Destination Weddings Travel Group was an absolute pleasure to work with for our destination wedding. Eve Magoon, our wedding planner, had quick responses and was extremely efficient throughout the entire planning process. She was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, taking many of the worries and stress away for our large wedding. Eve immediately solved an issue with our reception venue to ensure we got exactly what we wanted, and she was always on top of deadlines. She helped to make the planning enjoyable and was very caring, immediately taking care of any issues that could have arisen. We are so grateful to Eve and the Destination Weddings Travel Group team for making our special day perfect.

my fiance and i booked a group block for our wedding in antiguia on january 7th 2027 and have realzied that the hotel charges half the price of what the group block was set up as, for example the group block price for 7 nights is 4000 dollars whereas the resorts is about 2400. Once cancellation has been requested for the entire Room Block, the Total Group Cancellation Policy shall apply for all rooms or room nights held as of the date of cancellation and will supersede the aforementioned Reduction, Additions, Changes Policy." Because we dissolved the entire room block during an open grace window, the Total Group Cancellation Policy applies to all room files and explicitly supersedes all individual supplier rules, reduction policies, and voucher restrictions. Under the Total Group Cancellation Policy, zero penalties apply, and all funds are to be returned.It is an unfair and deceptive business practice to return 100% liquid cash to customers who paid less (uninsured) while withholding cash and forcing unusable, non-transferable store credits on elderly relatives who paid extra for insurance on a contract that was completely dissolved penalty-free. we are still within our no penalty window to dissolve the room block completly would honestly suggest a different agency or just working with the hotel urself, also their travel protection is a hoax just so they have a way to tie up ur money and not release it

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Destination Weddings!It was referred to me by a friend who also had her destination wedding booked through this platform and it only made sense for us to do the same. The agent we had the pleasure of working with (Sandy Stirling), was extremely helpful, we exchanged many many countless emails back and forth and joined calls to confirm what my husband and I were looking for in a resort.Sandy went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had all the answers to all our questions big and small. Prior to solidifying our hotel location, Sandy and I spent much time on the phone ironing out cost details and wedding specific questions.She was a great liaison between the resort and myself. The booking process was extremely smooth and my guests really appreciated the easy to use website that was extremely thorough and explanatory.We had an amazing time and absolutely loved the resort and the wedding planner that was with Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort & Spa. Would absolutely recommend Destination Weddings to all those getting married and want to have a seamless wedding planning.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. The entire experience was an absolute nightmare. From the service to the hotel staff. Someone should have told us how bad it was after the “wedding coordinator” If you could even call her that because that was a disaster had been.
