Question 3

Can I see a mockup of proposed flowers?

Accepted Answer

Yes! After the contract is signed, only on request do I offer a mockup. You would be changed the price of that mockup arrangement & any delivery fees for bringing the mockup to you. The mockup is typically a table centerpiece. I prefer to create this between 30 and 60 days before the wedding to take into account seasonal flowers and time to make adjustments before the final proposal and vendor commitments are due.

How far in advance should we order our wedding flowers?

It’s never too early to contact me about your wedding flowers. I recommend figuring out a few details before you do. For example, Have you selected the location for your ceremony &/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, my couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day. I have clients reach out in as little as 4 weeks and as far out as 20 months. I appreciate seeing any inspirational pictures and mood boards you have for your wedding. These visuals will help me better understand your vision and guide me in creating a plan that meets your expectations.

Do you handle flower breakdown after the ceremony?

Yes, I offer breakdown services, delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception.

What should we expect at our consultation? Do we need to bring anything?

Consultations are done over the phone and last approximately 30 minutes. Please come prepared with details about your wedding, like your budget and style, as well as any inspiration images you have for your wedding flowers. We will start by reviewing the basic information about your wedding. We will then get into the details of specific floral items. I will then ask a couple of logistical questions and finish up with how I work as a florist and any last questions you may have. The more information and ideas you provide, the better I can help you. After your consultation, I will write a customized estimate with prices and email it to you.

Do you have a minimum spend for weddings?

I do not have a minimum floral budget. As every wedding is unique, I customize each estimate to my client's needs and wants. I try to be as flexible as possible with my clients while keeping my personal standards of delivering extraordinary floral arrangements and customer service.

Question 8

What is your service area? Do you have a delivery fee for flowers?

Accepted Answer

I serve the great San Francisco Bay Area. My delivery radius is approximately 200 miles from San Francisco. Transport/Delivery fees are based on travel distance and the size of your floral order. Since many weddings require a professional set-up, I also charge a separate fee for event installation.
