LOVED the results. On the day of, they were our main point of contacts to not just make sure things went smoothly with vendors, but they took care of all of our needs and even got us food/drinks throughout the night. Hiring them was the best investment of the entire wedding process!
