“We hired Mostest for Day of Coordination and Something Borrowed Blooms Management. We chose our coordinator a month before our wedding and started working with her about 3 weeks ahead of the big day. We had an 87-person restaurant wedding at American Brass in LIC. Our DoC, Tea Shepherd, was incredible and picked up seamlessly all the things we planned for the wedding. I had put together most of the plans ahead of time, but she came in with suggestions and perfected all the details. I trusted her completely to run the day and also do all the decor setup. She made the venue looks so beautiful without much input from us as we trusted her vision. She coordinated with all the vendors before the wedding and during and they all had very positive things to say about her. She was so thoughtful with the preparations for the wedding and attentive to our needs. She checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had a drink and anything else while also making sure ran smoothly. Our coordinator for SBB, Fiona, received and dropped off all of the packages and communicated quickly and we’re very happy how all of that was handled.”

“TLDR: Claire is the absolute best!! If you are looking for a wedding planner, you can stop looking now. I am a very type A person with high expectations and Claire has exceeded them all! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I cannot thank her more. Please see our pictures, credited to Alicia King Photography (https://aliciakingphotography.com/) First: She is a real problem solver - our dream venue was non-negotiable (and one she found/recommended!), but we had issues finding certain vendors (not the venue’s fault, mainly had to do with timing). For example, we were having trouble finding our perfect florist, transportation and hair and makeup - Claire used her contacts and relationships and were able to find the most wonderful team for us and we could not be more grateful. It was true dedication for her to take matters into her own hands when my husband and I were thinking of giving up (i.e., we started looking into DIY options) and it is a testament to her reputation, character, and professionalism that certain vendors decided to make exceptions for us just to be able to work with her again Second: She has great judgment - many parts of the wedding process are not straightforward, and it was great to have Claire be a sounding board for what to do and what not to do. She will always try to give us what we want, but that does not mean that she’s a “yes-woman” and she will always offer her perspective with clear rationale when asked. Third: She cares so much - you can tell she genuinely wants to have each wedding be the best it can be! Around the time, I was wrapping up my graduate program and set to graduate the day after I planned on proposing. “We didn't think we needed wedding coordinators because we weren't planning a big, elaborate wedding. We wanted something small and meaningful—an intimate celebration with about 60 - 70 close family and friends —and figured we could handle most of the planning ourselves. “Alyssa and her team seriously made the last 1.5 years so easy for us. The day of the wedding she was seriously amazing. I know she was dealing with some tough things for us but I felt super shielded from the headaches (which I found out after the fact and was super annoyed at other vendors over but story for another day!) Everything went off without a hitch and we had no idea! Outside of that all the planning for over a year was super seamless. “LGBTQ safe. Type A personality approved. Experience with lesbian weddings (two bridezillas). Awesome team. Communicative and highly organized. 180 person wedding. After having a bad experience with another wedding planner, we found Chelsea Song Events. And thank god, we did. Chelsea immediately put my partner and I at ease. Within a week, Chelsea made us a shared document/spreadsheet where she organized all our vendors, to-do lists, timelines, etc. When I talk about everything was organized (even when to write vows, parent gifts, when to organize bathroom baskets and what to put in them), I mean everything.. Having access to this helped our Type A personalities feel so much better. For months, we met on a regular basis, and Chelsea always came with an agenda to help us focus on what needed to be done or updates about what she had done during those two weeks. There was full transparency which we really appreciated. After hiring some wonky vendors (before we met Chelsea), she pushed to make sure she personally had meetings with them and prepared them to deliver on the day of. She also created design mockups and floor plans so that we could really envision what the venue would look like. The month of the wedding, Chelsea handled everything having to do with vendors and the venue (double checking things, COIs, contacts), giving us brides the time to relax and get excited for the big day (without a to-do list ourselves). And day of, wow! She killed it. She and her team handled everything so that we didn’t have to. We had 180 people and a dozen vendors. But still, every time she saw us, Chelsea assured us everything was perfect (AKA she was putting out fires left and right, but we didn’t know that). And we ran EXACTLY on time, thanks to her. We also heard from so many of our vendors that she was amazing to work with on that side too. It’s difficult to put your trust into someone when planning a wedding, but speaking for myself and my partner, you can trust Chelsea every step of the way. She truly cares about her couples, and she loves what she does. She’s always reachable, great to bounce ideas off of, and wants to make your dream wedding come true. While being a perfectionist planner, Chelsea is also the kindest person. We can’t recommend her enough.”
