My name is Shannon, and I founded Citrus City Events to help you do just that! My mission is to share my love and passion by crafting one-of-a-kind experiences that will leave guests eager to return to the picturesque city we call home. Offering award-winning event planning experience. I’ve planned everything from small social gatherings to Fortune 500 corporate events.

I’m not just an event planner, but consider myself to be an experience maker, logistical expert, storyteller, and another member of your team.     Shannon and her team helped us execute the wedding of our dreams. I was quite stressed when it came to the wedding planning process and didn't even know where to start half of the time. Every time I spoke with Shannon she made me feel at ease with her expertise and calm demeanor. There was always a feeling of--Shannon's got our backs. She hooked us up with the best vendors, supported us when issues arose, and was in constant communication with us. When we finally got to the wedding day, I was able to completely let go because I knew that the team had everything under control. And they exceeded my expectations. Everything went so smoothly. The decorations were beautifully placed, exactly as I had envisioned them. Shannon and her team made sure we were taken care of--handing us food and drinks when we were in the chaos of greeting guests. There was not one single hiccup in the day and the whole team felt like family by the end of the night. I'm so grateful they were a part of our special day. I'd recommend them to anyone is search of a wedding coordinator!

    Shannon is very organized and she pays attention to details. These qualities make her an outstanding planner. If you work with her, you know you're in good hands. You can relax as she will do the heavy lifting. Behind the scene, in the foreground, in the background, she is everywhere to make sure the event goes smoothly. She also has an amazing collection of candles, which I absolutely love. Thumbs up and more.

    Shannon and her team were amazing to work with. Firstly our wedding was somewhat last-minute, and thankfully there was a cancellation that allowed us to work with Citrus City Events. The planning process was super well organized and Shannon brought so many great fresh ideas to our pre-existing vision, while simultaneously incorporating and up-leveling ideas we brought to the table. The vendor connections including everything from furniture, to bar service, DJs and more were perfect for our event and we would never have been able to find services anywhere near the level of quality she brought without her help. The food, (shoutout James Madison Catering) was especially amazing and had all of our guests raving. Communication was also outstanding, always answering all of our questions super quickly and providing the needed reminders, assurances and recommendations to keep the planning process on track. Fast forward to day-of management and Shannon and her team were beyond professional, and kept the day running smoothly. Our wedding was an amazing unforgettable event for us and our guests, thanks to Citrus City Events!
