YU & US Events
We're a happily married couple that's been through the same process you're about to enter into, and we're seeking to help others capture their most special day—without fussing over the details. We fell in love in 2012 and haven’t looked back since. Together we bring you 20+ years of experience in having and creating fun, and YU & US was created as an embodiment of our partnership today. Jane’s love for personalized, bespoke weddings and events, coupled with Jon’s passion for finding and blasting the best tunes, is the winning combination any client would want for their special occasion.
We have planned and DJed many clients’ weddings and events, but it wasn’t after we planned our own wedding in November 2018 that we understood the true stressful reality of planning. Because of this and because we own this business together, we empathize with the strain wedding planning sometimes puts on engaged couples. We know how much of a pain it can be to plan for your special day—and how much joy you can experience by doing it right. Why not let us help you bring your dreams to life?

| Description | Destination weddings are special - we see it as a moment for all of your close friends and family to essentially take a vacation and have a great experience together. There's a lot of planning involved not for the day, but typically for a weekend at minimum. | Our starting fee for full-service planning is $9,850. If your budget exceeds $98,500, our fee will increase to 10% of the total budget. | This package is consultation + month-of planning - it is designed for clients who want to be very hands-on with their wedding planning but want close guidance from an expert along the way. It is the most customizable out of our packages for a couple’s planning needs. We can assist with a few of the selected services, depending which tier you choose. | |

Dream Wedding with Yu & Us
Yu & Us were wonderful to work with for our wedding day! I started working with them a few months before our wedding and they led us across the finish line. Jane managed all vendor comms, scheduling, and event execution. She was available to answer any questions we had and provided us with the best recommendations. I felt super confident with her leading all the elements for the wedding. On the day of our wedding, her team over-delivered on expectations. From running back to the hotel to get my husband's speech to grabbing me snacks when I didn't eat, Yu and Us were miracle workers! No task was too small and they executed everything flawlessly. They take care of everything so you can enjoy one of the most special days of your life. I cannot imagine our wedding without Jane, Jon, and Jenny. They are great people and made the planning process less stressful. Don't think, just work with Yu and Us for your event!
All that we could have hoped for
As the title of the review suggests, Jane and Jon were all that my wife and I could have hoped for in wedding planners/coordinators. They were not only professional but also personable. They took initiative to get the ball rolling while keeping us in the loop. They strike the balance of being helpful and active perfectly in a way that does not feel judgmental or invasive. I would recommend them to all I come across. It’d be difficult to find anyone better than them!
Couldn't Have Asked For A Better Planner And DJ!
Personally, we found the idea of planning a wedding (even the smaller version we were contemplating) to be completely overwhelming. Planning any kind of event, much less a wedding, is not our forte. By sheer luck, we came across reviews for Yu & Us, checked out their website, and decided to give them a call. I am so glad we did. Jane and Jon were absolutely wonderful to work with. This may sound corny, but Jane really did make the planning process easy and fun. She took the time to get to know us, learn what mattered to us most for the wedding, and make sure those aspects were prioritized. She never tried to push any type of vision on us and was always able to answer any questions we had. Throughout the planning process, she made sure that everything was organized and on schedule. She was also amazing at handling everything the day of. Because of the incredible job she did, our wedding was stress-free and the best party we could ask for.
They nailed it!
Jane was a true professional from start to finish and beyond. She helped us set realistic expectations, stay organized, and kept us on track. She was transparent, systematic, and a great communicator. Planning a wedding can at times be extremely stressful but Jane had it all under control and it made all the difference keeping me sane and feeling good about everything. On the day of the wedding, everything went perfectly and it was because of her and her team. There were some curveballs thrown but she handled them with grace and like a boss! The night went seamlessly. Shout out to Jenni and Joseph for all their planning and coordinating help! They were rockstars. Jane was more than a planner, by the end of it, she become one of our biggest cheerleaders and friends. Highly recommend Yu & Us!
