With over 20 years experience in Wedding and Event Planning, passionate is a great word to describe her. Ricki's passionate about helping people enjoy and celebrate their lives in every way possible. Ricki brings a myriad of experience to the table including training and certification from the prestigious “Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants,” graphic and fashion design, top-notch organizational planning skills, extensive world traveling AND development of the one-of-a-kind Planning Genie® App – available only for Special Event Genie clients.     Ricki Lewis was an absolute godsend in planning my daughter’s wedding. Her wealth of experience was invaluable. She has strong relationships with every imaginable vendor and venue, and her impeccable eye for detail extends from the tiniest touches, to the grandest design elements. Ricki planned a truly stunning wedding for us, kept everything on schedule, and was always prompt and responsive to every email, text, or call. She’s also a joy to be around—warm, upbeat, and endlessly patient. As someone who started with zero knowledge about planning a wedding, I was so grateful for the time and care she took to explain every option clearly. Because of Ricki, what could have been a stressful process became a joyful and lasting memory for our family.

    I wasn’t sure it was necessary to have the expense of a wedding planner, but after it was all over, I am happy I did. More importantly, like many relationships, I found the right wedding planner in Ricki Lewis and her team at Ricki Lewis Events. From start to finish, Ricki was amazing! Whenever help was needed, she couldn’t do enough. The three things that were most important to us were finding the right venue, having really good food, and making it the wedding I could afford. I’ve heard from friends that their planner tried to upsell everything. Ricki never pushed to the more expensive way. I found her to always be on top of her game – details were covered, and she was always in regular contact with me. That made everything less stressful. Ricki has become a friend, and I highly recommend her services!

    My now husband, Ken and I recently got married at our home in West Hollywood, CA. We had a bad experience with our first wedding planner but were blessed to have discovered Ricki Lewis, of Ricki Lewis Events, who thankfully became our wedding planner extraordinaire! From the moment we hired Ricki, she was hands on all the way from start to finish. Ricki was always available, extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of wedding planning (in our case a gay wedding), professional, creative and always a pleasure to work with. Getting married at our home (with 50 plus attendees) can bring its own unique challenges, but she literally transformed our home into the wedding of our dreams – implementing exactly the design, vibe and look we had imagined and more. Ricki created a fully designed floor plan, to scale, that included intricate details that we would have never thought to include. Further complicating matters, my husband and I reside in Washington, DC most of the year, but Ricki was a lifesaver and took care of so many things that would have made it impossible for us to do being so far away. Her attention to detail is impeccable. Her vendor recommendations and relationships are the best of the best – florist, DJ, photographer, catering, candles (over 300 of them) and more– she made it all seamless. When it comes to last minute issues that inevitably come up, she is on it immediately and miraculously makes it happen (like creating personalized framed specialty drinks signs hours before our wedding, as well as handling countless other last-minute details). Ken and I are so appreciative of Ricki and her very talented team. They are the absolute best in the business, and she is the reason our wedding was the dream wedding we both experienced. Ricki Lewis Events deserves more than 5 stars, and we recommend Ricki and Ricki Lewis Events without hesitation – you will be in the best of hands! Thank you, Ricki and Team!
