“I cannot recommend Katie and her team at Wildflower Elegant Events enough. I also want to start this review by saying that I didn't even think I needed a coordinator. My husband brought it up, and I was like "I don't think we need one, I've got all the planning down", but then he brought up all the reasons that a day of coordinator would be helpful. Let me just say - it was the best decision we ever made!!! I don't even know what I would have done without her. She was so helpful from beginning to end and was SO much more than just a "Day of" wedding coordinator, she helped throughout the months leading up to the wedding, around the time I was so overwhelmed with planning and helped me with things I would never have even thought about. Once we agreed we needed a coordinator, I had talked to/had consultations with a lot of people, and going with Katie was the best choice I made for my wedding day. She was in our budget/price range and from our first "consultation" I could just tell that she was the right choice. It felt right away that she CARED, and I wasn't going to just be a number for her. I also wanted to find someone who had experience with Jewish weddings, and although she did have some experience with less traditional Jewish weddings, I could tell that she was going to really learn and do the wedding right (ours was a fairly traditional Conservative Jewish wedding). Needless to say, my intuition was right and she learned everything she could about the traditions we wanted to honor. Leading up to the wedding, I was struggling finding a few vendors, and was extremely anxious about it, but she helped me to find a make up artist and a baker for the cake, and both ended up being AMAZING finds. She helped me finalize and curate our timeline to perfection and communicated it to all of our other vendors, and then made sure we stuck to that timeline on the day of. She gave me advice and told me about things I wouldn't have even thought about. I filled out a little intake form with what my vision was for the wedding and she made sure it came to life to perfection. She made sure all of the traditional Jewish activities we wanted were incorporated into the timeline, and made sure the day went by seamlessly. She coordinated with all the vendors to make sure everything looked and felt exactly as we had envisioned it. She also was there for me on the day of. If I had an issue or problem, a wardrobe malfunction (my dress ripped and she had a needle and thread ready to go!), was hungry or needed a drink, was frustrated because people weren't where they needed to be before the ceremony, whatever little thing it was, she was there to fix every problem if they arose. Katie was also just a great friend and hype woman throughout the whole day. She made me feel so great and beautiful, and truly was there for me from beginning to end. If you have any doubts or questions about hiring a wedding coordinator, let me just tell you that choosing Katie and Wildflower Elegant Events is choosing an option that will make your wedding planning and wedding day stress-free and PERFECT.”

“What is there to say other than without Marissa, there would have been no wedding. Joshua Tree has a reputation of being hot- and April is typically mild. NOT ON OUR WEDDING DAY! 40 degrees with wind chill with a wind SO strong that literally almost nothing would stay up (and it was completely outdoors). This girl jumped in to action and made sure that even with the craziest wind, we still had a *stunning* wedding reception. The flowers were picturesque- matching the venue, the bride and the groom to a T. All the smaller details on tables and the use of various pieces made the wedding pop in ways that as an artist and a bride, I will never forget. The colors, the choice of flowers, being able to jump to fix almost ANY situation on the fly- this girl has a PLAN and then she has at least 4-5 more in case those don't work out. She's an expert in all of it because she's been working in the wedding industry for almost a decade- planning, doing flowers, doing CAKES, running it.. the list goes on and on. She's the ONLY person I would ever want by my side for any of this and she made our day absolutely perfect even when everything we had plan for had only one enemy- wind.”

Linsey and Leah explained their attention to detail and years of experience that has shaped how they coordinate a wedding and we felt so at ease with their guidance. We got married in July 2025 at the Athenaeum at Caltech in Los Angeles where they’d worked before. Linsey joined us for a session in person at our venue and had such valuable insight. Our best wedding decision was asking her last minute to help coordinate our Indian welcome party of 200 guests and our only wedding regret was not booking them for a longer period! Their swift decision-making and organization was stellar: they printed schedules for our bridal party, caught a huge seating chart snafu day-of and fixed it on their own, used the emergency kit to sew a button that unexpectedly popped off a tux or bribe the ring bearer with a fruit snack, and remembered my veil which I’d forgotten in the rush!! They navigated assertive parents involved with planning with unflustered supervision and knew how to deescalate smoothly. I’ve seen other wedding planners refuse to do many tasks, so I remember being so grateful seeing Linsey help steam my wedding gown on her knees, constantly bring us food and water, and even put all our belongings in the bridal suite at the end of the night together for us to leave the venue without having to pack up - something so often overlooked. Our guests are still raving about how professional, helpful, and kind they were and how seamlessly the weekend was because of them! Most of all, they are kind, compassionate people who know how to get the job done while being a total joy to work with, which is critical as you spend the most amount of your wedding day with them by your side! We highly recommend The Double Knot- booking them was the BEST decision of our wedding.”

