Working with Yulia was truly one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding. She is an incredible wedding and event planner and a gifted florist with an exceptional eye for design and detail. I had a very specific vision for my dream wedding—which included multiple venues and complex logistics—and Yulia brought it all to life beautifully. From assembling an amazing team of photographers, makeup artists, and videographers, to coordinating every detail on the day-of, she handled everything with grace and precision. She created and delivered the most stunning floral arrangements, and cleverly designed them to be used across multiple locations (ceremony and reception). She even handcrafted my seating labels and added thoughtful, personal touches throughout the event. I was able to fully enjoy the day knowing she had everything handled. Beyond my wedding, Yulia also planned my baby shower and continues to be my go-to for beautiful floral arrangements. I'm pretty indecisive, so having her as a thought partner throughout the wedding process was a lifesaver—she helped me make key decisions with confidence and was always available to text, brainstorm, and support. We loved this venue and all our memories from our wedding. We worked with Narod who helped in all communication. We also got help from Ryan in AV. They were both so easy going and great to work with! We loved how beautiful the setup is. The ceremony outside was so nice. The Redwood Hall is also so gorgeous for photos and fun for dancing. We also really liked the cocktail area. We got an animal ambassador and guests had fun seeing the ferret and kestrel. We got nothing but compliments related to how fun the venue was. We are so happy we chose this place for our wedding. As a local California wedding photographer, I’ve had the joy of working at The Mountain Terrace in Woodside many times over the past few years, and it’s truly one of my favorite venues. Nestled among the towering redwoods, this place offers a magical blend of natural beauty and charm that’s perfect for weddings from 20 people to 150. No matter the size, it always feels like an elevated backyard weddings with seamless transitions between spaces with plenty of photo oppurtunities. The outdoor ceremony space, with its meadow and stunning views of the Bay Area, is absolutely breathtaking. And the transition to a yummy dinner on the deck makes for such a cozy evening to top off the celebration. Not to mention, the fire pits s’mores option at the end of the night is an excellent way to make sure all guests feel comfortable and can enjoy their time - dance party or no! From a photographer’s perspective, this venue is a dream. The redwoods, open spaces, and panoramic views create endless opportunities for gorgeous photos, no matter the season or time of day. Plus, the staff here are amazing - always professional, friendly, and on top of everything, making every event run smoothly. I highly recommend working with their venue coordinators to keep things running smoothly, and the kitchen staff is beyond. I ALWAYS look forward to dinners at Mountain Terrace as they use fresh and seasonal ingredients and have some of the best dinner options of any of the venues I’ve worked at. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s serene, picturesque, and run by a fantastic team, The Mountain Terrace is a fantastic choice. It’s a place where unforgettable memories are made!

Carlos provided wonderful service at both our engagement shoto shoot and the day of our ceremony. He started both with a quick speech on posing and posture to help everyone look their best. He brought his son as a second shooter for our ceremony, and they both mingled with our guests at the reception, getting casual shots of most of our friends and family. He provided finished photos so quickly after the event (a little over 400 photos) that we were able to send those casual shots out with the thank you cards.

We worked with Yoko from Two Perfect Events, and her team was on top of it every step of the way. Yoko made sure to get to know us and took every step possible over the year we worked together to make sure that we were prepared for the big day. She was in touch with our vendors, and our families and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. We never felt behind schedule or rushed because Yoko and team were so organized and on top of it. They really took care of us throughout the entire process. Something we appreciate is that they anticipated we'd need breaks during the day and scheduled those for us as well, they also made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout! Our families could not stop talking about how efficiently the entire day was managed. 11/10 want to plan another wedding just to hire them again.

