Hi! I’m Serenity — SoCal-based wedding planner, Day of Coordination pro, and unapologetic lover of crisp Diet Coke. I started out slinging appetizers as a banquet server and worked my way up through the wedding world, from intern to venue coordinator to full-blown planner. Now, I lead a team of professional knot tiers who live for the little details and smooth timelines. You bring the romance — we’ll bring the timelines, the tissues, and maybe a spare safety pin or two.
What sets us apart? Besides my obsession with timelines and a sixth sense for spotting a missing boutonniere, it's the fact that I’ve done it all. I started at the bottom (passing apps & clearing plates) and worked my way through just about every wedding role before becoming a planner. So when I say I’ve seen it all, I mean it - and I know exactly how to keep your day smooth, stress-free, and full of joy. As a Day of Coordination specialist, I’m all about handling the chaos before it becomes chaos. I’ll be your go-to gal for last-minute fixes, timeline magic, and keeping the good vibes flowing — all with a Diet Coke in hand, of course.

Best Coordinator Ever!
If you're reading reviews questioning on if you should hire Serenity, let this be your sign as a YES DO IT HIRE HER SHE IS AMAZING! There are so many words I could use to describe Serenity and her teams services they provide but I wouldn't have enough room, she is the kindest, sweetest, most detail oriented person we have met. We hired Serenity earlier this year to be the day of coordinator for our wedding and not only was her price fantastic but what she offers with her packages is even better. She was with us from the moment we put down the deposit. She answered every email we sent her within a day and was always so bright and full of light. She took over all communications with all vendors 2 weeks prior to our wedding to relieve some stress and it definitely did, on day of she stayed in communication with both of us and even when the bride was running a tad bit late she did everything in her power and got us back on schedule! She made the day so magical and got every request done and even more. She kept all the vendors in order and even our other vendors were calling us the following day say how great it was to work with her and she made it so easy for them too. We plan on using her again for any other event we need her for and will be recommending her to anyone and everyone. Thank you for everything you're amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better coordinator.
Best Coordinator out there!!
We had the privilege of having Serenity as our day-of coordinator on our special day and she was absolutely the BEST!!! Serenity is so talented at what she does! She is very organized, detail oriented, thoughtful, and so kind. She took care of ALL the details for us and made sure everything was planned ahead. We did not have to worry about a single thing the day of— we just got to sit back and enjoy the day (as it should be). She also assisted in setting up our personal decor at the venue and did a perfect job with her assistant. We were so beyond happy with how everything looked. I got so many compliments from family and friends saying how amazing the timeline of the day was and also how everything flowed so well (thanks to Serenity!!). So if you’re looking for a day-of coordinator do yourselves the biggest favor and hire Serenity! You’ll be so happy you did!! Thank you for everything Serenity, you’re awesome at what you do!
Best Wedding Coordinator Ever!!
When hiring a Wedding Planner, you really don’t know what you’re going to get until a couple months before the wedding when everything starts to come together. Serenity, was absolutely worth her weight in gold. I could not imagine having my wedding without her behind the scenes running everything. Anytime an issue popped up, Serenity handled it quickly and flawlessly. Leading up to the wedding her communication was thorough with quick responses. She is a true professional at her craft. If you are considering hiring her, please do yourself a favor and do it. I cannot recommend her enough. She made our wedding perfect!!
The BEST planner!
We had an amazing experience with Sun & Daughter Events! From start to finish, she was incredibly professional, timely, and friendly. She kept us on track with our schedule and attended all of our meetings, as well as the wedding rehearsal. Not only did she lead the rehearsal seamlessly, but she also executed the procession beautifully. We received countless compliments from friends, family, and even other vendors about how smoothly everything went, all thanks to her expertise. I received a text from my florist stating, “She’s great by the way. There’s a lot of terrible ones. She’s a good one.” Aside from all the bigger tasks she also took care of so many “smaller tasks” (that were actually quite a lot!) and made sure everything was done to perfection. Her creative ideas brought our vision to life in ways we couldn’t have imagined on our own. Her great communication and time management ensured us a stress-free planning. She was prompt, clear, and kept us in the loop on every detail. She communicated with the venue staff throughout the entire process and worked incredibly well with everyone involved, which made everything run seamlessly. She was extremely organized, reaching out to all our other vendors to ensure that all necessary documents for the venue were submitted on time and coordinating set-up times, locations, and details with everyone involved. On our big day, she arrived with so much enthusiasm. From the morning until the very end, she worked her butt off to ensure everything was going well. She made sure everything was set up exactly how we wanted it and if something wasn’t working out (inclement weather) she was a quick problem solver. She also checked in on us regularly to make sure we were doing okay, which was such a thoughtful touch. It was a perfect day, and we owe it all to her! She went above and beyond in ways we didn’t expect. Although it wasn’t part of her job, she took it upon herself to capture some of our special moments during the day and shared those pictures with us afterward. It was a small detail, but one of our favorites, and it really showed her dedication and care for us as clients. By the end of it all, we truly felt like we had gained a friend. It was hard to say goodbye after everything she did to make our day so special. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, professional, and personable wedding planner. You’ll be in great hands!
