Desiree was our coordinator for our wedding this past June, and we would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a day-of wedding coordinator! Desiree made us feel comfortable and confident from our very first meeting with her via Zoom. She seemed knowledgeable about the wedding planning process and was also just super happy for us which made the year leading up to our wedding feel even more special. She was always responsive when we had questions and she absolutely KILLED it on the actual wedding day. She completely handled setup and even did our dinner tablescapes which turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. We did have one hiccup where there was a miscommunication and Desiree ended up not making it to our venue walkthrough a few weeks before the wedding, but it turned out fine since she already had familiarity with our venue and because we were able to answer all of the venue's questions ourselves. Anyway, this is just a small portion of what we loved about working with Desiree, but it's safe to say we feel great about our choice of wedding coordinator and would definitely go with Desiree if we had to do it all over again.

I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Where do we even start with Tavi -- she is perfect in every way!! She's that balanced blend that we all want in a planner of detailed, fun, and gets the job done. She was there for us every step of the way, but her magic really shined through when our venue had to change 2 days before the wedding. She immediately sprung into action, secured us an incredible new venue, and made sure all vendors were onboard with the new game plan, all without us having to lift a finger. We don't know what we would have done without Tavi and will certainly be recommending her to every single friend ever, until the end of time. On top of that final hour hero swoop, she made the whole wedding look GORGEOUS. There was not a single detail she missed. She took a random box of decorations we provided, and made a magical garden of eden out of it. I recently worked with Trang for a wedding at the Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades (I own a wedding DJ company). Trang's communication leading up to the event was extremely thorough, and really helped everything run smoothly the day of the wedding. Everything came together the day-of and the decor was beautiful. The timeline was on schedule the entire night. Trang was also pleasant and very easy to work with. I don’t even know where to begin. I am so pleased I went with Patrice and her team as my day of coordinator. She also did a lot more than just day of! She made plans for us and talked to all of the vendors, conducted our rehearsal, worked with the venue, and took care of all those nitty gritty details. I’m pretty type A and was probably emailing her more than I should have for only choosing the day of package (lol), but she always responded promptly and kindly to every little thing I had to say. Her team was so nice and so professional and they really made me feel like they cared about my wedding - like it was more than just the next job they had. Jackie was a truly incredible wedding coordinator. We really couldn't believe the value of her services. She understood our vision and executed it perfectly. Throughout our planning process, we had the autonomy we wanted to make decisions, but she would also gently jump in when we were missing a logistical necessity, and then provide us with options for how to proceed. This was invaluable. It was also amazing that we could select "a la carte" additional services for certain needs (e.g. furniture rentals) without having to commit to full-scale planning services. Jackie even ended up coordinating last minute DJ and bartender services for us. We had some custom touches and ideas, and she and her team pulled it all off exactly like we envisioned. Her team was awesome, and she is awesome. Highly recommend!

(Full disclaimer: This was before Jill’s prices went up.) I originally was looking for a day-of-coordinator for my wedding because my budget at the time was under 1k for one, but Jill gave me a great deal at the time to be a full on wedding planner as she was just starting her business. And I’m glad I went with that option because I didn’t realize how much goes into the type of wedding I wanted. If you’re having a wedding that has over 110 guests and has a lot of moving parts- you need to hire a wedding planner (with an assistant ideally). In hindsight, I think I would have paid a little extra for an assistant as well because there were some details in the reception that were overlooked-through no one’s fault- just a lot was going on that day. Thankfully, none of the guests noticed these missing details (Like the customized dessert bags that were never used, or candy that were still in boxes, the heaters not being put up on time -This was a November wedding, and the wedding cake missing its decorative flowers). But this was a learning experience, and overall, I’m thankful to have had Jill by my side, because I think things would have been much worse if I didn’t have her help. At one point, a second mariachi band showed up announced, but that was taken care of lol. I’m not sure what other wedding planners do, but I was happy that Jill allowed me the freedom to come up with the vision and design for my wedding, while she took care of the logistics and planning- like arranging video call meetups w/ the vendors and venue which helped a lot. It also helped that her schedule was flexible despite some personal family emergencies that happened during the process. I’m sure once her business grows more she will be able to get the extra help needed to plan much bigger, more fantastical weddings! Overall, I would recommend Jill as a wedding planner: She’s very down-to-earth, punctual (thank you for getting to the courthouse on time while I was running late) , professional, compassionate- took well to my notes, and concerns, and jumped to the occasion. I met Christina at a Bridal Expo and was amazed with the offered Day Of Coordination package. I was able to easily communicate my priorities on the special day and even share my wedding pet peeves to avoid. Christina was excellent at brainstorming ideas and suggested plenty of ways to approach a situation. When we worked on building the timeline together, she was very thorough and insightful. I sent her so many timeline revisions (as timing means EVERYTHING and it definitely matters), but Christina took them and made it look seamless. On the wedding day, Christina and her team (thank you Heather and Leanna!) made sure we were happy and stress-free. Our morning started with Heather running the errands of the busy morning and was the go-to person for myself and the wedding entourage. Heather was also able to help us create a floral bouquet we used for our ceremony offering. It turned out so beautiful! She did a terrific job. I was always reminded to take a bite of food and to stay hydrated while we were getting ready. Christina helped us execute the ribbon wand exit after our church ceremony. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Everyone had so much fun doing it. As for the reception, Ingobo was able to help set the table decorations- centerpieces, candles, name cards, order of guests, etc. Leanna was at our side making sure we were well-fed and no one pulled us away from the sweetheart table. She was able to give us reminders of the timeline and was very sweet. Overall, Christina and her team orchestrated our wedding day perfectly. We received many compliments from our guests stating they noticed how smooth the day went. Ingobo's Day of Coordination services made a huge impact on how we were able to enjoy our special day. My husband and I are truly grateful for hiring them as part of our wedding team.

Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. That included the procession of the church ceremony, the musical cues, the reception entrance order, the dj song list order, etc. She helped me create breakout schedules to give to each vendor so they all knew what part of the day mattered for them to take part in. Alex brought so much understanding and cultural awareness to our wedding. She respected the way that weddings are done in Egypt, Lebanon, and America, and helped me blend certain moments from each tradition into our wedding. Every special moment flowed. I truly couldn’t imagine how the day would have went without her. She gave me peace of mind, comfort, and support that made me feel extremely take care of on the most important day of my life.

Our day was perfect!  Amy and James were so professional, detail oriented, friendly, caring and all the things we needed them to be for our big day.  Amy confirmed with all the vendors, was available whenever needed for questions, they managed the set up, kept us on time, and packed up all the stuff at the end of the event.   I had zero stress about the details and was able to just be the bride on our wedding day.