We held our wedding reception at Saratoga Springs in the Cathedral Grove region of the venue on a Saturday in October. After visiting them for a walkthrough, we booked this venue about a year and a few months in advance. This was the first venue we visited and we fell in love! We felt a great family-like vibe from the staff, starting with Jennifer who coordinated our initial booking and tour. Throughout our time preparing for this event, Olivia and Sam were extraordinary in their communication, response time, and knowledge of these events. They did a wonderful job in helping us understand what we needed vs. what we wanted and good decisions to make. They never tried to upsell us on more expensive options, always letting us know the best value for what we wanted. Throughout this process, we knew we had made the right choice in terms of staff. Scenically, Saratoga Springs is stunning! An outdoor venue with several different species of large trees like oaks and redwoods, many small creeks that run through and around the venue, and several amenities included such as lights that wrap around the trees, a firepit, and artificial turf that you can actually wear high heels on! We were in love with the scenery immediately because our reception was LOTR/Legend of Zelda themed and this was perfect for us. Throughout the actual event, the Saratoga Springs staff was excellent. They assisted us and our own day of wedding coordinators in running the event and making sure we had everything that they could provide. Our reception was during a brutal heat wave in the Bay Area, but Cathedral Grove had so many large trees that the shade they provided meant the floor never got hot and it felt more like 75 degrees which was SO essential for the comfort of ourselves and our guests. Everything was great, and we give the venue and their staff a 10/10. There was one glaring issue we want to address. The DJ we booked, Paul Dominguez, was a very nice man. He seemed to be on top of it, being in constant communication with us leading up to the event. We felt that he was going to do a great job. Yet, when it came time for the event, he made SEVERAL mistakes in what we asked him to do that we felt the need to address this situation and performance. He is part of the approved vendor list for DJs but we honestly feel Saratoga Springs needs to either reevaluate him or discuss this with him because literally everything else about the night was perfect for us, except him. Again, he is a nice guy and even provided cold sparklers for us for free which we really appreciated, but the lack of attention to detail in several aspects of this night was something we felt we needed to address here. Overall, Saratoga Springs is an excellent venue choice for a big event like a wedding/reception and we are happy to recommend anyone looking for a venue. We had an amazing experience for our reception and we are very satisfied with the staff and scenery of this venue.

Opened in spring of 2001, the Los Altos History Museum resides in an impressive three-level, 8,200-square-foot building – built entirely with private donations; building ownership was transferred to the City of Los Altos in 2002. The Museum features a changing exhibits gallery as well as the permanent exhibit, “Crown of the Peninsula,” that describes the rich history of Los Altos and the surrounding area.

Bride’s Perspective Our wedding was a candlelit pizza party in the garden—casual, approachable, and elegant all at once. About 80 guests came. The ceremony was under the tree near the entrance. During cocktail hour, some guests (especially families with kids) enjoyed docent-led tours of the house. For dinner, we seated everyone at two long banquet tables on the bricks. While a lot of us were dancing inside, guests also gathered outside around the heaters under blankets we provided. The venue’s gardens and old trees meant we needed very little décor — we went with some DIY Trader Joe’s flowers & lots of candles. When the sun set, the glow from the candles and string lights provided by LAHM was magical. One highlight was cutting the cake at the end of the tables, looking out at our laughing, candlelit guests. We expected warm October weather, but the forecast dipped into the low 60s. Propane heaters worked perfectly, and combined with candles, lights, and blankets, the night felt intimate and warm. We live close to the venue and got ready at home, which turned out to be ideal—relaxed, convenient, and comfortable. Before planning, I imagined a rustic barn wedding, while my husband wanted something elegant. The museum was the perfect balance — and better than either of us pictured. Working with Lisa was wonderful. She was professional, responsive, and calm from the first walkthrough through the end of the night. I enjoyed checking in with her throughout the event, and everything ran smoothly. We trusted her recommendations and appreciated how she coordinated with all our vendors. We joke that if we ever got married again, we’d do it all the same — same space, same people, same Lisa! Groom’s Perspective We knew our venue search was over when we found the Los Altos History Museum. Lisa, the venue coordinator, not only manages a beautiful space but also brings clarity with straightforward policies and transparent pricing, which gave us freedom to design the day exactly how we wanted. The event moved naturally through the property: ceremony under the trees, cocktails near the house, dinner on the bricks, and dancing inside. It felt private but accessible, and the gardens were perfect for photos. My favorite moment was watching the sun set over dinner as candles and string lights took over. Lisa was fantastic — responsive, flexible, and organized. She met with our vendors in advance and made space to store supplies several days ahead of the wedding. She was the first to arrive and last to leave. She even helped pack our car at the end of the night. A few notes for future couples: there’s limited getting-ready space (we used our home, which worked great), tenting for rain can be tricky and expensive, and there’s no commercial kitchen. None were issues for us, and Lisa explained these points to us early so there were no surprises. Honestly. Patricia was fabulous. As the Mother of the Bride, I watched her handle vendors, last minute surprises, and all of our guests with Grace and Professionalism.
