What is your payment structure?

To officially reserve your date, a 50% retainer is required when signing your contract. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding, giving you plenty of time to focus on the fun parts of planning. For couples booking a Full Wedding Planning package, we offer a four-part payment plan for flexibility. If you’d like to pay in full upfront, we’re happy to offer a 10% thank-you discount as a gesture of appreciation for your trust and commitment.

What’s the difference between a venue coordinator and The Wedded Company?

Accepted Answer

Your venue coordinator manages the venue: set-up, catering flow, and logistics tied to the property. We manage your entire wedding day. We oversee vendors, run the timeline, direct transitions, manage the guest flow, and handle details behind the scenes so you can stay present.

How early should we book you, and how do we know which package is right?

Accepted Answer

Most NYC couples book coordination 6–12 months out; full planning can start 12+ months out (NYC dates go fast). -If you’ve done most of the planning and want an expert to take over the final stretch, choose The Final Touch. -If you’d like extra guidance in the final months, The Seamless Transition is perfect. -For couples who want start-to-finish support, design direction, and full management, The Complete Journey offers the most comprehensive experience.

What exactly do you handle on the wedding day?

Accepted Answer

We handle the full timeline, vendor management, deliveries, set-up, cues, guest flow, problem solving, and all transitions throughout the day. Your lead planner is on-site the entire time, with assistants added based on guest count and complexity.

Question 5

Do you handle vendor coordination, insurance, and final confirmations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We collect COIs, confirm vendor details and arrival times, organize deliveries, and ensure all vendors follow the final timeline.

Do you offer design services, or can you work with our existing vision?

Accepted Answer

Both. Design guidance is included in the Complete Experience package. If you already have a clear vision, Final Touch and Signature focus on executing it with accuracy. Design services can also be an add-on.

Question 7

How many weddings do you take per weekend? Will you personally be there?

We take one wedding per day. Your lead planner, Tory Taylor, is present for the entire event. You’ll never be handed off or feel like “one of many.”

Do you travel outside of NYC or work in non-traditional venues?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We serve Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the greater New York Metro area, with select availability for Hudson Valley and destination events. Whether your wedding is in a classic ballroom or a modern loft, we adapt seamlessly to the space.

Once your contract and retainer are received, you’ll get a welcome email outlining next steps, your kickoff call, planning tools, and your first checklist. From there, we guide each stage of the process with clear communication and structure.
