How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

Every session is different! I generally deliver an average of 20-50 photos per hour of shooting, but I will always do my best to include as many photos as possible in your final gallery! Factors like lighting, setting, and number of events or themes included can all change how many photos you end up with. If you ever feel like your gallery is missing a moment, feel free to reach out to me!

Will you edit all our pictures?

Absolutely! All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also include basic retouching services like simple blemish removal and teeth whitening, and offer more complex retouching services for an additional fee.

Question 3

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding and your needs. Not all weddings *need* a second shooter, but this will be part of our planning process! The cost of a second shooter or assistant is included in some of my wedding packages, but one can be added to any wedding package.

Do you also offer video services?

I do not, but if you're having trouble finding a videographer, I'm happy to make some recommendations!

Question 5

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

This depends on where you are in the planning process — but our contract should be signed at least 7 or 8 months before your date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible to make sure I'm available for your date, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. I generally only accept inquiries for weddings that are at least one month away, but last-minute bookings will sometimes be assessed a 15% additional fee.

How long will it take to see our pictures?

I always do my best to get your gallery delivered as soon as I can; my turnaround time varies by season, but you'll typically receive your full digital gallery in about 8-12 weeks after your wedding. I also always make sure to send over a few sneak peeks within a few days following your wedding so that you can post on social media and enjoy a few pictures to hold you over!

Do you recommend booking an engagement session?

Definitely! I always suggest booking an engagement shoot with your wedding photographer for a few reasons: it's fun, it gives you a beautiful way to share your news with friends and family, gives you options for your save-the-dates and invitations, and MOST importantly, it gives us a chance to get to know each other! I want you to be comfortable with me and my style before your wedding, and it's helpful for me to understand your comfort levels and styles in front of the camera. While engagement sessions aren't included in my wedding packages, I do offer a discount for couples that book both a wedding and engagement session!

How will we receive our photos?

I deliver all of my photos via digital gallery, which makes it easy for you to view, favorite, share, and download your images. You can even hide the photos you don't want your loved ones to see before sharing with them. Plus, my digital galleries have a shop linked if you and your loved ones would like to order prints, canvases, albums, and more!

What do you require for booking?

I always like to have a video call with my potential wedding clients before making anything official, just to make sure I'm the best fit for you! If you're ready to book me, I just need a signed contract and a 25% deposit (50% for non-wedding bookings). Once that's done, I'm all yours!

Question 10

Can we have the RAW images?

Accepted Answer

As part of my standard contract, I do not share RAW files with my clients. This both protects my copywrites on the images and ensures stylistic consistency throughout my work. Similarly, my contract specifies that the final post-production and editing styles, effects, and overall look of the images are left to my discretion; images should remain unaltered and cannot be re-edited by the client when publishing photos on personal websites, social media or printing (i.e. cropping, adding filters & effect)
