Hello! I’m so excited for the chance to work with you. I’m a former teacher who has always had a passion for photography. I started working freelance in 2015 and did a lot of my first jobs in the music industry. I shot Warped Tour a few times and even had one of my promos featured by AP magazine. I quickly realized I loved working with couples the most, and now focus on couple and family portraits and weddings!

I love having fun with couples and bringing out their best sides, even if they think they’re “awkward” or “not photogenic,” which are things I hear far too often. My number one priority with any couple is to make sure they’re having a great time, those good feelings will come through in the photos and make them even more beautiful and meaningful! I love getting to know my couples and working with all sorts of people — and I can’t wait to hear from you!

    Amazing pictures from an amazing person!

    We can’t recommend Thalia more! Every detail we mentioned was photographed perfectly and with so much care. She is an amazing photographer and equally an amazing person. She works so well with all ages and personalities as well. Such a relief to have a passionate and dedicated person in charge of making sure your photos turn out as beautifully as your big day.

    We love Thalia!

    Working with thalia was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. She went way beyond her duties as a photographer- she stepped in as a coordinator in several moments and fit into our group seamlessly the day of the wedding.     From our very first meeting over Zoom with Thalia, I knew we’d made the right choice. Her chipper, upbeat, and lighthearted personality made us feel at ease immediately. We had the pleasure of working with Thalia for our engagement photos, our wedding, and my sister’s wedding. Each time, she was a master at combining carefully curated poses with beautifully captured candids that embodied the spirit of the event and of the couples at the center. Thalia skillfully posed us in ways that photographed beautifully and didn’t feel awkward in the moment—my husband and I were laughing and enjoying ourselves the entire time. Thalia has a true gift for composition and what initially drew me to her was the moodier vibe of the photography style. Every session is different! I generally deliver an average of 20-50 photos per hour of shooting, but I will always do my best to include as many photos as possible in your final gallery! Factors like lighting, setting, and number of events or themes included can all change how many photos you end up with. If you ever feel like your gallery is missing a moment, feel free to reach out to me!
Absolutely! All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also include basic retouching services like simple blemish removal and teeth whitening, and offer more complex retouching services for an additional fee.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding and your needs. Not all weddings *need* a second shooter, but this will be part of our planning process! The cost of a second shooter or assistant is included in some of my wedding packages, but one can be added to any wedding package.
I do not, but if you're having trouble finding a videographer, I'm happy to make some recommendations!
This depends on where you are in the planning process — but our contract should be signed at least 7 or 8 months before your date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible to make sure I'm available for your date, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. I generally only accept inquiries for weddings that are at least one month away, but last-minute bookings will sometimes be assessed a 15% additional fee.
I always do my best to get your gallery delivered as soon as I can; my turnaround time varies by season, but you'll typically receive your full digital gallery in about 8-12 weeks after your wedding. I also always make sure to send over a few sneak peeks within a few days following your wedding so that you can post on social media and enjoy a few pictures to hold you over!
Definitely! I always suggest booking an engagement shoot with your wedding photographer for a few reasons: it's fun, it gives you a beautiful way to share your news with friends and family, gives you options for your save-the-dates and invitations, and MOST importantly, it gives us a chance to get to know each other! I want you to be comfortable with me and my style before your wedding, and it's helpful for me to understand your comfort levels and styles in front of the camera. While engagement sessions aren't included in my wedding packages, I do offer a discount for couples that book both a wedding and engagement session!
I deliver all of my photos via digital gallery, which makes it easy for you to view, favorite, share, and download your images. You can even hide the photos you don't want your loved ones to see before sharing with them. Plus, my digital galleries have a shop linked if you and your loved ones would like to order prints, canvases, albums, and more!
I always like to have a video call with my potential wedding clients before making anything official, just to make sure I'm the best fit for you! If you're ready to book me, I just need a signed contract and a 25% deposit (50% for non-wedding bookings). Once that's done, I'm all yours!
As part of my standard contract, I do not share RAW files with my clients. This both protects my copywrites on the images and ensures stylistic consistency throughout my work. Similarly, my contract specifies that the final post-production and editing styles, effects, and overall look of the images are left to my discretion; images should remain unaltered and cannot be re-edited by the client when publishing photos on personal websites, social media or printing (i.e. cropping, adding filters & effect)
