    Unpaid Work to Staff Members

    I never thought I would have to make a post like this, but after making multiple attempts to resolve this matter privately, I feel it is important to share my experience so that other event professionals and future clients can make informed decisions. I worked as an Event Assistant for Infinite Designs at a wedding in Agoura Hills/Malibu, California in early June. I worked nearly 20 hours over two days, completed every responsibility assigned to me, and submitted my hours exactly as instructed. According to the Infinite Designs contractor agreement, contractors are paid weekly following event completion. Unfortunately, that did not happen. After payment became overdue, I was informed that event assistants would not be paid because the bride and groom had not paid the remaining balance on their contract. I was also told that multiple contractors had not been paid and that money from future events would be set aside until everyone was eventually paid. As of today, I have still not received payment, have not been given a firm payment date, and my follow-up messages have gone unanswered. That has been the most disappointing part of this experience. Beyond the payment issue, this was one of the most disorganized events I have ever worked. While I understand that every wedding has unexpected challenges, many of the issues I personally witnessed appeared to stem from poor organization. These included: • The seating chart was still being created as guests arrived, resulting in confusion during dinner seating. • Furniture was still being assembled and items labeled at the last minute. • Boxes and supplies were scattered throughout the venue with little organization. • Event assistants were not provided seating charts, table assignments, clear setup instructions, or an event timeline. • We were unexpectedly required to move ceremony chairs and tables approximately 500 feet across a field and uphill without carts or moving equipment, despite being told venue staff would handle it. • While carrying chairs by hand, assistants were told we were "too slow." • The florist's team ultimately shared their own food and drinks with the event staff. I understand that no event is perfect. However, what I cannot accept is completing the work I was hired to do and then being expected to wait indefinitely for payment because of a dispute between the event planner and their client. Contractors should not bear that financial burden after fulfilling their obligations. I am sharing this solely as my personal experience so that others can make informed decisions before accepting work or hiring this company. If this matter is resolved and I receive the payment I am owed, I will gladly update this post. Until then, based on my experience, I cannot recommend working with Infinite Designs.

    Thee Absolute Best Wedding Coordinator

    From the moment I hired Infinity for day-of coordination, I knew I was in good hands—but she completely exceeded every expectation I had and more. Although I initially booked her for day-of services, she began stepping in about a month prior, offering guidance, support, and reassurance during such an important time. That level of care alone speaks volumes about her dedication. Her communication is truly top-notch. She was responsive, organized, and always one step ahead, which gave me so much peace of mind throughout the process. Infinity doesn’t just coordinate—she genuinely cares about her brides, and it shows in every detail. On the wedding day, Infinity and her team were nothing short of exceptional. They were professional, calm, and incredibly efficient. They seamlessly stepped in and picked up the slack from the venue without missing a beat, ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. About a week before the wedding, we met to go over the design and layout of my reception space and tables. Seeing it all come to life on the day of was beyond anything I could have imagined. Every detail was executed beautifully. What impressed me the most was how she handled challenges. If there were any issues (and there always are), Infinity made sure I knew absolutely nothing about them in the moment. I was able to be fully present, stress-free, and truly enjoy my day. It wasn’t until we recapped afterward that I realized just how much she had managed behind the scenes. If you’re even considering hiring Infinity…stop thinking and just do it. She is worth every penny and more. I couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator, and I’m so grateful she was a part of such a special moment in my life.

    Wow, just WOW!!

    From the moment we booked Infinity and Infinite Designs, we knew we were in good hands. Their communication was always timely, professional, and super sweet. The attention to detail and creativity Infinity brought to our wedding was simply amazing - we couldn't have imagined our special day without her. She made sure every aspect of our timeline was executed flawlessly, from ensuring the venue was perfectly set up to making sure our vendors and photographers were in the right place at the right time. Infinity truly felt like part of our family, and we are so grateful for her calming presence and ability to handle any challenge that came up. We can't recommend Infinite Designs enough, and we would absolutely hire them again for another event - we just might have to plan another wedding just so we can work with Infinity once more!
