“Lindsay with Mostest was AMAZING! She helped us tremendously when the event planner for the Charleston Princess quit just a few weeks before my daughter’s wedding. There were many obstacles to navigate including not being able to board the vessel to set up and decorate until 2 hours before guests would begin boarding. Lindsay single handedly transported a car load of personalized details, decorations, party favors, bar items, extra linens, numerous picture frames and a huge Charleston Harbor nautical chart that served as the guest book. She had to take several trips from her car down a very long pier to get to the boat and set it all up in such a short time span. She managed it all beautifully! The timeline she created was amazing and we were actually a bit ahead of schedule prior to the ceremony. This gave us all some time to relax while sweet Lindsay was preparing for all of our guests to arrive. After the reception, Lindsay stayed on board and began packing up all of our special items carefully. We returned to the vessel after sending the bride and groom off, to find that she had managed to pack most of our items without our help. I can’t say enough about all that she did for us, especially with all of the hiccups and stresses we faced the last few weeks. She handled everything with such grace and poise! This MOB was quite stressed with the adversity we were facing that was out of our control and Lindsay smoothed everything out!! I can’t say enough about her!! “Talk about making the impossible, possible! I had worked with MVW Events to plan a surprise engagement picnic for my then girlfriend, now wife. Around the time, I was wrapping up my graduate program and set to graduate the day after I planned on proposing. MVW helped me set the vision for the picnic and coordinated sourcing vendors for the right deals on items that would make the moment extra special. With all the details in place, I was confident in what we had planned and was actually less nervous about the whole bended knee thing because of it. Fast forward to the day of and guess what ... It RAINED!! so the park area I had in mind did not allow folks on the grass after fresh rain so we had to change plans on the fly. Morgan and her super creative brain proposed she and her team set up everything in my apartment instead. That way we could have everything we needed for the occasion within arms reach. She even secretly met me while I was out with my partner at a school event to grab my apartment keys and head over to set everything up while I was out. When we got home, when I say the place looked like MAGIC!! We were both blown away (but of course I had an idea of what to expect). And of course, it went perfectly from there. Chelsea Song Events

“LGBTQ safe. Type A personality approved. Experience with lesbian weddings (two bridezillas). Awesome team. Communicative and highly organized. 180 person wedding. After having a bad experience with another wedding planner, we found Chelsea Song Events. And thank god, we did. Chelsea immediately put my partner and I at ease. Within a week, Chelsea made us a shared document/spreadsheet where she organized all our vendors, to-do lists, timelines, etc. When I talk about everything was organized (even when to write vows, parent gifts, when to organize bathroom baskets and what to put in them), I mean everything.. Having access to this helped our Type A personalities feel so much better. For months, we met on a regular basis, and Chelsea always came with an agenda to help us focus on what needed to be done or updates about what she had done during those two weeks. There was full transparency which we really appreciated. After hiring some wonky vendors (before we met Chelsea), she pushed to make sure she personally had meetings with them and prepared them to deliver on the day of. She also created design mockups and floor plans so that we could really envision what the venue would look like. The month of the wedding, Chelsea handled everything having to do with vendors and the venue (double checking things, COIs, contacts), giving us brides the time to relax and get excited for the big day (without a to-do list ourselves). And day of, wow! She killed it. She and her team handled everything so that we didn’t have to. We had 180 people and a dozen vendors. But still, every time she saw us, Chelsea assured us everything was perfect (AKA she was putting out fires left and right, but we didn’t know that). And we ran EXACTLY on time, thanks to her. We also heard from so many of our vendors that she was amazing to work with on that side too. It’s difficult to put your trust into someone when planning a wedding, but speaking for myself and my partner, you can trust Chelsea every step of the way. She truly cares about her couples, and she loves what she does. She’s always reachable, great to bounce ideas off of, and wants to make your dream wedding come true. While being a perfectionist planner, Chelsea is also the kindest person. We can’t recommend her enough.”

“I used Sparrows Daughter to coordinate and plan the entirety of my bachelorette weekend - this was 17 girls flying from across the country to Palm Beach and it went off perfectly!! MaryLouise was hands on the whole weekend but started working on the events month before. Flights were coordinated, arrival times synced, a full weekend of activities scheduled. MaryLouise worked with multiple vendors, including boat rentals, yoga studios, local busses and restaurants and the weekend went off without a hitch. She also worked with a local designers to create perfect welcome workout sets that everyone loved, and negotiated a great group rate. She was extremely accommodating and I feel like really listened and understood the ethos of what I wanted the weekend to be. I willllll be using her again for my next birthday!!!”

“We didn't think we needed wedding coordinators because we weren't planning a big, elaborate wedding. We wanted something small and meaningful—an intimate celebration with about 60 - 70 close family and friends —and figured we could handle most of the planning ourselves. We chose a restaurant, sent out invitations, and thought we had things under control. But our thinking shifted once we started considering the logistics of the actual day—including seemingly simple things like how to arrange chairs for the ceremony. Friends and family offered to help, but we wanted them to enjoy the event as guests, not worry about the details. After speaking with Ingrid and Gloria and reviewing their very reasonable proposal, we felt good about bringing them on. Over the next two months, they kept us organized, offered thoughtful and constructive suggestions, and were a steady source of calm and encouragement. They listened earnestly to what we wanted and helped bring it to life in a way that felt both personal and polished. We also really appreciated their help communicating and coordinating with vendors, including the restaurant, our photographer, and our musician. “Not sure where to start. This past year was so insane. We got engaged and planned and had a whole wedding in under a year- not even sure what made me lose my mind and do all that (plus we bought a house!). Without Alinato this entire year would have been a wild undertaking and truthfully there would have been several more breakdowns (and maybe my mother and I would have come to blows!). Truly Alyssa was so helpful. Every time she gave a recommendation even when I disagreed- she was right! Right down to the colored flowers- I do not know how she does it but she can conceptualize the entire day through the whole process. I am someone who needs a lot of visuals and a lot of explanation especially when it comes to the biggest day of my life and because I am super type A!! She was patient and really helped walk me and my partner through it. Our day was not only pretty and amazing to see come together but it was FUN. All I wanted was a stunning day that felt effortless and chic but also I wanted my friends to party and we achieved it! Of course everyone is human and there was a bump or two but truly I have no complaints. I am still in awe at how we pulled it off in such a short time period! Insane but I would 1000% recommend Alinato to any couples looking for a planner!”