Review, bear with me because im bad with words I accidentally found Dani on here because "Unicorn" caught my attention and she was in my budget, more so she offered way more than other Coordinators who were charging more! When I interviewed her, she was super transparent & straight forward it (which was i loved) and she was super nice & considerate to work out a game plan/deal given our lack of time left and funds. And her happily willing to help us even though we live 2hrs apart is dedication! Dani is beyond nice, flexible, respectful, funny, super easy to get along with. She was very relatable & accepting, open minded of both me/my husband's ways of thinking, our humor, etc.. plus, she has experience with the Gamer Lifestyles so she was very happy to communicate with us through Discord any time we needed. No words can express how creative & tough Dani is. She provided many ideas like things i didnt think of, helped bring my ideas to life and work with things I made. She had a huge selection of decor we could borrow, plus She even put her blood, sweat, & tears into making alot of other decor for us! (Custom signs, custom lanterns, my custom bouquet, Custom Mirror/Guest Seating Chart List, etc). All of my family & friends in my wedding party and even my guests loved her personality, and appreciated how creative she was with the wedding (and tough with the vendors, especially the many random bystanders who almost interrupted our ceremony haha). I cannot emphasize how much i admire her talent of working Amazing under stress & fast paced environments, handling like 100 things at once, and knowing how to be a leader and make sure everything runs smoothly. Of course there was a couple of bumps here and there due to the venue, her printer, us being human, availability of decor/materials, etc, but she quickly adapted and our guests said they would have never guessed they said our wedding was just so perfect! I would definitely love to have Dani help me whenever I have an event again, no questions asked. Even my grandparents want to Hire her when they redo their vows for their anniversary lol We will never be able to express how grateful we are to have met & have help from Unicorn Wings & Amazing Things! P.S. we both used Ai to help give us inspo and visualize things, but we were all educated/had enough common sense to know how Ai works and that real life will never compare. and not everything is always in our control! Our guests said Dani and our wedding was PERFECT irregardless of whatever issues arised. WE ARE HUMAN AND LIFE HAPPENS”

“I was referred by Jay from the DJay company when I asked him if I should get a day of coordinator for my wedding and he said if I could afford it, absolutely. Megan has been an absolute life saver during our wedding process. We had multiple meetings over the phone discussing the day of timeline process, any questions I had, any suggestions or ideas she had, etc. We met the week before the wedding to do a final walk through and go over the day of timeline which helped ease a lot of our anxiety about where things would go and how things would flow together. Megan was there the day before our wedding for our rehearsal dinner & she picked up all of our wedding decor to take to our venue the next day. The day of the wedding, she was there literally from beginning to end. She was so kind and helpful, assisted in areas we couldn’t, set up our decor beautifully, helped our vendors set up and show them where they’re supposed to go, she helped set up our tables beautifully! When it was time for our cocktail hour pictures she met us outside with food and drinks knowing the bride and groom do not eat much during the wedding day. When we sat down at our sweetheart table, we had our dinner plates stacked with food sitting there waiting for us with water and drinks. She went above and beyond for us and we are forever grateful we could save the money and afford to hire her for our wedding. It made all of the difference. At the end of the night she packed everything up for us and signed off on the venue paperwork that we were down and cleaned up. Aside from Megan being super helpful, she has such a great personality and flowed well with our crazy family. We also opted for the design package, which was such a game changer. While I could have tried to handle decor myself, having someone bring the vision to life—and then take it all down afterward—saved me an incredible amount of time and energy. They say you should feel like the guest of honor at your own wedding, and that’s exactly how my husband and I felt. When the month of our wedding arrived, Ashley quickly got to work on communicating with and organizing all of our vendors and laying out the structure for the day. She traveled to Monte Rio to be with us the day before our big day, walked us through the ceremony, went over all of the details, and left us so confident and comfortable in her extremely capable hands. The day of the wedding, Ashley handled EVERYTHING and EVERYONE with such care and tranquility. All of our wedding vendors absolutely loved her, and we never stopped hearing about how great she was to work with! Ashley is an absolute BOSS in all of the best ways that you can imagine! She is supportive, encouraging, communicative, active, helpful, caring, the list just goes on and on. She wants you to succeed, and you can FEEL it. She remembered and double checked on all of the little details, before, during, and after our wedding, and words simply cannot express our gratitude. She did so many things automatically, that I hadn't even thought to discuss with her, but was so grateful that we had her there to do. Thank you Ashley!! She did so many little things that I didn't even realize until I started looking through all of our photos, and noticed that they had all been done. On top of all of that, she basically packed up the entirety of our decor with the assistance of her extremely helpful husband, which was such a huge relief for us and for our wedding party who had put so much into the day. We were all able to completely disconnect and just enjoy the evening, which was so unbelievably priceless. There are so many things that make Ashley stand out from other coordinators. So many coordinators that we had talked to before Ashley had a big list of things that they would NOT do, but not Ashley. She was willing to do whatever needed to be done to ensure that our wedding day went perfectly, and it did, thanks to her!! HUGE bonus, she brought along her Super 8 camera, and we CANNOT WAIT to see the footage!!
